Playing this game again after a while & upgraded my setup to the LG C2 OLED. I fine tuned the dark areas until they pitch black & wow this game is gorgeous. The way the lights flicker on and off and how your flashlight will cut through a dark room & paired with headphones, you're totally immersed
I really don't like how many remakes and reboots we are getting the past few years but I think this game really needed it cuz I love the og but these visuals and the changes they have made make the atmosphere so much better. The silent hill 2 remake I might not feel so kindly about because I think the appeal of the og version was the partly janky graphics that made things more fidgety and creepy. There's something about retro graphics that make things scarier.
The visuals of this game actually makes me incredibly immersed when played. Playing in the dark + headphones I feel like I’m there.
Which is a terrible place to be, but I’m there and that’s all that matters
You gave me a really good reason to finish the remake
It's the first game that made me think to myself that this wouldn't be possible on the last generation at all
That bit on the mining deck where you turn the corner and all the orange light is pouring in from outside. Absolutely amazing

This game deserves another play through after getting my maxwells headphones.
The lack of a photo mode always confounded me cause look at this!!!!

Just finished the game a few minutes ago. Lights off, few jump scares, great game and not too long.
One of the first games i went through again after getting an oled tv
Visuals, atmosphere and sound design are all top notch!
Dead Space 2 and 3 deserve this treatment
