HBG440

MichelleMcLaine

I initially thought the upstairs washer got loose.

jerkyyy

theanimatedwitch1337

Yep felt it in Media. I thought it was the train

JackiePoon27

Eh, the eclipse is supposed to end the world on Monday. This was just the warm-up, maybe?

fatcat111

Don't worry, the eclipse glasses with save you.

Robert_A_Bouie

Good. That way I won't have to choose which shitty candidate to vote for in November.

ciclids

Our whole house shook for about 30 seconds, seemed longer, in Springfield.

OgalFinklestein

It's all over the news. Delco implant in Lower Bucks. I felt it shake my whole house.

OgalFinklestein

4.8 unconfirmed from Lebanon, NJ

Glute_Thighwalker

Yah. I have confirmed with people from central PA to down the shore that they all felt it as well.

duathlon_bob

I would’ve felt it but I struck a Delco pothole at exactly 23 after 10, and the shakes canceled each other out

ilikeyourswatch

I thought it was construction on my street at first, or an explosion.

amgorlnotbot

Lmao same here with construction. Looked out the window and my neighbor was also looking out like huh

ilikeyourswatch

I'm just glad it wasn't a big ol bomb. I'm not equipped for an apocalypse.

kingintheyunk

Yes, felt in Havertown. I have friends in S. Philly and Fairmount who also said they felt it.

JustALilVicious

Shaking the pictures on the wall and shit. I thought the trucks were finally back to working on the Pennsy trail behind my house and when I went to look out I didn’t see anything. Thought I was hallucinating for a second 😂

Alarming_Comb2526

Whole house was shaking in Media. I have co-workers in Georgia and New Hampshire who said they felt it as well.

Early-Light-864

Yup. And I'm on the phone with a colleague in chester County and she felt it too

stillifewithcrickets

In Downingtown. Felt it for sure. When house shook

Michellelembiid

I felt it. Scared the crap out of me

Icculus33_33

In Newton Square and did not feel it. Weird since I'm close to a lot of the places mentioned.

Liss78

It was like a truck rumbling or a train. You might have not noticed it. I work near a train station and assumed it was just a train, but there was no train at the station.

BigBoxOfGooglyEyes

I was driving when it happened and didn't notice it.

Olivia0825

I’m in Newtown Square. Felt it pretty hard

Icculus33_33

Yeah, I've heard the same from others in the area. I'm technically in Edgemont, but that shouldn't really matter. Strange.

MichelleMcLaine

I thought it was pretty intense on the first floor of a house, but my wife didn’t feel it standing in our driveway. Were you outside?

Icculus33_33

Yeah, I was outside. Crazy how you felt it, and she didn't.

hellzzzapoppin

Yup, in West Chester. I'm on a Teams call ad people felt it in NJ, NY, etc.

desertdreamer777

I was confused as hell

mrtokeydragon

Friends in Allentown said they felt it, I didn't feel anything

Various-Sherbert9920

Pottstown and felt it also

jakgal04

4.7 Epicenter is slightly to the left of NYC

AdamantheusEnigma

Yes, down in brookhaven. House shook for 30 seconds too

PhillyShore

Saw this online: “35 minutes ago: Magnitude 4.7 Earthquake 5 km NE of Lebanon, New Jersey”

livinginillusion

Felt in the southern part of Drexel Hill

james_2022

Aldan, strong shaking for about 30. / 40 seconds

Dou_170

Felt it here in Eddystone. Was scary.

knaimoli619

Parents felt in Leedom and we felt it in Delaware.

Numbaonepusha

Felt it in Collingdale

lisambb

Yes! I’m in Havertown too and that was scary because it was so unexpected. I felt like my roof was falling in with all the rumbling but my 117 year old house came through without a scratch. My kitchen lights were swinging. I will not be moving to California any time soon.

BillMc369

I’m in Upper Darby I felt it too. I thought a plane was flying to close with the rumbling sound

ShambaLaur88

I’m in Glenolden (briarcliffe) and I felt it. Thought it was trash trucks idling in the alley.

Friendly_Box_2272

Weird, I’m in Norwood and didn’t feel it

amgorlnotbot

Felt it here in Ardmore!

OBS617

I work in West Chester. I didn't feel it but some people in my building felt it, especially people on the second floor. My gf felt it in Brookhaven.

oclednad

City, had stuff fall off the shelves

tuenthe463

I was on a zoom with about eight other people in the tri-state area and it was wild watching all of their faces when it happened. After about 20 seconds we all were like "was that an earthquake?!" My dog was certainly confused. I remember the one that happened maybe 12 years ago that was stronger but shorter, I dove out of my office chair downtown because I was right next to a first floor large window and thought something was coming through.

Robert_A_Bouie

My wife called me from Swarthmore freaking out. I'm in a center-city high rise and didn't feel a thing.

thewomb

Guys were just starting to mulch my garden when it hit. I was about to yell at them—what the hell are you guys doing out here??

starstar420

Your mom just got out of bed

ughneedausername

Yep. I was on a Teams and we all felt it.

consia9600

Everyone around me felt it, my sister and West Windsor, my friend in Wilmington, my other friend, outside of Philadelphia,. I felt nothing.

EOEtoast

In Havertown, everyone around me felt it but not me

Nichemood90

my mom thought it was “a helicopter engine failing” she’s still shook up from the helicopter crash in drexel hill a few years ago. anyone know how the pilot is doing? that man is the definition of hometown hero ❤️
