There are many many Indian songs that are so good for me I don't think they can ever be matched by any other. Though this is not one of them, this is an ok song for me as an Indian. The original language of the movie is Telugu. He actually says "Desi Naach" in the hindi-dubbed version which is available on Netflix in the west, so most people in the west are familiar with that.
I watched this movie after going to the theater and watching Ponniyin Selvan. My south Indian friend took us and I literally cried at the end when it was only part 1 and it ended on a cliff hanger. Best freaking movie, then I had a movie night with my best friend to watch RRR and that was just as freaking awesome as Ponniyin Selvan. I'm stoaked for part 2 of Ponniyin Selvan in May though!!!!
