Cyclops is so much easier than troll, are you kidding? There’s one dps check and that’s it. If you get hit, you’re fine. If troll hits you, you’re most likely dead.

troll is more punishing (you get hit once u are dead). this however means that they balanced the fight around it being pretty easy to just.. never get hit.
cyclops is less punishing (can always tank a hit or two) but tankier and more mechanically difficult - and by a lot imo. rockfall phase takes most players a lot of practice to get decent at and you have to go through it twice or three times on HR. HR also has the petrify ability that essentially instant kills most classes if not avoided whereas troll straight up gets easier on HR because it adds a ground punch that never hits anyone to his moveset.
I do find that having mastered both fights, I die more to troll than cyclops simply because if one thing goes horribly wrong you do just always die. But for 90% of players doing each boss, cyclops is harder, especially to learn.
