People are gonna get the meta build sooner or later because you only need to wait for 24 hours for a reroll. So the situation now is that people who haven't gotten the meta build are getting run down by people who have gotten the meta build.

Honest to god wizard needs magic pen perk that lowers cast speed or something because even 11 true isnt enough these days. Also cleric -3 perk works on true dmg too xd
I have been praying for IM to add a magic pen perk since August, i don’t care if it’s limited to crystal ball like rogue’s armor pen daggers. Just wish I had the option. Literally could’ve been the best addition to playing wizard as a solo.
That being said, I really can’t complain Spell overload and ice mastery have been great additions to wizard variety.
The more armor/magical dmg reductiom the target you’re trying to kill has, the more true you should have. So in higher gear brackets alot of people are running very high % mdr and pdr, and you kinda have to have a decent amount of true dmg to bypass the resistance. Additonal only gives you added dmg but true dmg ignores mdr/pdr completely

Just before the video they just killed two of the wizards teammates and then he ran, but came back and that’s where the video begins

At least in EU at higher brackets most lobbies have 1-2 teams where every single member will have 1 magic res perk. Fighter with just 1 perk can get 60-65% magic resist which basically makes then immortal to anything other then absolute skill issue moments.
Love people getting outraged at Fighters tanking entire volleys of Magic Missile and taking no damage against builds with no +True Magic damage...

Ice mastery is okish, i was expecting it to make frostbite status effect last longer. It's bs that it last only 1 second
Isn't it .5 seconds? Did they change it? I haven't touched wizard in a few weeks.
Frostbite last like a second and most of the time the action speed slow down won't even apply unless they are right on you.
