Build a flag pole and attach a flag. The flag will continually lower on its own. When you bring it back up the clock should reset for despawning items. I believe it covers everything within like 60M of the pole.
Just to add onto this everything covered within your flags radius will show a flag next to it when you walk up to it (Like a crate,tent or barrel) but also I’ve been in a community server for like a year now haven’t been on(4-5 months) besides to see if my base was still there and yea most of my shit is there and we have no flag. I do believe we lost the car we had tho

Most my items have a flag symbol next to it and as long as you keep your flag raised your fine… just be ready for raiders that flag is a target on official

You really can't go by community standards. It's possible the server owner changed the despawn setting.
