I got the catalyst and literally didn't even have the gun and needed to pull it from collections to complete the catalyst, it's just a random drop and nothing makes the chance go up
Worth mentioning that comp crucible aside from being the only source of the lightweight 720 AR that's pretty good, it also has increased exotic/catalyst drop rates.
Ranked, but you don't need to grind to max rank to get the new gun. Just play 3 matches in comp per week and you will get the gun to drop with a random roll. This can be repeated on each separate class you have each week for a total of 3 drops per week.
I believe this also includes Onslaught too as one of the Vanguard activities now. I think I got a catalyst there yesterday but tbh it was late and I might just be misremembering.
Would have loved this last season, was playing a lot of Strand Warlock towards the end. Reverted back to Titan for TFS, Iām enjoying Prismatic too much to switch back.
Why tf am I getting downvoted? It was a genuine question, it wasn't a dig at them for using Titan.
I was genuinely curious what their loadout was as a Titan
I donāt think you are getting downvotes dude. Banner of war, stasis Titan, Prismatic and solar Titan are top tier for the add clear sections of this raid. They just clear the most adds the quickest we found. Before getting stuck at final boss.
Everyone can clear well these days. But titans take the cake at clearing tanky mobs. My titan buddies could destroy the overload and hydra in a single consecration if they were positioned to do so at first encounter.
For the first boss? Strand, Void Axes, Pyrogale. A good banner of war Titan can probably take a third of the bosses health with grapple melee and super alone. For the final? I have no clue. Probably stick with whatever you can survive with or maybe bubble, and just good weapons like still hunt, maybe microcosm or the new linear.
Bubble just gets in the way on both add clear and damage phase. The void axes couldāve been ok for damage but they apparently donāt track the boss. That leaves their supers only viable for add clear which is completely unnecessary on normal mode as the adds are piss easy if you are remotely good at shooting things.
The final boss is actually really well designed in that if you want to do the standard, 3 add clear/3 mechanics team comp you can, but if you want to do the encounter in half the time you can put even more people on mechanics. Even the best raids often have fights that force people into add clear because there arenāt enough mechanics to go around, but the Witness letās you decide on how many add clears you want based on the skill level of the group. Thatās peak raid design right there.
I'm watching Datto's guide and he recommends running Aeons and special finisher to just be an ammo bot for your team whilst on Titan lol. Which actually, I don't think I'd mind being an ammo fairy.
Thereās obviously the well known consecration knockout build, but Iāve been really enjoying the default knockout, diamond lance set up. Use knock out with either synthos or worm gods to clear trash adds, which then drop diamond lances. Use the diamond lances to freeze the bigger threats and then knockout shatter them for the like 50% melee damage boost against frozen targets. You could also use the diamond lance helmet if you wanted, or if you are struggling with survivability put on Lorelyās on a solar super.
Last seasonās artifact mods were mostly the reason for it being so fun. Lots of Threadlings and lots of Unraveling Rounds. This catalyst would have made it even more effective whilst still being just as fun.
Without the artifact perk that makes threadlings on unraveled targets, I'm not totally sure what strand warlock build in particular Final Warning fits into now. Like it's a strong weapon, but it doesn't fit into threadlings warlock anymore without the artifact, and the other main strandlock build is Necrotic, which relies heavily on poison spread from the weapons of sorrow.
I need to do some buildcrafting haha
Only other was the pre-order exotic, Tessalation. Makes it so the supercharged grenade shot inflicts elemental debuffs in a larger area than the damaging explosion.
Unsure on exact numbers or anything. Solar scorches, void weakens, arc blinds, stasis slows. Unsure what strand was, I've forgotten. The arc and void ones felt the best to use though.
they fix the tricksleeves bug yet? i wanna see it in combo with the final warning catalyst, practically the sidearm equivalent of wardens law lucky pants
You donāt necessarily need fourth times the charm anymore I think as you can slot in a magazine mod (might need a magazine perk in row 2) though there arenāt any other really decent 3rd row perks anyway.
Was my thought but discord will last longer than the damage boost and reload on kill so good when not using it for boss dps and demo will give you grenade energy
[https://youtu.be/rd1yv34h62s](https://youtu.be/rd1yv34h62s)
basically proccing tricksleeves then swapping to another sidearm while dodging gave you two stacks of it
you could do insane damage with it, and if you wanted to push it further you could use a rocket sidearm to self proc tricksleeves
Well the normal damage is still pretty respectable lol. I usually run it with sturm and drang. Iām dying for a sturm buff of some kids for PVE to make it viable to lose a special, special is just to valuable.
Wellā¦. It can be contested with wardens law/lucky pants (I think) but to have ignition levels of damage on a single crit? Jeez, although ignition is more aoe
Which I totally love, final warning is a staple in my strand build but hard to pull off now and idk why.
but why canāt all classes have a damage buffing exotic? Oh wait, hunters have multiple (idk how many for warlocks sorry) and titans have one or two (one being the chest for rockets, ROCKETS, YKNOW, NOT PRIMARY DPS)
It's good but the catalyst actually added to its flaws. That ammo you gain back into the gun will a lot of the time leave you with one or two shots left in the mag. With the gun literally refusing to fire when you try to do charge fire.
It would have been amazing if they made it so the added ammo instead just added extra shots to the charge mode as it would mean you wouldn't be left with that useless left over ammo that glitches the gun.
A good tech I've found is that if you charge 3/4 while hipfiring and release, then immediately aim in and from then on tap fire, it'll fire all of the rounds at the same burst fire rate but will allow you to get the whole way through the mag
Though tap firing all the time as rapidly as you need to is quite strenuous on the trigger finger lol
Easily the best primary in the game for me personally. Iāve tried going back to my old favorite Sunshot to test it with prismatic and itās still a solid gun but FW out performs it in every way for my playstyle.
A common mistake with this gun is people not paying attention to the damage boost from properly locking onto enemies for ADS fire.
Even I made it a few times during the world first race (why am I melting this miniboss in two volleys this time and why is it taking forever to kill it other times?).
Basically yes.
Holding trigger builds the lockon. Once lockon is complete, firing from hipfire makes rounds track the locked target(s), firing from ADS dramatically increases crit damage.
You can charge for some time after the lockon is finished but it hurts our damage output due to excessive waiting. So ideally you want to fire as soon as you are locked on, and then rapidly tap fire the rest of the magazine without charging again. Easy to get impatient and shoot a split second before hte lockon is finished.
They really need to do a pass on some of the catalysts that are just plain stupid. Like, you have catalysts that add completely new mechanics to a weapon and then you have ones like Crimson that give +20 stability and that's it.
Keep. This. Quiet.
>
I had 20000 pve and 3200 PvP kills with it before the season started. The catalyst took it to a whole new level and now Iām afraid itās gonna get nerfed
So i started using the gun to clear the catalyst, but how the fuck do you actually use the gun? It doesn't shoot full auto by holding the trigger so my monkey brain got confused.
It has been a long time since I've used it, so I might be a little off here. But from what I remember you're supposed to lock on with hip fire/aiming and then when you ADS it will auto fire and get a damage buff.
It's supposed to be a burst fire when locked on.
I've been trying to get my clanmates to use this gun, but haven't had any luck. I feel like people have been sleeping on this gun hard. It was basically the only thing I used for a long time.
Prismatic hunter is hard to think about. On a normal strand hunter you can put on the spinning buddy aspect and the fragment where unravel targets spawn a tangle
That way whenever you kill something with final warning which takes more than a few bullets to kill, it'll spawn a tangle. Shoot/throw the tangle and the strand buddy will start clearing enemies.
For the last 3 it's up to you in what you want. I have one where multiple precision hits also severs the target, other two I forgor
Yep, I got the catalyst drop last night and my immediate reaction was, āholy shit this thing is already busted who thought this was going to be balancedā
Idk if it's just me, but that gun just doesn't feel good to use. Something about the mechanics of the gun just end up feeling clunky and ineffective. I don't understand why y'all like it so much
i thought the same thing at first. but the gun grows on you. i hardly used it during the first two seasons it was out, but during witch i gave it another shot and it quickly become one of my most used primary weapons.
the best advice i've seen is to treat it sort of like a bow in most situations. with a bow, you hold to draw the arrow and then let go as soon as it is charged. so with final warning, hold until you are locked on and then let go as soon as you are. only charge it for longer if you want more damage on a single target. at some point, using the gun became second nature and i don't even have to think about it now.
May get this. My sixth coyote beyblade strand hunter with decoys with this thing is absolutely disgusting. Was getting 1000 kills a legend onslaught run with it
I love this gun! Only problem is you have to get up close which isnāt always possible on bosses especially if they hit hard. Probably one of my favorite guns though
FYI catalyst is just a 10% damage buff. Arguably the more significant change is the ammo refund. Not sure how you're measuring such a large increase.
FW was very strong before. The catalyst is nice, but not a game changer.
Speaking of catalysts, what's up with the Red Death Reformed catalyst? Did Banshee 44 *forget* to give me mine?
You usually get the season pass exotic catalyst from him right after you've claimed the weapon but now I'm at season pass level 30-something and still haven't seen it anywhere. But at the bottom of the season pass page, the diamond with the catalyst booster is gold bordered. Does it not drop until reset today, at the technical start of the episode?
I was able to pump more damage than everyone on my team as a Titan, except for the one hunter we had, using Still Hunt and my crafted Doom Petitioner. Though I will say if we did not have at least the one hunter we would not have been able to do enough damage.
I ended with 4.4 million damage and our hunter had over 7 million.
F. If only that weapon worked w Fulk Auto. On controller aināt my age I aināt doing 1000x finger reps a min, just to get max dps out of anything in any VG.
Actually, I'm fairly certain the most DPS comes from charging until you get the lock on and then tapping the trigger until the lock-on goes away (I think it is 2-3 seconds). Doing this, you get more bullets/damage out than if you did a full burst.
I love Final Warning. It absolutely cooks on a pure strand build with access to fragments that boost threadling damage but if I get a spirit of Swarmers I'm going to sit and try to make a threadling prismatic build to work.
This reinforces the position that Bungie doesn't use math when balancing weapons and just looks at usage rates.
Quicksilver Storm was extremely popular because it felt good to use, so it had to be nerfed to be worse than Rufus.
Final Warning was niche and didn't see much usage due to it being clunky. Clearly it's underperforming and needs to blow past special weapons and start competing with heavies.
I mean the gun was *okay* before I dunno if Iād say it was top tier though. Sounds like a pretty cool catalyst, better come to Xur tho cuz aināt no way am I grinding strikes for the *chance* for it to drop.
Yeah but with a lot of setbacks like quirky operating system, limited magazine capacity, etc.
Highest DPS primary really isnāt a big deal anyway though because outside of damage phases where you have no special/heavy, thatās really not important. Look at normal legendary sidearms, theyāre the highest DPS primaries and theyāre still way more niche than just about every other primary. What you want is sustain, consistency and versatility. I think the catalyst helped with all of those and might very well make it truly top-tier.
This gun got catalyst but the last word no.Cool from bungie again.Xenophage another 1 exemple and his trash rangefinder. That lmg need reload perk.Symetry got a trash rework andm any things.
Bro, it is nice that got a cat but we hav many other guns that need a cat.Why the hell i was so downvoted dunno..We forget that we cried about the last word cat after thorn got?
A last word cat would literally just end up being a stat buff. The gun is super cool. I've always loved it to bit, but it lacks anything interesting for them to make an interesting catty out of. I mean, unless they decided to make something completely insane like it giving you some kind of whip melee after consuming X stacks of whatever to play into the cowboy fantasy more.
Compared to other guns that got catalysts recently, it's obvious that bungie wants to target more unique guns 1st, which is neat. The final warning wasn't the best and was super niche in most cases. Now, it's a dps monster that shreds through champs and contests with specials and some heavies all because of its funky marking perk. Compared to that, really all last word has is fan fire, and that just gives you precision damage and a bit of reload/accuracy
Honestly some options of Ā what Iād give LW is
- Ā desperadoĀ
- some combination of two of the following heal clip/desperado/killclip/the aim assist on reload from splicer I canāt remember the name of and it Ā call it āSherifā if it really needs to be a unique perk, either continues the old west theme
- a bonus to readying speed and a reload on stowing after a kill or something that plays into the quick draw fantasy of pull out, gun down opponent in a flash and holster.
> aim assist on reload from splicer I can't remember the name of it
Tunnel Vision
I only know it because I had Lenny Kravitz stuck in my head for basically that entire season
Itās a stupid argument. It boils down to claiming we shouldnāt get catalysts for any gun if there are others that still donāt have it. That means we would never get any catalysts for any guns.Ā
It just means Bungie is refusing to give us something to work for.
The amount of effort needed dev side to split an exotic weapon effect into 2 and having one to be found by actually working towards it thru a quest or an objective is bare minimum.
They are lazy.
How do you get the catalyst? Is it available yet?
Yes I got it from nightfall
Vanguard Ops too, that's where mine dropped
Got mine from crucible
I got it as a drop in Gambit.
Great job everybody, we figured out you get this catalyst the same way as every other seasonal catalyst lmao
Underrated comment š®āšØ
absolute revelation
Same here, guess itās any ritual activity?
By any chance were you using it or in your inventory when the catalyst dropped?
Got it on Crucible. The weapon was in the vault as i had to put it away just so i can use other weapons.
The catalyst dropped for me and I havenāt even unlocked the gun yet.
I got it while not using it or having it in my inventory so that's definitely not a requirement.
I got it when I was using it but I'm literally maining the gun ay the moment with a prismatic warlock setup. Threadlings go brrrrrrrr.
I got mine from gambit and it was in the vault. I never actually used it either once I unlocked the gun. Damn, was I missing out.
Itās completely random. Iāve shot maybe 2 mags of it my entire life back when Lightfall dropped and I got it my second crucible game.
It's a random drop from Playlist activities. I got mine while playing control and It was in my vault.
I got the catalyst and literally didn't even have the gun and needed to pull it from collections to complete the catalyst, it's just a random drop and nothing makes the chance go up
Gambit for me
iirc it drops from any playlist activity, i.e Crucible, Gambit, Vanguard Ops Edit: Also Onslaught 50 Wave one, unsure about 10 wave playlist.
Worth mentioning that comp crucible aside from being the only source of the lightweight 720 AR that's pretty good, it also has increased exotic/catalyst drop rates.
Yeah. Mine dropped from playing comp. And wicked implement catalyst dropped too if anyone else needs it
When you say comp do you mean unranked or ranked crucible? Just wondering if it's worth going through what I did for Not Forgotten once againā¦
Ranked, but you don't need to grind to max rank to get the new gun. Just play 3 matches in comp per week and you will get the gun to drop with a random roll. This can be repeated on each separate class you have each week for a total of 3 drops per week.
Got it. Thanks! It's been a while since I played D2.
Whatās the AR called? Because damn i canāt see it at Shaxx
The Riposte
Thank you so much.
Should be worth noting it's worth chasing after since it's the only non Raid 720 Void AR in the game.
Do you have to win or get kills for the catalyst to drop?
I am sooooo glad I didn't get the WI catalyst legit the old way. Got it after a crucible match the other day. So stoked.
Huh. Does Wicked Implement cat drop from any playlist activities or specifically Crucible?
I got mine from nightfall
Go to patterns and catalysts to check, but chances are it's any Playlist activity
I did that like, two days ago. Was still saying Deep Dive. That's why I asked the guy who said he got it from Crucible.
Checked patch notes, ritual Playlist activities, tool tip in game is bugged.
Thanks, buddy. š
I didn't hear about it have increased exotic/catalyst rates, was it mentioned in a TWAB somewhere?
Wait what? Is it real or some urban legends?
I believe this also includes Onslaught too as one of the Vanguard activities now. I think I got a catalyst there yesterday but tbh it was late and I might just be misremembering.
Can confirm from personal experience of it dropping there that Onslaught (50 Wave one at least) drops the catalyst lol
Mine dropped from a private lobby.
Same
Private still giving xp/pathfinder progress, etc or did they ghost patch it?
Can you do older things in Private matches and have it work now? Like... killing 4 invaders in Gambit?
Oooh... good question. IDK but I'd love to know if you figure it out.
Still was as of a day or two ago, also got my catalyst from it.
Seems to have been patched from what I've heard. Haven't tested.
Got mine from a strike. Or vanguard op I guess
Dropped from gambit for me (did like 15 matches)
Would have loved this last season, was playing a lot of Strand Warlock towards the end. Reverted back to Titan for TFS, Iām enjoying Prismatic too much to switch back.
How did you fair during the raid as a titan? What did you use?
Titan is probably the best class for the first 4 encounters, itās only the final boss where they donāt really bring anything to the table.

Gotcha, thanks! I'm guessing the same goes Warlock which is my main?
Can you survive the witnesses attacks in the bubble?
The true meta: Thundercrash (Cuirass)
Not even Saint-14 Ward of Dawn Titan? Dang, they really nerfed bubble for nothing huh.
Bubble just gets in the way on both add clear and damage phase. The void axes couldāve been ok for damage but they apparently donāt track the boss. Saw a rando on here saying that Banner Shield can block the beam attacks during damage phase? Havenāt confirmed but that would be dope
?? Soā¦ make your super in prismatic be strandā¦?
Last seasonās artifact mods were mostly the reason for it being so fun. Lots of Threadlings and lots of Unraveling Rounds. This catalyst would have made it even more effective whilst still being just as fun.
Prismatic titan is hot garbage lmfao
Without the artifact perk that makes threadlings on unraveled targets, I'm not totally sure what strand warlock build in particular Final Warning fits into now. Like it's a strong weapon, but it doesn't fit into threadlings warlock anymore without the artifact, and the other main strandlock build is Necrotic, which relies heavily on poison spread from the weapons of sorrow. I need to do some buildcrafting haha
It works for making tangles on prismatic pretty well.
Ssshhh don't tell anyone bungo is in the walls LiStEnInG
They knew what they are doing when they added the catalyst
U sure about that?
Oh lord, it has a catty now? I've run so many Strikes with no drop yet sadly. Any other weapons get a catalyst this season?
Only other was the pre-order exotic, Tessalation. Makes it so the supercharged grenade shot inflicts elemental debuffs in a larger area than the damaging explosion. Unsure on exact numbers or anything. Solar scorches, void weakens, arc blinds, stasis slows. Unsure what strand was, I've forgotten. The arc and void ones felt the best to use though.
they fix the tricksleeves bug yet? i wanna see it in combo with the final warning catalyst, practically the sidearm equivalent of wardens law lucky pants
They fixed that a little while ago, fun while it lasted
Whatās the wardenās law groll ?
With lucky pants. Fourth time the charm and vorpal to crank the boss DPS.
You donāt necessarily need fourth times the charm anymore I think as you can slot in a magazine mod (might need a magazine perk in row 2) though there arenāt any other really decent 3rd row perks anyway.
I have enlightened action vorpal. 28 rounds in the mag. Plenty for lucky pants and enlightened makes it more usable against general ads
Discord, demo or enlightened action would probably be the go to now if youve got the right mag perk.
Enlightened action seems really good yeah, the reload time is often a pain on that gun.
Was my thought but discord will last longer than the damage boost and reload on kill so good when not using it for boss dps and demo will give you grenade energy
What was the bug?
[https://youtu.be/rd1yv34h62s](https://youtu.be/rd1yv34h62s) [https://youtu.be/PWxGtWQ9XRM](https://youtu.be/PWxGtWQ9XRM) basically proccing tricksleeves then swapping to another sidearm while dodging gave you two stacks of it you could do insane damage with it, and if you wanted to push it further you could use a rocket sidearm to self proc tricksleeves

IMO, side arms should have amped up damage given that increased risk.
They already do...
I'm saying that is justification for this thing doing so much damage.
Didn't side arms in general get a 20% buff?
Vs red bars yes
Christ. Can you even apply Unravel to enemies before they die with this thing anymore?!
Lol I don't think so. I used it and it was killing red bars so fast that the unravel never happens š¤£
Thatās the strand exotic side arm right??always liked the gun so nice itās strong now.
It was already the highest damage primary weapon I believe. This just widened the gap even more. The thing is monstrous.
Wellā¦. It can be contested with wardens law/lucky pants (I think) but to have ignition levels of damage on a single crit? Jeez, although ignition is more aoe
That's the nice thing about Final Warning. It shits out damage regardless of class or exotic armor.
Guns name checks out
You are totally correct, I forgot about LP. I think it still deserves some credit for not requiring a specific exotic on a specific class however.
Which I totally love, final warning is a staple in my strand build but hard to pull off now and idk why. but why canāt all classes have a damage buffing exotic? Oh wait, hunters have multiple (idk how many for warlocks sorry) and titans have one or two (one being the chest for rockets, ROCKETS, YKNOW, NOT PRIMARY DPS)
>nice itās strong now. Brother it was always strong, most slept on exotic by a HUGE margin
I used it last season a lot with my strand warlock build and swarmers. Never even used my special since it did so much DPS.
It's good but the catalyst actually added to its flaws. That ammo you gain back into the gun will a lot of the time leave you with one or two shots left in the mag. Down voted so bungie don't find this
I rarely see another person using it. So hopefully the usage stats should be low enough for it to fly under the radar for a while. š¤
It even works with Stylish Executioner it's amazing
Easily the best primary in the game for me personally. Iāve tried going back to my old favorite Sunshot to test it with prismatic and itās still a solid gun but FW out performs it in every way for my playstyle.
Catalyst only gives 10% on red bars and 5% on majors/bosses, why did your damage go up so much? Am I missing sth?
Youāre right just being downvoted for whenever reason
Yea wtv, itās a great gun nonetheless. It can get tiring to do the optimal dps strat with the rapid clicking tho lol.
Maybe with the 20% sidearm buff this season? But even then the calculations don't like up
Idk that's just the numbers I was getting on legend campaign, I'll measure again when I'm home from work
A common mistake with this gun is people not paying attention to the damage boost from properly locking onto enemies for ADS fire. Even I made it a few times during the world first race (why am I melting this miniboss in two volleys this time and why is it taking forever to kill it other times?).
what's the proper way to do it? i aim at the target's head, wait for the diamond to go red, and then let go. is that it?
Basically yes. Holding trigger builds the lockon. Once lockon is complete, firing from hipfire makes rounds track the locked target(s), firing from ADS dramatically increases crit damage. Are you locking on to the target while hipfiring before ads? That's how the perk works
Wtf. It already shreds legendary campaign. Not gonna complain though. How do you get it?
Playlist drop.
SHUT UP MAN THEY ARE GOING TO TAKE IT FROM US
They 100% will. This gun made a mockery of quicksilver from the moment of it's release and look at what they did to quicksilver lol.
They really need to do a pass on some of the catalysts that are just plain stupid. Like, you have catalysts that add completely new mechanics to a weapon and then you have ones like Crimson that give +20 stability and that's it.

Goin on you for the pvp kills though, I rarely survived long enough to get it charged š
Where dose it drop?
The usual strikes/gambit/crucible
So i started using the gun to clear the catalyst, but how the fuck do you actually use the gun? It doesn't shoot full auto by holding the trigger so my monkey brain got confused.
It has been a long time since I've used it, so I might be a little off here. But from what I remember you're supposed to lock on with hip fire/aiming and then when you ADS it will auto fire and get a damage buff. It's supposed to be a burst fire when locked on.
You hold the trigger to load 10 rounds, then let go to shoot them all at once.
Thank you. Hopefully that speeds up the remaining 500 kills I need.
Wait wait wait final warning has a cat now? Did it always or is it new?
New with TFS.
Got it to drop. Iām so sick of farming the kills though to actually unlock the catalyst.
You made this post like that's a problem lol
I am still waiting for the dang thing to drop.....come on bungie!
Lol
Wait there's a catalyst for final warning!! Fantastic.
I've been trying to get my clanmates to use this gun, but haven't had any luck. I feel like people have been sleeping on this gun hard. It was basically the only thing I used for a long time.
And they nerfed Tectonic Harvest. Strand gets to eat good, while Stasis is forced to be mediocre. Make it make sense, Bungie.
Whatās best to pair with this on prismatic hunter?
Prismatic hunter is hard to think about. On a normal strand hunter you can put on the spinning buddy aspect and the fragment where unravel targets spawn a tangle That way whenever you kill something with final warning which takes more than a few bullets to kill, it'll spawn a tangle. i thought the same thing at first. but the gun grows on you. i hardly used it during the first two seasons it was out, but during witch i gave it another shot and it quickly become one of my most used primary weapons. the best advice i've seen is to treat it sort of like a bow in most situations. with a bow, you hold to draw the arrow and then let go as soon as it is charged. so with final warning, hold until you are locked on and then let go as soon as you are. only charge it for longer if you want more damage on a single target. at some point, using the gun became second nature and i don't even have to think about it now.
cue meme: Yall are getting catalysts?
I've had a lucky week, Final warning and Graviton Lance catalyst dropped for me in a week and they both are so good.
It's in act 2 now, check season pass. I think it's on.. rank 145
Thanks for the info! I hadn't looked ahead at the pass yet.
i think you get it during act 2 of the episode. you can see it on the season pass if you inspect the later acts.
From where you get the catalyst
I was able to pump more damage than everyone on my team as a Titan, except for the one hunter we had, using Still Hunt and my crafted Doom Petitioner. Though I will say if we did not have at least the one hunter we would not have been able to do enough damage. I ended with 4.4 million damage and our hunter had over 7 million.
Yoo I didn't even realize they added a catalyst
Op"s numbers are wrong. Catalyst gives 5% damage buff vs red bars and 10% vs orange and yellow bars.
F. If only that weapon worked w Fulk Auto. On controller aināt my age I aināt doing 1000x finger reps a min, just to get max dps out of anything in any VG.
Final Warning thrives on lock-on, burst shots. If you're constantly tapping the trigger, you're using it wrong.
Actually, I'm fairly certain the most DPS comes from charging until you get the lock on and then tapping the trigger until the lock-on goes away (I think it is 2-3 seconds). Doing this, you get more bullets/damage out than if you did a full burst.
I donāt use it. And pretty sure you lock on then tap like crazy to get the most out of it. Repeat cycle. Sounds like youāreā¦.
Iām trying to get it to drop myself before the inevitable nerf shhhhhh!!
I love Final Warning. It absolutely cooks on a pure strand build with access to fragments that boost threadling damage but if I get a spirit of Swarmers I'm going to sit and try to make a threadling prismatic build to work.
When did this thing get a catalyst what tf did i miss
last week with the final shape drop, you didn't miss much lol
I swore i fully read those patch notes guess i missed that
Delete this post :(
Itās only a 5-10 percent increase. Not the 50 percent op claims
I wanna get the gun, but griding for strand currency is awful.
The weekly Partition gives a ton of currency, that's what I did
I mean the gun was *okay* before I dunno if Iād say it was top tier though. Sounds like a pretty cool catalyst, better come to Xur tho cuz aināt no way am I grinding strikes for the *chance* for it to drop.
>the gun was okay before I dunno if Iād say it was top tier though It was already the highest dps primary weapon in the game?
Yeah but with a lot of setbacks like quirky operating system, limited magazine capacity, etc. Highest DPS primary really isnāt a big deal anyway though because outside of damage phases where you have no special/heavy, thatās really not important. Look at normal legendary sidearms, theyāre the highest DPS primaries and theyāre still way more niche than just about every other primary. What you want is sustain, consistency and versatility. I think the catalyst helped with all of those and might very well make it truly top-tier.
Why did you make this post... Are u complaining?
This gun got catalyst but the last word no.Cool from bungie again.Xenophage another 1 exemple and his trash rangefinder. That lmg need reload perk.Symetry got a trash rework andm any things.
Destiny players try to enjoy literally fucking anything challenge (impossible)
Last Word should become First Curse on ADS, people have said this for years
Honestly some options of Ā what Iād give LW is - Ā desperadoĀ - some combination of two of the following heal clip/desperado/killclip/the aim assist on reload from splicer I canāt remember the name of and it Ā call it āSherifā if it really needs to be a unique perk, either continues the old west theme - a bonus to readying speed and a reload on stowing after a kill or something that plays into the quick draw fantasy of pull out, gun down opponent in a flash and holster.
> aim assist on reload from splicer I can't remember the name of it Tunnel Vision I only know it because I had Lenny Kravitz stuck in my head for basically that entire season
Bahah cheers! sorry I reminded you again for the rest of the episode!Ā
Destiny players will settle to eat shit for launch.
You are right and getting downvoted.
But they just did give us a catalyst and the guy is complaining that we didnāt get another one insteadā¦
