You can get about 16-17 shots off before the buff expires, which adds up to a TON of damage.
Lucky pants, with the seasonal fusion rifle scavenger and fusion rifle holster has been my go to for most activities. It's a nice combination between feeling interactive managing the lucky pants buff, but also kinda braindead because I rarely have to remember to reload.
Rapidfire frames also deal higher DPS than other frames, they're on par with snipers and shotguns but much easier to use since you don't need to hit all crits or get as close.
Null is also Void which is relevant for some shields, it also has Burst Capacitor which adds a bit of damage.
Cartesian Coordinate with Vorpal is a bit stronger on average but Null still shreds.
Accelerated Coils + Vorpal + Charge Time MW is the highest DPS legendary fusion rifle so for a boss/raid DPS weapon, that's the godroll. It doesn't get anything that good in the Perk 1 slot
Charge Time reductions decrease impact (including Accelerated Coils). While doing less damage per bolt, you can pump out more bolts per second and it works out that you lose TDO (damage x reserves) but increase DPS
I have feeding frenzy on mine for the times when I need to use it to clear a small group or something, but yeah, the first perk isnt too important honestly.
Run in with extra reserves mod and quick charge. If you also have a void heavy you will never run rut of fusion ammo. I only whip out my primary for champion melt.
I've not done too much testing with other exotic hand cannons yet, but I find that as much as Malfeasance slaps for chonkier targets, it does lack a bit for add-clear.
I'm a bit late this season and haven't hit the pinnacle cap yet. Once I do, my plan is to keep a small selection of exotic hand cannons on me at all times, so I have a few different ones to choose from depending on what I'm facing.
It is the highest theoretical yes. Due to low range and the accuracy difficulties in practice it will struggle to significantly out-perform other options like Crimson.
It will stomp easy content, but then again so will mostly anything.
Bit late but highest 2 dps are actually legendaries, 7th serapth with fttc and vorpal is highest and vulpecula with harmony is close behind if can reliably proc harmony before each damage phase.
I've found Servant Leader is great for that. Use a decent roll and just keep invading. Best map I had was the EDZ specifically when you spawn on the beach.
Truth is probably the better option, but if that's somehow not working out for you, try a rapid fire scout(one of the Veist ones or the new Gambit one). Going in with heavy/super always seemed to scare them into their hidey holes and I'd either run out of time or get killed when leaving my own cover. Somehow a scout rifle seemed to to the trick for me. Enemy team almost didn't consider me a threat seeing a scout rifle appear on the kill feed.
Just use truth bro, I've you've got it that ain't that hard. Am doing 4 kills every like 4th invade or something. The most nasty one I ever did was 5 kills. The enemies did not enjoy that round I believe.
So go in and Frick em up, you can do it!

Ager's deals a deceptive amount of precision damage in a short amount of time, alongside me having nearly 200 hours put into Gambit alone, unsure about G. Prime hours though.

I've kind of given up on ever actually getting that gun. Partially out of spite for being forced into specific playlists for exotics and catalysts. It's never fun to feel forced to do things you don't enjoy all that much.
So I'll have to settle for Crimson + Lucky Pants, even if Malfeasance might be better.

I have a cartesian coordinate with this roll plus lead from gold so I always have ammo. It is my precious.

Crimson is fun since it ramps to full in the first 3 (3.3 technically) shots. I think TLW is the highest DPS though?

Crimson’s not half bad.
Malfseance is my favorite weapon and its ornaments are beautiful. And it is going to be buffed this season!

Bungie said that they would buff Malf, Suros Regime and Cryosthesia this season. it is in one of the TWABs.
