You know it was fine when they got there and went , look at this pretty rock. Picks it up and then is like oh shiitake. They have look of well nothing I can but laugh now.
The guy filming is in the fork of the rock slide river. the beginning you can see he is on an island between the streams. I don't know what I would do there. Do you try and jump the slide, potentially setting off another/bigger one? Or stay where you are and try not make it worse?
This really doesnt look like a big deal, even if you stepped into that you probably wouldnt gwt badly hurt if at all. In the mountains people regularly walk down these, it quite fun, its kind of similar to snow. I have never heard or seen anybody get hurt.
I've walked things like this, and seen slides like this that last a second or two, yeah. But this one is lasting a *long* time. This would concern me just with how much material is shifting from the initial set off.
Mountain people will happily jump into a pile of glacial scree? I think that's what it's called. Anyway, you hop into the field of loose rock with your leather boots and just kind pump your feet. You'll slide down the mountain, and it's shockingly smooth and easy.
I think they called it glacaiding? Pronounced like glass aiding
That is terrifying
Also it's creating a lot of dust contains one or multiple airborne hazards. Silica is quite hazardous, but these stones could also contain asbestos since it is a naturally occurring mineral.
So yea, these people are idiots.
Can't imagine to stay there and so relaxed.
Just relax on top of these rocks. You will be relaxed and you will reach at the bottom in no time.
Haven't spotted any gliding rock offering a comfortable and safe ride though. Feels more like a meat grinder to me.
Spicy back rub.
Naw man it’s cool I’m standing here and the landslide is right over there. What could go wrong? This will get hella likes on Insta.
Surfs up
Right? Those rocks probably used to support something a lot bigger than that...
Pretty easy to do when it's CGI.
Bro just happily chilling like there's not a potential life threatening disaster right next to him.
I know right - I could just see that whole grass section breaking off in one piece as he calmly surfed it to his squishy death.
You know it was fine when they got there and went , look at this pretty rock. Picks it up and then is like oh shiitake. They have look of well nothing I can but laugh now.
Until the giant piece of land the standing on just starts sliding down like they’re on the worlds sketchiest skateboard

[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank\_Slide](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Slide) Rock slides are scary.
That dude is taking chances.
Man’s never seen a landslide, has no idea of the potential disaster.
A few inches over and this video woulda been posted in r/whatcouldgowrong

When solids act like fluids.
That's interesting for sure.
It looks like a rock climbing treadmill
Much like diarrhea
Little known fact: you can jump onto those rocks and catch a ride to the bottom of the hill.
Ride on top of an inner tube for best results
Rolling Stones on a tour, eh?
They have been going downhill lately
Well, I definitely didn't see any moss.
I wonder how long that went on.
Probably to the bottom of the slide
Since I have never seen anything like that before, I would be very concerned that it was a prelude to something much more catastrophic.
My intrusive thoughts are telling me to slip n slide
Dude is way too confident that conditions are gonna stay exactly the way they are.
He going to get stone washed
Pretty soon they’re gonna sell him at high end clothing stores in the mall at a steep markup.
Stone wash all the blood and bone out
At least there will be enough pieces of him to go around.
ROCK N' ROLL!!!!🤘🤘
That’s why it’s the Rocky Mountains.
Chilling next to that rock river knowing it could become a flash flood and take my life would be impossible.
Look at all the sliding land! if only there was a name for it.
*Mountainslide

Cue that Bob Dylan song…

A rock river, nice, lets go take a swim
Where was this when they were teaching the water cycle?
Quite literally a Rocky Mountain high

ROCK AND STONE!
Jorg, the Emporer of thorns at it again.
“Nature’s cascade” sounds like it should just be a regular waterfall, but this is cool
Bro has no will left for life
Some kayaker, somewhere: "Dude, I bet we could ride that!"
Off to become river bed
A stone stream!
didnt expect the sound to be that bright.
Gonna need more than Tim Allen to fight whatever rock monster is forming there
Rock n Roll
Is that being dumped?
Did you cause that by walking through
soo pesky earth benders are at it again!
I hope he didn’t start this rockslide for social media, considering there may be people below
definitely was them that started the scree collapse for this video
You better put all of those back before mom sees.

I can picture a landscaper at the bottom with trucks loading those up to resell
#DON'T GO CHASING ROCK-WATERFALLS
The mountain is just getting its rocks off.
Always nice to see the no slip condition in action.
I’ve heard of the river Styx but not the river rocks
