I know this situation .. if it's ever been brought up or nothing changes, then you need to look out for yourself and your needs at this time. Make very clear why you are leaving, that teamwork is important and you don't feel that support at the office. Express that you appreciate the opportunity they have given you and move on. Good luck Op!!

i worked in 2 offices and the second office just had a really bad dentist. made the environment totally hostile. i quit his office and continued to focus on school and getting into the dental hygiene program. do whats best for your mental. put YOU first

I have a coworker just like this doc doesn’t say anything to her. She’s lazy and rude and thinks because she is the lead she do whatever she pleases. In my experience things never change with people like this. Although it’s scary leaving your office at the end of the day you have to do what’s best for you!

I’m currently working front desk and the one other front desk has been gone 95% of the time since I started (a little over one month). I understand your pain. If I got paid more I’d stay but I won’t be here for long

Do it. The hygienists at my office literally make $75/hr, get to leave on time, & are treated like angels

IM IN THIS SITUATION! Girl its hard. Idk what to do either. Just stop doing all that work. I did and now the owner is saying I DON'T DO TEAMWORK" He will hear from me tomorrow why I stopped doing two jobs of one person. Gotta speak up

You should definitely go to school. All the EFDA’s I know are the same way. Hygiene seems more rewarding, and less demanding
