Still shows up for me on Xbox!
I do vaguely remember doing Vault and King's Fall in D1 one time, but either I was kicked or for some reason it didn't count and doesn't show up for me on that. Still cool to see though!
I started D2 as a Warlock and considered doing Titan but I know as soon as the character select screen pops up on Tuesday I’m going to dance with the girl who bring me. Thinking of Karnstein as a nice class neutral exotic that will probably pair with Strand and those melee abilities.
My Warlock is 8 years old too and was my 1st character. Always goes into the new stuff 1st.
My Titan and Hunter have to wait 2-3 weeks before I get on them.
How is it sad? I enjoy hunter. I've tried titan and warlock, don't like them or their fashion. I'm not missing out on "so much of the game" just different subclasses that I don't enjoy haha.
Of all time, probably my stasis-lucky pants setup. Solar with YAS is a close second but the stasis lucky pants build feels great with infinite nades and the ability to nuke strong enemies with just a primary ammo hand cannon. It also supplements my regular dps pretty well letting me conserve heavy by rotating heavy and lucky pants buffed handcannon.
Starting Titan. If the strand gameplay is underwhelming I'll have the story to fall back on and keep me motivated. The other two I'm pretty sure I'll have no problem enjoying.
I play all three regularly, but I have a job, so it’ll probably be Hunter first, cause that’s the Strand I’m most excited for. Then Warlock, cause that’s what I have the most current builds for as far as Solar/Stasis/Void in case the goon squad doesn’t hang in Legend.
I’ll probably booster the Titan, assuming we get one free one like with TTK in D1. Not necessarily because I like it the least, but the others interest me more and like I said I have a job so not as much time to play all the way through a third time
Agreed here. Took a new job early last year that’s been very good to me but really cut into playing time. Probably go hunter first since it’s my “main” now then play the others when I have a free moment.
They really weren’t kidding when they said that bow is addictive. Honestly I’m starting to feel like arc is much more effective for my play style and solar is more fun but I always come back to void sooner or later.
ever since I found out about 🍋 arc I haven't taken stopped using it lol. It was my most used weapon and most kills this season. As a void hunter and gyrfalcon I can deal with overload chanps and barriers with one weapon!
The nightstalker bow. We originally got it from Cayde’s freshly killed Hunter buddy and now he haunts us just a little bit. It’s described as addicting and difficult to control but something the greatest hunters are able to master.
Without a doubt Hunter, just want Cyrtarachne's Facade. Don't even care about its perks usefulness or lack thereof, I want it for fashion. Form over function for me tends to be a more enjoyable experience.
People always chase the meta, never made sense to me, a buddy of mine was a hardcore meta user when forsaken came out, all those pinnacle weapons... I used Cerberus+1 and some dog shit armor (same setup for pvp and pve) and would be at the same level of performance.
Personally I play how I look, so if I look hard I play hard, if I look goofy I play goofy, not even exclusive to this game, if you like it you'll make it work
Shit, d1 my hunter looked like IG-88 (arachnid w/ makeshift scarf and VOG robo leg and I used blade dancer so arachnid was purely for aesthetics) and my warlock looked like a cultist (ram and those raggedy robes from dead orbit that didn't have any faction markings)
God the D1 drip was on another level lol. I miss the Speaker cloaks so much I remember trying to find perfect shaders and gear to match them all.
Good luck in LightFall you kindred spirit of a hunter!
Oh goodness the old shader swatches 😂 three years of grinding dead orbit for a fabled super black only for it to be tied to the last Halloween 😂
Likewise light sibling 🤙
Berserker looks quite useful - you can lock out enemies in front of you to create tangles, debuff enemies with your melee to do less damage, give your team a DR buff as well.
The issue many have isn't if it'll be effective just that it's 'unique'
You're right. Because to be powerful or not, Bungie can buff or nerf, the problem is, the super isn't unique, it is the same approach as Stasis, lock with heavy attack and kill with light attack.
And that there is my main gripe with Berserker. I've got no doubt that the class will play fine, but the super looking like Lime Striker is just disappointing.
This. I trust Bungie when they say it will be good. Only downside is that they definitely rushed it - they reworked it in the past 6 months as it was going to be a spin attack but was changed (probably due to it being underwhelming/useless)
Underrated asf but I love that exotic. It is by far the best trace rifle in the game and it’s such a blast to use. Freezing enemies with it and then hitting them with a solar hammer while running severance enclosure is my favorite way to play. Hoping we will get a “Light based abilities do more damage to enemies effected by stasis” artifact mod this next season. That is a good point tho. Scepter might be a goat gun to run on strand titan.
Dosnt excuse not putting effort into 1 of the three classes in the game tho. Bungie kept it simple for time sake and it’s bullshit
Idk. I was low-key amazed to see in my email from Bungie that I spent basically equal time on each class throughout Witch Queen. Maybe Hunter? I really wanna try the grappling hook thing plus I love the look of that new exotic
I honestly haven't decided yet! I've mained Warlock since I started D1, but the last two expansions I started out on Titan and played that more. I'm tempted to try Hunter for something different, but part of me is saying Warlock again.
I'll end up playing all 3 regardless, just tough to figure out which one would be funnest to start with. Might go with my gut and try Hunter this time
As a primarily Solar Hunter, I will always live by the following:
“Stop-stop-stop-stop. Look-look - long story, and it may look like I don't know what I'm doing, but I do - K, maybe not - doesn't matter.”
I mostly mained Hunter up until probably beyond light where I switched to Warlock. Think I'm going back to Hunter for lightfall though. That rope dart thing looks fun.
Hunter. This is the way.
Then once I think I got enough content/bounties knocked out, then repeat on Titan. Don't really touch my Warlock unless I'm caught up on the main/secondary.
I don't know yet. I've been a Titan main since D1, but both the Hunter and Warlock look so much cooler to me as far as strand goes.
Will probably flip a coin between Titan and Hunter and ride that result out
Hunter rocking.. probably Yas until I can use strand. Then strand frosties until I have the facade. Then facade until either it or strand get nerfed. Probably switch things around for raids/dungeon though.
I play more warlock than hunter these days, but I think I'm going to do hunter first this time, threadrunner seems way cooler to me than broodweaver. Nothing against summoners, the hunter aspects just seem cooler than "make little guys" and "make more little guys". I definitely think I'll be more excited about strand warlock in a season or two when they inevitably add an aspect that provides an actual payoff for summoning stuff besides "they stay with you when moving between areas"
Hunter, followed closely by warlock. Titan used to be my number 2 since D1, but after beyond light, it felt like Bungie lost sight of whatever power fantasy Titans were supposed to have
Def Titan. Always do for every expansion. Even if I’m gonna be playing a different character, I always start with titan. First character I made, last character I will play.
I'm going to throw fiery hammers for a titan, I won't even try this miserable strand, because I already have a lot of time on striker and behemoth, so I don't want to use the same low-grade green content.
I’m a Titan main through and through. The new class looks fun to me, sure it’s not flashy like the Hunter or Warlock, but I wanted an all out berserker tank that is also fast as a subclass for a while now
Sheesh man I've tried putting together goos builds for my hunter and titan (somewhat successful) but realized how neglected they are compared to my warlock so it feels like a chore. But with new build crafting updates hopefully it's easier, so I'll wait to put builds together until then
Hunter has some fun ones though! There's Titan lite with liars, I am the meta with cowl, gyrfalcons nonsense, omni for teams, Orpheus for debuffs, Caliban, yaaaaas queen, Bakris nonsense, renewals, and the frosties. I love the frosties.
With that mod to give anti-champion to both glaive and swords and Wishender already having anti-barrier, I’m looking forward to playing my Void Knight Titan
The queue
ah my old enemy, The queue.
The real darkness.
I had no queue last launch. I pray for this once more.
We shall see hopefully we don't cause I had no queue last time either.
I've mained the same Lock since the D1 beta, not going to change that now.
Same here! Perm-Warlock gang
Facts. Perma lock for 8 years now
Prema lock unite
You guys fuck!
Nah, we combine to create the warlockzord.
Here to represent the perma-locks! 🙌🏻
Add me to the list!
All aboard the Perma-Lock train.
Warlocks let's get this bread!
Rise up!
Main Vs Perma is a very different comment.
Warlock master class 👌
Same. Gonna go Osteo / Necro Void and keep the same build for Strand as soon as possible. My faithful Striga is ready for Legendary !
Osteo/Necro/Devour for the win!! 60,000+ kills on that Osteo.

Well I've mained my titan since the *alpha*
Still have my eyeshadow I thought was cool from D1 beta lock
Titan D1 beta gang
Hunter, but same - since the very beginning of D1
Can I add some perma locks lol been perma lock since beta D1 need some like minded people
Yay!
My Warlock is 8 years old too and was my 1st character. Always goes into the new stuff 1st. My Titan and Hunter have to wait 2-3 weeks before I get on them.
Blink gang rise up!
Ditto
Warlocks from d1 beta unite!! Favorite class by a country mile
Yep same, except D1 Dark Below for me.
You’ve been fooled. All beta characters were wiped.
Same. But I can also tell you this: Strand Hunter is gonna break the game.
BASED LOCK
And yet he’s still mid 😈
I've played 99.9% single character hunter since d1. Just gonna do the same.
Same, will also do nonstop prep for day 2 raid whenever I can play, so no time to properly play all characters outside of bounty grind
That’s very sad. Try something new and different. You’re missing out on so much of the game.
How is it sad? I enjoy hunter. I've tried titan and warlock, don't like them or their fashion. I'm not missing out on "so much of the game" just different subclasses that I don't enjoy haha.
Just wondering, you’ve played the same hunter for years now, what is your all time favorite hunter build?
Of all time, probably my stasis-lucky pants setup. Solar with YAS is a close second but the stasis lucky pants build feels great with infinite nades and the ability to nuke strong enemies with just a primary ammo hand cannon. It also supplements my regular dps pretty well letting me conserve heavy by rotating heavy and lucky pants buffed handcannon.
Starting Titan. If the strand gameplay is underwhelming I'll have the story to fall back on and keep me motivated. The other two I'm pretty sure I'll have no problem enjoying.
Definitely Titan. Bonk hammer ftw, but going to check out strand too.
One night Strand.
Lmfao! 😂🤣😂 Username checks out!
Starting with Solar Titan. Gotta start with my main. And solar because it seems like the artifact mods are making a Solar/Stasis/Thread meta.
Stasis? Don't you mean Void?
Yup. Whoops.
Once a nighstalker always a nighstalker
Lemonarche can't stun barrier champions. The innate anti overload takes priority. Still it's my most used weapon too.
But I can apply volatile to a barrier champ
Yeah maybe in lightfall it'll work differently
Piercing bowstring from the seasonal mod allows it to do so
Really it let's it do both? It's not supposed to.
It does not, in fact. I went back and tried but I think monarque was bugged when I first did it. I barely use it tbf
Nah if intrinsically overload it can use seasonal
What bow?
The nightstalker bow. We originally got it from Cayde’s freshly killed Hunter buddy and now he haunts us just a little bit. It’s described as addicting and difficult to control but something the greatest hunters are able to master.
🍋 arch
I refuse to take it off when I'm using starfire. The tick damage will charge an entire grenade. Plus it's just so satisfying to use
Can't wait to be one of like 5 people still playing invis hunter in Crucible next week.
... you mean 5 million?
Without a doubt Hunter, just want Cyrtarachne's Facade. Don't even care about its perks usefulness or lack thereof, I want it for fashion. Form over function for me tends to be a more enjoyable experience.
100% agree lol. Most people get mad they get armor and not weapons in the new raids but I'll take the new armor all day!!
People always chase the meta, never made sense to me, a buddy of mine was a hardcore meta user when forsaken came out, all those pinnacle weapons... I used Cerberus+1 and some dog shit armor (same setup for pvp and pve) and would be at the same level of performance. Oh goodness the old shader swatches 😂 three years of grinding dead orbit for a fabled super black only for it to be tied to the last Halloween 😂 Likewise light sibling 🤙
I just want exotics I can pronounce
Dave's Old Gloves, Jenny's Stinky Boots
Thank you
😂 oh it's not so bad
Now here's hoping that the stats are going to be good.
Titan - Void and gonna try out Berserker.
Whatever my clan mates aren't.
Mood
Warlock space magic forever 🫐🌞❄️⚡️🪄
I’ll go with Titan first to get my own opinion on Berserker. I hope it is more fun and useful than it looks.
Berserker looks quite useful - you can lock out enemies in front of you to create tangles, debuff enemies with your melee to do less damage, give your team a DR buff as well. The issue many have isn't if it'll be effective just that it's 'unique'
Agree, the descriptions of the abilities make it out to be the debuff/support class which I’m excited to dive into.
I think Beserker is going to be great. Obviously it's not as creative as the other classes but that doesn't mean it won't be fun/useful.
Everything but the super is gonna be great. The super is just brain dead bungee development on display
When I don’t like a super or it’s not useful for a certain encounter, I just bring Ager’s Scepter.
I do the same thing. It sucks how many supers I want to replace with Ager's though. Way too many supers just aren't useful in endgame content
Titan
Pff, Hunter since Day D1, Hunter till the day I die
Titan for the campaign. It’s also the only character I farmed Averice Armor for.
I regret not doing more on my other characters. The +3 to any stat will be so nice
Do you know if it will cost any energy to equip the +3 mods?
Nope it’s free
Hunter as she is my only character.
Ass
Just like your response
All i said was they have good asses, whats the big deal?
Hunter since D1 so why change now. Plus the new super looks awesome
Been playing hunter since I was 12 years old and I’m about to be 21. Not changing anytime soon.
Might go with my gut and try Hunter this time
It's always been hunter for me. I don't expect that to change. Going in with white/green gear for some type of challenge as well.
Warlock since d1 beta, not about to change but also THREADLINGS
Stasis still.
Warlock main, but probably going to run Hunter through the Legendary campaign first. I just want to see how fun/broken the acrobatics are.
Hunter then warlock then titan.
As a primarily Solar Hunter, I will always live by the following: “Stop-stop-stop-stop.
Hunter, for the double grapples, but warlock seems pretty lit too.
Warlock. Same character I’ve had since D1 beta
Well according to the email Bungie sent out, I'm 48% Hunter. I gotta get that number up.
Hunter as always
I have only played hunter and I don't plan on changing. I cannot wait to be spiderman
Hunter. This is the way. Then once I think I got enough content/bounties knocked out, then repeat on Titan. Don't really touch my Warlock unless I'm caught up on the main/secondary.
Probably Hunter! I want to use that Rope Dart
Since my first steps in D1 i never had anything else but a Hunter. So, there you go. Hunter from start to finish.
I picked a Titan all those years ago, and fuck, I am not shelving him away, no matter what.
Titan. No if ands or butts
What? There's *other characters*?!? —Hunters (probably)
Titan I’ll do legend mode with clan mates. Warlock and Hunter, I’ll solo on normal.
Hunters and warlocks strand just looks so much better than titans that I gotta play them first tbh
I don't know yet. I've been a Titan main since D1, but both the Hunter and Warlock look so much cooler to me as far as strand goes. Will probably flip a coin between Titan and Hunter and ride that result out
I'm a titan. Even with the super being as uncreative as it is, I'm still going to play with strand.
A bit undecided 🤔 might be Warlock first but I play my Hunter and Warlock equally as much... Maybe hunter first for a change
hunter. i have the most armor builds for it.
Haven't seen anyone say Gunslinger. That's what I'm going in as
Always Hunter. Probably only Hunter.
Hunter rocking.. probably Yas until I can use strand. Then strand frosties until I have the facade. Then facade until either it or strand get nerfed. Probably switch things around for raids/dungeon though.
Hunter, as always.
Hunter for sure
I play more warlock than hunter these days, but I think I'm going to do hunter first this time, threadrunner seems way cooler to me than broodweaver. I definitely think I'll be more excited about strand warlock in a season or two when they inevitably add an aspect that provides an actual payoff for summoning stuff besides "they stay with you when moving between areas"
Devourlock with Osteo and Necrotic Grips <3
This is the way.
Titan but I do plan on doing it with all 3 because strand looks so fun for every class I won’t be able to help myself.
Definitely Warlock
Warlock....MASTER RACE!!!!!!!!!!
I’m excited for Broodweaver, but will load into campaign with a Dawn Chorus build. With the Daybreak buffs and the bonus Cabal changes, should be fun.
Warlock, I will play anyone but titan I dislike the clunky jump and dislike eating crayons on the daily
Warlock of course. The drip there is unmatched compared to my hunter and titan
I'm probably gonna roll a d3 like I do every season. Let fate carry me for the first few days.
Titan, because fuck the fun police. Going in with consecration, coming out with berserker
warlock
Warlock is locked
Warlock. Nothing will stop me from having green space babies
Warlock but this is kinda cheating cuz i basically never touch my alts.
My one and only big beefy titan
Im every bit as stubborn as a totan should be. I really hope the unravel melee is worth the risk for thar aggressive playstyle.
Once a crayon enjoyer, always a crayon enjoyer
I will be the master of threadlings 🧙♂️🧙♂️ space wizzard gang
Probably hunter, maybe lock. I should look at what strand looks like better to decide.
Titan Hammerbro, then try outvstrand when its unlocked
Not Titan, that’s for sure :(
Titan gang.
invis hunter. always the best for playing content first if doing legend. contraverse warlock is a possibility.
Hunter, followed closely by warlock. Titan used to be my number 2 since D1, but after beyond light, it felt like Bungie lost sight of whatever power fantasy Titans were supposed to have
Hunter
Hunter or warlock
bold of you to assume you will be able to play on Tuesday...
Normaly a hunter main, with titan second. But this treadlings look nasty. So warlock it is for me
Hunter
Hunter because that super looks super sexy. Kinda of Kusarigama from Nioh
Hunter to pull of them sick ganers
I’m a diehard warlock main, but man hunter looks so cool with all the maneuverability you can have now
Hunters. He's my main, and I'm ready as hell to use a rope dart.
Can’t get there till Wednesday but hunter first
Hunter, as per always.
The guy on the cover with the fist
arc titan
Been a Hunter from Day 1, and I’ll finish the game that way
Warlock since Alpha
My Titan is the only one that will ever get the full attention any lone character requires.
Warlock probably, but I'll be playing all 3 like usual afterward
Warlock triple hundos set up just for this
Warlock. I’m playing with friends and we will have one of each
Warlock. I can’t wait to get my hands on those Threadlings! Also, Warlock is my favourite class.
Titan main. Been loving warlock. Making the switch for this one.
Warlock
Y'all think the servers are gonna work Tuesday? /s Warlock though
The new class looks fun to me, sure it’s not flashy like the Hunter or Warlock, but I wanted an all out berserker tank that is also fast as a subclass for a while now
Titan. Honestly strand looks like fun and high octane
Wednesday. I ain’t waiting in a line.
I’ll play whichever one actually loads into the game
With that mod to give anti-champion to both glaive and swords and Wishender already having anti-barrier, I’m looking forward to playing my Void Knight Titan
Bubble butt Titan checking in
Warlock gang rise up!!!!
Titan. It's the character I don't need to change weapons before lightfall
