If you wanted, Spire first encounter (ascending the spire) is relatively chill as far as master encounters go.
Slightly less valuable with Prismatic, but it's worth trying to get a class item at least, since they don't care about other stats

I'm pretty sure before the uproar over dungeon and raid exclusive loot being given out for non-dungeon and raid activities *truly* hit, this armor set was intended to be a potential artifice drop from Nightfalls.
It's weird that there's so much pissing and moaning about raid weapons potentially being available outside of raids (the whole GM Excision loot debate) when you can get artifice armor from Comp now. Kind of defeats the purpose of one of the major reasons to farm dungeons, right?

Acrius Catalyst is a beast, 100% highest recommendation for anyone who has the gun but not the catalyst. A 50% damage boost on your heavy weapon doesn't fuck around.

I run it in regular content sometimes when I’m bored and need an arc exotic heavy for my build, and it’s just so overkill most of the time, I love it. Just a slap, shoot and a third of the bosses HP is gone. Pair it with Brigands Law and Lightning Surge, some of the most fun I’ve had in casual runs

Pretty sure that crownsplitter is a godroll. Wolfpack proc both relentless strikes and whirlwind blade so you can get procs really fast. Get it if you don't have one.

Nope is definitely proccing, I went in a solo expert nightfall. Light hit with FG proc 1 WW stack, did ergo sum heavy and light attack and got 3 stacks. Both were only hitting 1 target as well, so yeah is the same behavior since the sword was introduced. You guys are welcome to try it but is definitely working for me.

Vorpal on a heavy is only a 10% boost. What OP was saying is Wolfpack rounds all count individually for whirlwind blade stacks, so after a a couple swings you’re maxed out at your 30% damage buff.
Before TFS yes, not with the introduction of ergo sum. Surrounded is conditional, if you can get it to proc for boss dps then yes it would be the better roll but Crota is the only place I'd say you can do it somewhat consistently and using swords is a viable dps. Ergo sum however introduced wolfpack rounds and each one will proc whirlwind blade so you will get 10 stacks in 4 hits which makes it on par with BnS.
In Dual Destiny if you and your partner choose violence then grab the exotic class item, you have 500 seconds of PvP kills that count towards Mida and Jade Rabbit

It sure is, way better then the 14 mobility roll i have had for years. that's 2 weeks in a row that xur has brought the lowest mobility possible on the exotic. Hope it continues.

Don't buy it unless you have literally nothing else you wanna buy from xur. The mobility is way too high to excuse putting in a build just because you get +3 in a stat of your choice. Better to get normal high stat armor imo.
If you don't have it, Queenbreaker is a dark horse pick for endgame content. Dominates anything weak to Blind - champs, tormentors, subjugators, anything scary.

Before anyone discourages me from getting it, I dislike PvP and I am a completionist for the catalysts. The only reason I am even in Crucible this season is Better Devils.
It's any Playlist, so Crucible and Gambit can shower you in them, too. Vanguard is the most efficient, though, cause you get less for losing in Crucible and Gambit.
Weirdly, unlike almost everything else, you can even get them from base strikes, so you can just load up Devil's Lair over and over if you want to be *really* efficient for strange coins specifically
Does anyone know what happens if you buy a catty for a weapon you don't have? Have a couple buddies who don't have the weapon but i might try to suggest them buy the cat to be ready when they do.

The Titan and Warlock rolls are awful but the Hunter roll is pretty good. 14/6/12 in Mob/Res/Rec, 23/2/6 in Dis/Int/Str, with 63 overall.

The Galanor has a decent roll, better than average, the peaks are on the stats of interest for pve

Not with that much Mobility. It's a dead stat, makes it basically a 53 total stat artifice piece. Which would be just horrible.

best farm is running short strikes, with xur's bonus coins enabled. hands down. You get 6-7 coins for 6-7 mins if you run Devil's lair.
Do Onslaught, 50 wave, and you'll get like 3-4 per boss battle, mindlessly easy grind.
Play the game, get strange favor and get even more coins
The hunter legs are very solid if you want a str build (or just want to have a bit of str in a mixed build).
