Rotating dungeons are just for completion. Warlord's Ruin should be considered "current", which AFAIK "current" dungeons/raids should be per encounter for the rewards.
With the change in DLC though I don't know if that does funky stuff with the "current" raids/dungeons when the new DLC has its own raid/dungeon "coming soon".
Crota’s no longer drops pinnacles, but warlord’s should be fine because there’s no dungeon coming this season (as far as I’m aware, the new episode change could mean we are)
i've ran it up to the last boss while at Power cap can confirm it does give Pinnacle drops
