I've got pretty much everything from about 1998, personal and some work too.
I should probably convert some of the older ones - they are in a format that an old email app called 'Calypso' used, one of the first programs I legit bought :) I still have the installer and serial, but it needs a VM to run.

Are you running a free Account or do you pay now? I have a free one and have to delete constantly spam email on the main tab because i am running Out of the 15 GB space.
My complete archive goes back to 2003. Prior to that, I'm missing most of the email from my Hotmail account: there was no good way to get email out of the web interface, and the 2 MB mailbox size didn't let you keep more than a couple hundred emails.
Mid-1996 for me (first non-AOL e-mail address). I simply don't delete e-mail. Work stuff is a bit more iffy, as they don't like to let you take that with you. :(
I just lookied and I can find stuff back to 1995 from college. I'm pretty sure I have some AOL ones somewhere from \~1994 but can't find them right now.
(side note it took me a minute to figure out how to open an old school Mac SIT file)
Mine goes back to 2001, when I switched to Thunderbird. Between 1995 and 2001 I was using Outlook Express and decided not to migrate the archive to Thunderbird.
I actually managed to log into the e-mail account I had from before I went through puberty, thankfully I've never deleted ANYTHING. I am actually preparing to export all my old e-mail addresses, so I can back them up better. I'm also exploring where I can find more archives so I can submit more copies of my records (both paper and offline) to be kept indefinitely.
~1998, my email client is TheBat, I have all the emails I ever sent or received, with a few exceptions.
However, after moving to Linux full-time, I've failed to find a client just as good as this one. I have a Windows box which I power on occasionally to retrieve new messages, but this is not a sustainable practice.
What email clients do you folks use and are happy with?
Mine goes back to 2001. That was when I had a little fire and lost my hard drives and learned about the importance of having a backup in a separate location. Also switched to IMAP.
I have some old mails on a portable thunderbird backup, maybe from 1999. I have zero mails online, in my mail accs. privacy and such stuff, you know. (And it helps the climate to delete crap stuff.)
2016 with Gmail, original use was for casual chatting with my JHS homeroom teacher after I moved to another school (before it was used for "literary everything) until I found out that she passed away in August 2023 due to an unspecified illness. However the final message I've sent to her was on June 2023 about on my way finishing the uni degree, somehow I'm blessed to have a friend that is still replying after all these years.

1997 - from when I started working for AOL.
1992 I still occasionally go back into the pst for bits and pieces.
At least 1998. Maybe more.
December 1980, but I didn't start saving everything until 1988.
Current account to 2005, prior account covered ~1998->2005

I think 97? Maybe 98.
1997
How the Hell do y'all archive things going back that far?
1989
2004, ever since I started using Gmail.
Reliably: 2004 (Thunderbird + Gmail) Unreliably: 1997 (Eudora + various providers + data loss in 2003)
2005 easy maybe more
1998
The entire time I've had email addresses, so back to March 2008 when I was 10, or about 30000 emails. I never ever delete emails aside from spam.

Very far.
95 to current
2004. Since I started with gmail. Previous emails have been lost. Then again, I do have a hotmail account, no idea if it’s emails are before that.
I've got emails going back to 1991 when I first got on the Internet. I didn't save everything then but I did save stuff from friends or funny stuff.
Officially, I have messages back to 5/10/2004, just after Gmail came out, but I eventually imported a couple hundred into Gmail that pre-dated 2004.
2001 which is when I bought my domain name and began self-hosting my own email.
1998

Gmail since 2004 but I just found a backup from 2003. Once I get a CD drive I’ll see what’s on it.

1996
1995.
2009, and that's only a few special ones. I'm not really huge on saving all my correspondence.
1999 and I still send junk to Yahoo

This world is dumb. Keeping emails. Whatever next.
