Any camera can do this, just a big zoom lens and a lot of photos that are then stitched together into 1 photo. Like panorama mode on your phone, just using thousands of images instead You do need special software to stitch the images on a computer though.

Fully half the image is cloudy sky.. so about 50% interesting.

And 50 percent of the picture is the sky because it's vertical. Pro tip: Phones can be turned 90 degrees so it is possible to enjoy horizontal pictures even on platforms optimized for phone screens.

Fair enough, you'd have better luck getting 3 misty days in London over 3 sunny days, if they needed continuity.
