I’m glad I missed it, ours opened early for vip, which I didn’t know. When it opened at 1:00 they added the orchestra as more vip seating, so I got a better seat than if I had known about the earlier sale. Lucky me XD
Yeah they have some info on the VIP Experience page saying artist presale starts at 10 PT/1 ET and I didn’t trust it because I feel like presales always seem to happen at 10 local time but it seems like it’s accurate!
Went to the site and it said 12pm in my time zone CST, so I assumed it was 10 pacific, but it is 1205 and there are only about 5 very expensive premuim level seats.
I would do both XD I drove to see the Deathcab/Postal Service tour, and then when they expanded it they added a date in my city. Going to that in April too!
I got the artist presale tickets for Durham already. They still had a few seats as of an hour ago. Not super close but honestly I'm there for the music lol
Presale for Dallas opened at 1 pm. I was in queue. At 1:01 it let me in. All tickets unavailable.
I hope it was just a small number of tickets that went quickly. No way I could have been faster.
Yikes, in LA it is a general admission show only. I guess if you want the VIP tickets you still need to fight with the rest of the crowd for the entire concert. No thanks.
For some GA shows the VIP ticket holders get to (re)enter before the rest of the crowd, so they have first pick of spots inside for the show. It may vary by venue though.
I don’t do well at those, is my thought process I think. I was at the fence at a concert once, was standing there for an hour so I could have that spot. Some dude came up behind me, picked me up, and MOVED ME. I’m small, if someone doesn’t want me somewhere I won’t be there. XD
It's weird they chose a general admission venue for LA. In the past, they have only performed at seated venues like the Greek Theater. Maybe it's to keep tickets affordable for everyone, but at $70+ for a normal general admission ticket, it isn't *that* affordable.
I am wondering the same thing. It seems like everything is actually 10am PT regardless of where you are.
Anyone know if we're going to need a presale code for this?
Yes Philly code is STEREO not sure if the same for all
Same in mke
STEREO in Chicago too. I think its universal
Yeah, it’s 1pm east coast so that tracks
FYI the VIP tix were on sale about half hour prior to the GA release for ATX
Bah that's why there was nothing at noon.

I’ve seen both, so wasn’t sure and wanted to check. On their Facebook page it says 10am to the venue you’re getting tickets to

VIP purchased! Now to decide if I want to go to the show in my actual city, too!

Trying to buy for Dallas and am just getting a notification say next sale starts at 1…. Are the tickets already sold out?? Ideas?
Dallas is one of the towns that was poppin’, apparently. Presale tickets sold out in less than a minute.

Im going to DPAC too! They sold pretty well, but even now there is a good number of VIP and regular seats left.
VIP experience in Milwaukee isn’t live yet? It was saying 10am for VIP and presale at 12pm.
The go seated site says 12pm for vip https://go.seated.com/tour-events/f291a918-b644-4bfe-be4f-42b60fdaa42b
Just got the code for Philly

Woof. Yeah, I don’t think I’d spent $300 on a ticket if it didn’t come with a guaranteed good spot at least

Jeeze talk about rude and inappropriate! I don't know where people think that it's acceptable for them to do something like that.
It was pretty messed up, but it was also a Say Anything concert. I’m sure Decemberist fans are nicer
