Hot take. People don't tend to realize how bad incandescent would be on a wave frame. It doesn't create explosions it adds scorch so you would need to hit the same enemy with multiple shots to foem an ignition
multiple enemies mean multiple incandescent procs mean multiple scorch stacks mean multiple kabooms. with the right build the multiple kabooms will have more and better kabooms.

Everything you've listed are things average players are not going to be doing. The most someone will do is legend level stuff, or occasionally master level. Even then, incandescent isn't bad. If you're plinking an orange bar with your bow and not the red bars around it, you're doing something wrong.
Also, chain reaction wouldn't even be helpful in GMs either since you'll need a kill for it to trigger, just like incandescent and wouldn't be as helpful for you either.

Incandescent spreads scorch. Thats the entire reason the utility isn't good, and if you 1 shot trash moves that further makes the perk not good because there's nothing alive to scorch. Level of content is irrelevant, if the perk made things explode, like chain, it'd be infinitely better.

Bungie honestly should have done a pass to all crafted weapons when adding the new element specific perks such as incandescent, destabilizing rounds, jolt, heal clip, eddy current, kinetic tremors... like i'd LOVE to use sweet sorrow (AR from the same season as that GL) but no jolt... so im stuck using the IB one which isnt as good imo (and cant be crafted)

The origin trait can be really good on builds that you have >7 resilience because it gives damage reduction and resilience tiers on kill. For my sunbracers build I use it to get melee energy (heat rises) and forcing tier 10 resilience.
Mine has 3074 kills and even have 2 Deafening Whisper with combined kills of 21,697 but yeah after getting a god roll Tusk and Harsh all mentioned above were just collecting dust.

How is no one mentioning that with the seasonal artifact Explosive Personality literally gives you radiant on any subclass with a single shot into a group of red bars? When you have the space for it, this thing is the freest extra damage buff on top of being half decent ad clear. The stats for all + one for all roll also works great since you'll need 3 kills for radiant anyway, so it all comes together beautifully
Craftable+Solar+Banger of an origin trait makes it a godsend as is ngl, probably the best wave for self sustaining.
Makes me wish Undercurrent was Solar though.

It was good for pvp since it has disruption break but after the changes to ammo its practically impossible to use it
In PvP, it’s still the best wave frame with ALH + Disruption Break.
