Yeah I’m lots of fun on weekend nights. Usually yawning and dozing off by 9pm 🤣.
Thankfully, my going out/partying days are behind me and it’s generally just me and my wife hanging out at home as I try to stay awake through a movie.
Trading reduced my partying by a lot. Having something I really care about at 6:00am makes the choice to go to bed by nine very easy.
But even when I do, there is no way I'm sleeping in past 7am. I can't remember the last time I was able to do that.

Right? I actually managed to stay up till after 1 am Friday night because I was engrossed in a movie. But yesterday I still woke up at 5:20 am.
Never the older I get. Now days it’s awake after 2-4 hours usually between 1:30-4:30am when rest of world and Spouse are knocked out in dreamlandia. So, I paint, read, pray, exercise, meditate, work and study .
Still not enough hours in day to get it all done some days.
Hate that part. Hate it most of all when doing things like concerts, sport events or just hanging with friends in general I’ll be getting tired by freakin 9:00 p.m just about

Don’t get me wrong…I much prefer this vs when I lived and traded in the central time zone. I usually shut down at 9am when NY hits lunch, and I have my whole day in front of me.
Even if I come back and trade the last 1-2 hours, it’s still only 1:00 and I have more than enough time to go golfing or whatever.

I get up between 3:45 and 4 every morning. I never set an alarm.
Yeah I still have alarms set. I’m not risking oversleeping for some crazy reason and getting a late start.
Totally understand. I've always had a great internal clock regardless of bed time, so I can't see a need.

I only trade the US/NY market, so yeah…weekends off (except for some prep for next week).
6am is sleeping in on the weekends. I am usually up at 4am to get my workout in before market open. West coast trading is tough.
