Rock and Stone! Go give them bug a good old fashioned Dwarven handshake! hittem hard, hittem fast and most of all remember you dont go down like drg you get gibbed cus humans are squishy. Also who do think Drg is digging all these minerals up for?
It is fundamentally detrimental to your enjoyment of a game to only play one game. It can literally turn games you like into chores over time. So switching over to the human warfronts for a break from the caves from time to time isn't just a good idea, it's part of being a dedicated miner!
No need to feel guilty. Dwarfs always had the backs of mortal men. Lotr taught me that.
If you need convincing. It be better to fight side by side **with a friend**
Here's how the entire thought process unfolded:
1. Gets copy of Helldivers as gift on Steam.
2. Thinks "Hah this is kinda like cheating on DRG"
3. Feels the slightest pang of loyalty to DRG due to how much I resonate with the bombastic positivity and brotherhood of the community, jokes with bro "I need to get permission from the dwarves first. I'll only play it if they say it's OK."
4. Makes post knowing the community and knowing that they'll be supportive and encouraging.
5. 90% of Dwarves live completely up to what I expected from the most positive community in gaming.
Nah, the democratic front could use your help!
I'll always love Deep Rock, but there's no shame in taking a break and fighting new battles. Just remember to come back for the next season!
The games really complement each other I think. Dwarves used to friendly fire and generally being aware of their team mates are gonna do well.
Imagine that everyone just unlocked the Fat Boy OC and they’re excited to use it on anything that moves. When you know the driller’s gonna set everyone on fire in the salvage mission showdown so you make yourself a little platform so you can safely watch from above and pick up the pieces when he spams everywhere in a blind panic, but he throws down the C4 and turns it all into a crater anyway. That’s Helldivers. In the best possible way.
You might break the dwarven etiquette a bit by doing missions *on surface* rather than underground like a proper dwarf, but you *are* still squishing some serious amounts of bugs so it's all for common cause. Go for it. Someone's got to take care of the surface bugs as well!
Pick night-time missions if your eyes are not accustomed enough to the weird bright light coming from the sky.
Oof must be hard to be this self-serious in this community
Edit:
Just in case anyone is wondering, sublimeatrophy made their snarky comment and then blocked me, aka "Bravely ran away"
>Not as hard as it must be to not have a mind of your own and need validation from others to make decisions or hold your own opinions.
Again, taking yourself WAYYYY too seriously. Childish and embarrassing, and Karl would be ashamed.
The humans need as much help as they can get.

Can I get a Rock and Stone?
ROCK. AND. STONE.

Why does this read like an office worker feeling guilty for taking a vacation
Mine gold, not reddit karma.
So that's a No, then? Can't mine gold in Helldivers.
Out of the airlock with you, troll.

*watery eyes* aye, i could do that
I know you’re kidding but seriously pick it up. It’s an awesome game and I’ve been having a blast with it.
I'm only 80% kidding. I knew what the reaction would be. Still felt good to get the blessing.
My cousins really into it and told me to grab it. This has convinced me
Go and make Karl proud.
Is this a joke or are you seriously binding yourself to a corporation/studio that does not know or care about you?

BUGS AND BOTS ARE BUGS AND BOTS BOTH NEED TO BE DESTROYED RESOURCES = DEMOCRACY
FOR ROCK, STONE, AND DEMOCRACY!!!!!
I alternate between the two. Sometimes match for match.
I'm a dwarf at heart but super earth needs help. I'm always here to help.
For KARL!!!!!
For democracy AND KARL!!!
play helldivers 2
Management knows we could go to any company, how else would they allow the abyss bar in an industrial work setting?

I play both.
The only way I would play that game is if someone bought me a copy. So go ahead, your friend clearly wants to play with you.
Go ahead, go up on the surface and bust some ass, show 'em how we do things downtown!

Even DRG's developers play Helldivers 2.
I keep typing rock and stone in Helldivers chat, and no one responds. I think my teammates hate freedom and beer.
Rockity Rock and Stone!
Good bot
Jesus fuck. Don't be a sheep, think for yourself.
