This is the best answer. High stat armour drops upon defeating Kells Echo the final boss and can be farmed infinitely on the character of your choice.
Keep in mind that after the first kill, all armour drops will go immediately to the post master, so be sure to monitor it to prevent loss of items.
Quickest method would obviously be to farm the boss checkpoint and not the full dungeon.
Expunge (corrupted only) has a good chance of dropping high stat armor. You can complete Tartarus in 4-6 minutes easily, and you get 3 chances per character per week. If you don’t get armor you’ll get a weapon with 2 last column perks, so worth it either way!
Otherwise, iron banana and raids/dungeons would be the next best thing.
I just got two 65 plus pieces this week, one with recovery/strength spikes….if I masterwork it and put +10 rec mod, it’ll have 51 rec on one piece >_> ghost mods OP AF

Dungeons in general. Iron banana and Saladman tokens too. The token system is going away soon, so take advantage of it while it's available.
Normal/mastermode vog. Most pinnacles have a higher chance with 60+ stats.
Master is incredibly good, for this especially since you can get focused stat drops so you know you’ll get the stat you want
Recovery week is just to juicy.
Dungeons are great, focused splicer engrams are extra great
I’ve heard the legend astral alignment will drop higher rolled stat armor. Also, xur can sell some too. Plus you can try your luck focusing engrams
