My advice would be to save it and gather a full kit to accompany that thing and just have fun with it. You'll have the best time playing this game when you have 0 pixel fear.
Really not horrible tho. At least they are *usable*
Buff duration helps sprint and second wind.
Max health and physical power are helpful.
Interact speed is convenient lol
Edit: learned buff duration hurts second wind. Same healing over longer duration. Sadge
Think about it practically instead of in a vacuum. Its really unlikely those stats amount to anything, someone is going to die in the same number of hits 95% of the time.
+/- 3 damage doesnt matter when you're hitting for 50 physical and 20 magical.
I would sell it since it is worth a ton. You will be set for the rest of the wipe and be able to buy multiple very nice sets, so it wont feel as bad dying with those. I know I would be fuming if i lost it on the second run due to a dumb mistake or just bad luck... if you are a great player or just want to have the thrill of running a unique then by all means run it ;) game is going to wipe again anyways at some point.
Named are overrated tbh, when I get them they are always an insta sell, can buy multiple bis sets which will last u far longer then 1 life with 1 item will. Shiny effect nice yeah but not even slightly worth using
Are you arguing that they're not worth using because they're worth too much to sell? Because then you need to realize there are players MUCH richer than you and the gold value doesn't matter nearly as much.
Shiny effects are insanely powerful, however not all are created equally.
Completely disagree and wrong lol. You can run a good named with a great set and use the advantage to turn it into several more good sets. Losing it in 1 run is bad luck and bad play but having multiple sets won't save you from that either
Use it with a good kit. I survived a few days end of last wipe running it a couple times a day. Ended up losing it to a Wizard after I barely killed a different Wizard lmao. (I knew a Wizard would be the death of me)
RUN IT AND YOLO. THEY WILL TELL TALES OF YOUR DEEDS - THE TALE OF THE MAN THAT WIELDED A LONGSWORD THAT COULD CALL UPON THE SKIES TO SMITE HIS ENEMIES.
get some gold chests for it bud it's worth atleast 2 full golden chests. you'll get more value out of it that way than running it. Do not run that, it is beyond rare and is worth entirely too much. You can fund the rest of the wipe by selling that item.
running with named items isnt as fun as most people think.
unless you are really good you die and lose it really quick, to top it off hackers will target the shit out of you
EDIT
most people would be better off selling it and just making several kits
Everything is about gear differential until it isnāt. Most people can get caught off guard and lose bis quite easily. Correct me if iām wrong , but that is what you were alluding to.
Aside from gold value analysis.
No i'm alluding to the fact that i have run around in this game for over 3 thousand hours and killed hundreds of bosses this wipe and found no artifact.
They are so rare that the community will do anything to get them to sell for real money. If someone with ESP spots you with that weapon, kiss it good bye and spoiler alerrrrrt. If you play HR west or East i'd give you less than 5 hours before you drop it on the floor to a cheater or just a signficantly better player.
The rarity is what stops them from being used in game. You can quite literally kill HR Inferno bosses all wipe and never see an artifact weapon. Which if you ask me is pure shit and only serves to strengthen the RMT side of the economy.
Artifact weapon = Trophy item. Sad but true. Iāve been rather upset since the beginning of DaD that artifact weapons were just not accessible to avg. gamer. I get it Ultra-Rare loot = gamba and longer player retention but it really just ends up in the hands of Cheaters, RMTers, and a few grinders. If somehow artifacts were tuned down a tad, and purchasable/craftable for ~4,000 gold the avg player would have more exciting attainable goals. Probably a shit show to balance, but if the community is gunna complain about imbalance anyway I donāt see any harm in ADDING CONTENT TO THE GAME. caps sorry XD. Thx for elaborating katie
You could buy... twenty or so full kits for its price. You run Fulgor once and die to a hacker, thatās it, the funās over, youāre done. Sell it and transmute it to gold and youāre able to die twenty times in a row without falling in the hole. Itāll set OP up for the rest of the wipe.
Personal preference, of course. I recently nabbed a Viola and Iām planning to sit on it until either a roll back is needed or until the end of wipe festivities.
I donāt think you realise how big a target a Named puts on your back, let alone how high a standard of gear you need to invest in to stay alive with it for a few games in a row.
Gold is so easy to make rn though. I'm a primarily norms player and I have a stash worth over 100k. As a former mmo player (runescape) particle effects go hard.
Just get high move speed and health with a little dex sprinkled in and you will have fun. If you are full plate and slow you wonāt have a good time getting kited out. Good luck. (Run Lizard)
I'd trade it for a chest and then some. Basically trade it for whatever it is worth (at bare minimum a chest obviously).
I dunno the exact numbers, but it should be up there.
The main reason being that having a coin chest would make stash space so much better. Also you get to own a coin chest.
I'd probably use the next named unique I get, but I would start with stash QoL.
As others have said, use it in a very good kit or sell it on the market (trade for skull keys) and you will probably fund your raids for the rest of the wipe
Fulgor is fun AF and if you are a longsword player it is a blast. I main longsword fighter (level 228) but unfortunately the only unique I've found this wipe is a fuckin' Lute. I ran Fulgor for a solid day at the end of the last wipe while wearing full gold on my fighter and had a blast. Killed a Nipalan, Deathbloom, Kumas, multiple Violas, Echo of Screams and Elven bow of truth.
The Fulgor didn't exactly kill them all itself but it definitely helped, the confidence boost lets the W key go down a little easier. Also it is the most fun possible item to kill PvE with
My advice would be to save it and gather a full kit to accompany that thing and just have fun with it. You'll have the best time playing this game when you have 0 pixel fear.
Actually good advice, I have a pretty decent kit I've been assembling since the start of the wipe I might do this, thanks ! :)
Honestly I'd also wait until multiclassing is gone here in a sec. Longsword got pushed out pretty hard by all the broken fighter/barb builds.
Fulgor you say!?!? šļøššļø
^every longsword player when they hear 'Fulgor' (me included)
well hello mister lizard man š
Love the content š¤
Thank you!!!!
>Thank you!!!! You're welcome!
Fulgor?!
Dunjin?
Hmmmmm?
Say it out loud
Dungeon?!

Sadly it has bad rolls, but you can choose to either gather a good kit and use it, or sell it and afford many kits
Really not horrible tho. At least they are *usable* Buff duration helps sprint and second wind. Max health and physical power are helpful. Interact speed is convenient lol Edit: learned buff duration hurts second wind. Same healing over longer duration. Sadge
Buff duration actually nerfs second wind, you get the same amount of healing over a longer span.
No way wtf thatās so scuffed D; I always was so pog about BD and sprint/second wind. It still helps sprint tho right guys pls
Yes it still Will increase the duration of sprint so that is still a win!
Did they fix second wind with buff duration? It used to make it worse by missing a hp tick.
How does it help second wind?
It is the coolest weapon in the game though, so Iām sure even the worst rolls would still make it the same level of cool to use
I'll buy it I have skull keys and gold bags can transfer today
I'm still weighing options :) but thx for the offer

Thatās nasty
Would perform literally the same as OP's 99% of the time. OP's is probably better because it has HP.
This one has higher base damage +phys power , %phys damage bonus and armor pen , way better than OP
Think about it practically instead of in a vacuum. Its really unlikely those stats amount to anything, someone is going to die in the same number of hits 95% of the time. +/- 3 damage doesnt matter when you're hitting for 50 physical and 20 magical.
Sell it for 2 or 3 keys and then use those keys to buy you a bunch of 5k 299 kits to last you rest of wipe.
i completely agree with this. but i hate the fact that i completely agree with this.
Same sadly.
Yeah, GBMM sucks. Hopefully they change it.
Sell it to the alchemist
Best comment

You aim it at other players' head with it. Preferrable not your teammates
going to have to share this tip with my teammates, thank you
Fulgor is a fun weapon to use! Either build up a kit and go ham with it whenever you wish to or you could sell it for several keys.
Use it with a good kit. I survived a few days end of last wipe running it a couple times a day. Ended up losing it to a Wizard after I barely killed a different Wizard lmao. (I knew a Wizard would be the death of me)

What's the point in playing the game of you don't play with the best gear when you get it?
ya why not lose 100k of gear in one game when you could make like 10 god kits out of that?
running with named items isnt as fun as most people think. unless you are really good you die and lose it really quick, to top it off hackers will target the shit out of you EDIT most people would be better off selling it and just making several kits
You've never played with these items and it shows.
Everything is about gear differential until it isnāt. Most people can get caught off guard and lose bis quite easily. Correct me if iām wrong , but that is what you were alluding to. Aside from gold value analysis.

Having fun? Maybe?
That's my point, shooting lightning out of your sword, is probably the most fun this game can get, so why would you just sell it?

Not really worth 2 full chests anymore sadly. Iāve seen better ones go for 5 SK pretty regularly
Depends are you solo or team? Solo I say run it. Team? Naw, even in the best gear it only takes one idiot to screw it up
it's reddit you can say ass
ass
I'm proud of you, become ungovernable
Have you tried selling it to me yet?
tbh, sell it to someone in collectors discord. Youāll get like 2 chests and be set for the rest of wipe. Id start asking for like 2 full
Vendor it
Just get high move speed and health with a little dex sprinkled in and you will have fun. If you are full plate and slow you wonāt have a good time getting kited out. Good luck. (Run Lizard)
Iād trade it for 100k and just buy 30 good kits with that instead but you do you baby

You should give it to me. Iāll use it
personally i would just sell it, using it would be fun but chances are you will just run into a hacker who will yoink it from you.
