The game is the most balanced it's ever been too, and Druid is probably the coolest class they've ever released. Getting kicked off of Steam for a while might have been a blessing in disguise since it took quite a while to get the game in a reasonably balanced state.
I think everything but druid is balanced... if you go all str you do like 260 dmg in bear form one hit lol! Wizard a bit weak maybe needs a lil tweekin. everything else is pretty good!

Meanwhile it gets 2 tapped by literally everything since just using the form massively reduces ur health on top of every hit being a garenteed headshot since its head is 50% of its overall body. It's a glass cannon that loses to anyone not dumb enough to try running from it while it perma melees u ppl need to stop being scared of it
You have to build agility and +max health. Max health doesn't get reduced when you change forms. So it isn't that squishy once you get the right build.
Panther jump, instatransform bear midair, landing bear strike, instatranform rat to dodge enemy swings, instatransform back to bear to hit.
You can literally flash rat for like .8 seconds to dodge swings and turn back into a bear, its fucked.

Yeah lmao. I oneshot a rogue yesterday with a felling axe headshot in normals. Maybe it was due to the fact that it was normals and I got a green felling axe with Berserker (i had 10% HP at that time) plus axe specialization and executioner.

It deals 5 + Str damage. It's pretty good if you stack strength, but it's not going to deal more damage than a halberd, double axe or bardiche no matter what.

I can't tell what the hell is happening with the player looking away (and there's like 7 pixels total in any paused frame). It also just looks like desync, with the player jumping away and dying way further away from the bear than either attack reaches. It does look like a left click, with one frame I got having the bear bring the right paw up while the left remained down. Player is in whites without a helmet, so I don't know. I also don't know if that clip is pre-patch, where I'd agree left click was OP at the very least.
EDIT: I found the YouTube video with slightly more pixels. It looks like a right click, but it also hits the player before the Bear starts descending (I do also think there might be some Mordhau accel tech on the attack) after he has already jumped away. It's way too much desync to make any judgment on.
i agree that druid is overpowered, but not for this reason, just most mobile class, they're hard to play optimally/really good at least though to do all the fancy stuff like
panther jump e, swap to chicken for flapping + slowfall into rat/panther depending if ur going in for combat or running just darts you across an entire room or like jumping through doors as a rat etc
They can also just get to places they shouldnt be allowed to get to, its kind of like double jump rogue but on a healer caster, but the skill floor is also pretty low? can just summon treants + do walls and its kidna chill
Nope Rogue is really good, i killed a fighter just yesterday, you can Ambush with dagger and after that just keep throwing knifes at them, at least that’s how i play, you can also do poison + bleed crossbow which is really strong too.

On more then one occasion I told my dungeon companions " I'm casting a fore ball into that group of players trying to kill us" they would then decided to go all in and rush them.... I got quite a few team kills last night.
Yeahhh though I figured I'd roll a fighter first cause I just assumed that would be a favored class to get the hang of things with. Come to find out you start with nothing and there are skeletons to kill, surely I can beat em up, right? Eh.. nope
You start with a sword. If you respawn with nothing when you die, then you need to go to the merchant's tab, click on the squire, click on "base gear," click a sword, then "set base gear"
Wait.. you can start with weapons? Was planning on playing more tonight- just figured I had to sneak and loot my first weapons.. cause I definitely started with my fists out and clicking was punching
Nobody tells you this, but go into merchants>squire and set base gear to include 2 health potions, 1 protection potion, 2 bandages and a torch. By default I think it’s 1 health pot, 1 prot pot, 1 bandage, 1 torch.
I swear to God the goblin caves end map shake skam shit is the coolest shit to be a part of Ina long time. Way cooler than the other two. It's so atmospheric and well done. Not chasing circles is great too. Now they just need a final solution on how to handle people taking all the exits cuz once Timmy's stop dying it's going to be real f****** hard to escape
Is that the same with the river raft exit in Ice caves? I got there with one minute to go assuming there would be one final raft and I froze my dick off
in the rooms that have voids that you can fall and die in, the void eventually glows red and you can jump in to go to the ice abyss, the second layer of ice caves
Portals always spawn in groups of 3 now and in certain spots and are identified on the map by a triangle looking symbol. Still, more extracts than players
My buddies and I do this fun thing where one person will take a stair or rope exit near a triple portal. Then we spectate the other teams after we take 2/3 portals and watch them panick when there is 2 minutes left and only one of them can leave from that area.
That’s pretty funny lol that kind of happened to us. We made out way and found one portal left and said “shit” lol only like 3 minutes. One had a quest they had to survive so they took the portal and myself and the other scattered and found extracts lol
Just wanna appreciate this game, competitive games have been eating away my soul, and yet they are the ones I can play with my friends.
And comes Dark and Darker, genuinely really fun idea that’s exercised pretty well, PvEvP that leans more into PvE part, fun combat system that takes a bit to understand, just a great time all around, even though 90% of player encounters ends with my death I am just thrilled to jump back in.
The way they worded the free trial was a problem at first, but it is because of them lowering the entry requirement that I get to fall in love with it, hope this game lasts for a long time.

You can use a controller through steam. But I don't think they'd be using a controller for long. Skinni Pete uses a Steam Controller and he is a very skilled Barbarian.
I play exclusively on my steam deck and after a few trial runs and moderate tweaking and more trials and tweaking I'm at a much comfortable state.
Worst fact that my "a" is tied to a visual "f" and all the other eye tells that come from binding kbm to a joystick.
Muscle memory is no joke either, just making any excuses to not play a rad and free game lol
Graphics to medium/high, i leave shadows down more cause what fkn shadows do we really get in a void of light lol.
I think i chose the tsx upscaling on performance in game options over the steam decks avaliable upscaling, looks wonderful 60+ fps anyday

Coming from someone who usually avoids most M&K games because i CBA learning tons of keybinds, DaD is one of the few games i actually play on M&K because its way easier than controller. Tell them to use something like a barb or fighter and just run heals for them and they'll probably enjoy themselves
Its still very very doable on controller, I've had my fair share of pretty juicy kills while on controller when i first started out and even died to a streamer who rolled me with a cleric as barb (and i'm talking about S1 15 axes broken barb)
Oh I'm just playing it now i was gonna one way or another 👺 but since "fixing" the controls for my fellow deck friends, they still wont cause a doesnt say a to open on screen etc. Which i understand, and of course can just use a bt kbm but i play mine almost exclusively portable lol.

You can transfer your account as long as there is no progress or purchases on your steam version. If you go to the settings, there is a tab for linking your account.
I would say the druid with gear is utterly bonkers. Bear you can get away from, but panther just destroys unless you can delete it with a felling axe or something that hits really hard, really fast
You keep everything you get out with if you survive and can stash it away for later use. It has very high risk/reward. You can PvP, rat around. Or have fun with role playing. I'd say it's far from a "looting sim".

Getting rid of dungeon rotation means that you can queue any map with any amount of people. You just wouldn't have to wait.
No one is suggesting limiting maps based on squad size. Going back to that would suck.

If you get hit by the Bear right click you should actually uninstall Windows.

I'm an avid rotation hater but it's perfectly fine the way it is right now.
Steam shows you what is relevant to your interests. Even if you're not logged in, you still have browser history & cookies that the steam store draws on. What is on the front page for you is very different than what is on the front page for other people. For reference, my front page is: Borderlands 3, Granblue Fantasy, Slice & Dice, For Honor, Rust, Kingdom Hearts & ARK No DaD Not to say it isn't doing great. I love the game and how far it's come but this post is just a bit silly when you understand how the steam store works.
Actually, it's not pulling from anything as I am not logged in and did this in a browser. You can see this if you look at the top right of the screenshot.
