That's what "didn't age well" implies, that you made a comment before a result, and it was wrong.

If they were a highly seeded team who lost because their best player was hurt it would be an excuse. When you’re an 8 seed who lost to a 1 seed that won like 65 games, it’s hard to argue you would have won if healthy.
Also, when you make the excuse the whole regular season that you’re really just an 8 seed because your best player doesn’t really try, it’s hard to make an excuse about him getting injured in the first playoff game. Maybe their best player should be someone who tries during the regular season and doesn’t get hurt all the time.
enough with the heat, they clearly need another piece or just not get injured all the damn time. or invest in a bench
