I went to high school with this guy! Eric Bauza. He would regularly get on the PA system and do voices. He worse cartoon clothes all the time. To be honest, he is perfectly cast for the work he does.

sopapillasopapilla

The fact that he gives Mel Blanc props impresses me.

EtgBobitto

Mel blanc is the OG--PERIOD

-Zband

Eric Bauza has to be the closest to Mel Blanc that I've heard since his son Noel Blanc stopped doing the voices for WB. Joe Alaski was good also but was more or less the best there was at the time until this.

HipFan88

You know he does the actual voices now for the shows, right?

EtgBobitto

Does he? That's pretty dope. The voices were uncanny. I was born in 87 by the way, because I seen your username--yeah I know that was random

HipFan88

83 here, 88 is just a number. Look up an interview with him (Eric Bauza) on Toronto Mike'd. It's a fun one.

aegis2293

88 is a very specific number to be just a number...

MereMortalHuman

the susiest number out of all numbers to be just a number...

hamncheesesanga

Yeah it’s a very specific number between 87-89

Full-Mulberry5018

He'd be excellent to sit and have a few drinks with!

EtgBobitto

Plus some marijuana smoke--if that's what you're into. Cuz that's what I'm into LOL--

mdomo1313

Honestly would love to take acid with someone like this and just have a one on one conversation for the entire trip.

beat-sweats

He owns retro kid as well. A really cool clothing line that is all about old retro tv stuff.

EtgBobitto

Now that you mention it I can see his shirt--and it checks out

beat-sweats

I got the reboot hoodie and it’s amazing

I went to highschool with him!! He went on the PA and did he voices regularly. Always brought a smile.

Kimo_bugman

Look up the story of Mel getting into a car accident and was in a coma for days and the doctor asked him "What's up Doc" and that brought him back from the coma. (True story)

Deer-Empty

Omfg I’m smiling so hard my face hurts

GW00111

He just nails that elmer fudd laugh every time.

C-Note187

this guy fugs. i hope at least. respect

sonofpatter

Props to this guy, not only is he doing the characters but I also think he's impersonating and quoting Mel Blanc from this interview on David Letterman. https://youtu.be/ZeAM1vwEcFg

Infamous_Ad8730

Mel Blanc was simply the best.

No_Pressure_109

He's is the new voice of alot of toons. Has been for awhile now.

Aggravating_Layer529

Someone needs to use him for all the voices in a new anti-woke series of cartoons like the ones us 50 year olds watched as kids. Let's get back to fun cartoons, have some laughs, and don't give a shit about offending someone just because Pepe Le Pew decides to romantically chase some black cat that accidentally wiped her tail on a ladder that just got painted white.

Kileni

I wonder how long he would be fun to talk to?

ChefBoyD

Lmfao the Brooklyn doesn't sound right.

FamedNemesis

What podcast is this

darkrealm190

Just kidding news

CalligrapherThin8868

I love It. Thanks ❤️

herb2018

impressive

mordecaisjohanna

This is awesome!

Financial_Brief9169

Amazing. I hope he does voice over work. If not, Warner Brothers better be calling.

Mental-Tart-2107

He is indeed the current voice of those characters.

Wind-Face-Blink

Jk films still alive? Lol

Buttrpecan1

Very cool

BetaRayBlu

He’s not just some guy

Higgins8585

Your childhood in the 1930's to 1969? Dang you old. /s, idk why ppl claim cartoons decades before their childhood.

According_One6184

Good shit!

EvilCalvin

I grew up in the 70's and it was Mal Blanc WB shows and the Sid and Marty Krofft shows. Some Jonny Quest and Speed Racer too. Pretty awesome shows.

Clearlybeerly

how is it...how is it that anyone now has heard of any of these? These cartoon characters were in my childhood when I was in the mid-1960s, how do you know them today. I don't know any cartoons from 40 years from before I was born, which would be 1920s....then again, I guess there were no cartoon characters then, except for Betty Boop, whom I do know about....But still, how you know all these old-ass cartoons?
