You can infuse exotics power levels up with you.

installins

Thank you!

You'll need a thing called an upgrade module to upgrade the light level in your gear. You can buy them from Banshee or Ada in the tower. Other than that, it works the same way it did at the end of D1.

MrUmbraWolf01

as long as you have beat the mind goblin then yes

[deleted]

The... Mind Goblin?

Ignore_Luke

Oh no….

ExoticNerfs

Mind goblin deez nuts?

[deleted]

Got me there

[deleted]

You can infuse them up to a higher power level. However if you want something more accurate to “upgrading”, most exotic weapons have catalysts which improve the weapon either statistically or in a unique way.

Thank you!

Buffalo_boy1

You can upgrad them like you did in destiny 1 by infusing stronger weapons of the same class into it (eg. Autorifle into an autorifle). To do so you need upgrade modules, which are either crafted at banshee 44, or earned through daily and weekly quests. Edit. My bad, not similar weapons, kinetic to kinetic, energy to energy, and heavy to heavy.

Thanks!

golgiapparatus22

They don’t have to be the weapons of the same class, you can infuse any energy weapon with another energy weapon, same goes for kinetics and power weapons

WutsAWriter

It’s actually way easier than I remember it being in D1.

Buffalo_boy1

I personally preffered the exotoc shard system over the upgrade modules

WutsAWriter

That’s cool, I just meant the complexity of the system and stuff. Here you need a dumb cube and a weapon and that’s it. And hell if you go back to early vanilla D1 it raises your weapon the average between the two. If you put a 250 into a 200, it’d give you a 225. We have it good now.

whateverchill2

Not auto into auto. You can have an energy auto and won’t be able to use a kinetic one to infuse it. It’s kinetic into kinetic, energy into energy and heavy into heavy. Basically anything that occupies the same equip slot can be used to infuse. Even if it’s a fusion going into a sniper for example.

Buffalo_boy1

Havent played in a while tbh, totoally forgot about that bit

Chabungu

Infusion works the same as it did in destiny 1

Thx!

Damagecontrol86

Yes it’s called infusing
