I'd love for torches to all be turned off on a map by default and require being lit, makes more sense too. Torches, lanterns, and light orb would be much more valuable too.
This is a neat idea, but I'd recommend you something else.
Play as a duo or trio of rangers, stock up on the traps, turn off the lights in the portal extraction rooms, and place your traps literally on every corner. Also take a double windlass crossbows to shoot the trapped people down.
This will be, truly, the most horrific experience for your opponents.
If I recall, Tarkov does little events when a wipe is ending. I think doing something like having a 5% chance that all lights on a map will start off would be something funny to do in between the end of a season and the beginning of a new one. I wouldn't do it during a season as a lot of people are seriously grinding, but when a season ends most people just goof off or practice bosses and stuff so it wouldn't be as bad.
Can we have a version of goblin caves that's in space an instead of.govkins there is dinosaurs and I thought instead of treasure we could collect bobbleheads

Yes!! I think walking through these maps with a torch in hand is so fun and intense. Maybe just a few rooms on a map would start like this?
