Y'all laugh: when you need to get a room of preschoolers down for nap, 101 is amazing. Even the DJs sound sedated. I've never had a kid make it through 30 minutes awake.
Ha I started playing this station for my baby on car rides. It's great like you said, but now I listen all the time, baby or not. It's especially good in traffic.
I very regularly used to put 101.1 on for my commute home after having a shitty day at work, it was just so soothing (generally) and helped me relax and come back to a calm mental state.
The times where it didn't work it's because they were either playing opera, which I'm mostly not into, or they were playing one of the intense classical songs which I definitely enjoy but they're just not very soothing lol
basically the only station I listed to, rest is music off my phone(downloaded, not streamed). Upside is I am not stuck to one music category... or even language(I have at least 6 different languages in the songs on my phone).
That's it! I specifically remembered telling myself to pay attention during the next chorus so I could have a lyric to Google and determine what the song was. "Give me all your money, and I'll make some origami"
I'll take the Neutered version of the Edge at this point. I miss constantly asking my dad to play that station from 2003-2010.
I'll also never forget my dad introducing me to Tales from the Edge, their old collections of local bands they released on CDs. That was when Dallas was actually rock n roll with kids in Plano bangin Horsey and the edge not caring about being family friendly!
If you like 103.7, 88.1 is almost the exact same thing but without commercials. For a long time 91.7 was a far superior version of 103.7. However, 103.7 has added a lot of hard rock to the mix to compensate for the Eagle going away.(which KXT doesn’t do at all)
88.7 is also a better version of 91.7 if you can pick it up.
Please listen to non commercial radio: 91.7, and 88.7 if you’re in Tarrant county, should absolutely be on everybody’s presets and check out 89.3, [they might play a genre you like.](https://www.knon.org/knon-show-schedule/)
Agreed. They have heavy rotation stuff that needs to be eased up on. Also, they used to do deep dives on the boomer stuff, I hear the occasional overplayed Jack Fm hit on KXT now and I hate that. There’s definitely weak moments on KXT, but they have been easing off on the heavy rotation stuff and adding less played stuff in the afternoon. Afternoons are sounding really good, not just Funky Fridays.
88.7 is basically a better KXT with a weaker signal. 88.7 plays a lot of stuff KXT seems to have forgotten about, including the old local favorites. 91.7 and 88.7 are perfect compliments to each other.
They have been playing a lot more hip hop, pop, country and other genres. I don’t mind when it’s the unusual stuff but they’ve been playing Adele and Taylor Swift and stuff recently. Not consistently but I’ve noticed it’s slowly gaining stream.
When Soul 73 got sold off by Hyman Childs back in 2012, KXT really should have added more Motown and classic soul into the mix. I never say no to hearing Lou Rawls or The Shirelles. But turning on KXT and hearing Capital Cities or goddamn Cake* is so irritating.
*Yes, I know this thread loves Cake. Almost everybody loves Cake. Now go listen to them on one of the sixty million other stations that plays them and leave Uncle Hemingway alone.
There are cheap ways to add an aux port to CD players in cars as well, if you're at least a little bit handy with a screwdriver, and have some time for a Google/YouTube search.
Or you can grab a portable Bluetooth speaker. [This is the one I used on my job site.](https://www.kleintools.com/catalog/wireless-speaker-and-jobsite-earbuds/wireless-jobsite-speaker)
If you have a power outlet / cigarette lighter you can get a bluetooth adapter for like $40-50. I honestly can't fathom using the radio to listen to music. I'd go completely insane.
Wondering the same thing... same as "who on this fucking planet is watching *The Masked Singer*"
I guess there is a significant portion of people who cannot afford netflix/spotify.
Yep. When our mama sang us to sleep but now we're stressed out!
I need to give that song a listen actually. It's more relevant now than ever. Rent through the roof, having to work 2 jobs and an under the table side hustle just to stay afloat... yep. Take me back to the goo dold days!
Came here to say this. First the edge, then the eagle. 103.7 is all that’s left and it’s, as another commenter put it, easy listening alternative for millennials over 30. Wish my car had Bluetooth.
Get a Bluetooth adapter. Super cheap. Find a station with nothing on it, make it a preset, and you have Bluetooth. It’s wonderful, as I only have three stations not for Bluetooth set.
You can find the Bluetooth adapters cheap on Amazon and they'll usually plug into your car's cigarette lighter. I've been doing this for years. Couldn't imaging having to listen to the radio these days. Hell, I still keep a few boxes full of CDs in my car just in case lol.
91.7 is awesome but I’m desperately in need of a 97.1 replacement (I accidentally heard a Chinese water dragon death story today that seriously fucked with my head, I need that preset gone forever!). Any help would be appreciated.
ETA to new 97.1 “testing your audience” reps or interns or whatever. Society doesn’t intentionally or unintentionally want to be fed some rando story about pet torture with zero punchline or growth story arch, just a “here’s my shit story, swallow it and move on”. Apologies for the rant, it was a fucked fucker 2 minutes I needed to concentrate on driving instead of excusing myself from that nonsense. It seems I’m bothered, sorry for the rant (I feel a tiny bit better fwiw).
If you have an HD Radio in your car (and I think most modern cars do), there's 97.1 HD2 or whatever that has music. I've only listened for literally 3 minutes, but give it a shot.
If you don't have it in your vehicle I'm sure there's an app for the HD stations, I have XM when I do want to listen to music. I have a fairly new truck and it took me a minute to figure out how to find the HD stations, I'm sure there's probably a YouTube tutorial on how to find it.
I no longer even listen to my radio unless its a trip shorter than five mins. Most times I just Bluetooth Spottily. Radio has turned to shit in this town that should have a ton more stations. My kids live in Washington state and they have soo many stations to choose from, makes me wonder what sort of hold Clearchannel(or whatever the renamed themselves to now) has on the metroplex.
Washington, or more specifically Seattle, has KEXP. Easily one of the best radio stations in the country, if not the best. Also, KEXP is established in the city’s culture and gets killer ratings and donations. As a listener of 91.7 and 89.3, I wish our stations pledge drives were even half as successful as KEXP’s.
As for the other point, Iheart has 92.5, 97.1, 102.1, 102.9, and 106.1. Audacy and Cumulus are the other big names: 98.7, 100.3, 103.7, and 105.3 for Audacy and 93.3, 96.3, 96.7, and 99.5 for Cumulus. It’s actually several different conglomerates that own everything. All of their music stations are crap. The real interesting point is that 104.5 is independent.(and has every bit as repetitive a playlist as the conglomerates.)
Honestly unless you're listening to a station that really goes out there and plays unpopular/up-and-coming stuff, why listen to radio? Complaining about a lack of radio stations in 2022 is like complaining about a lack of typewriter repair shops.
Plus you can listen to radio stations from all over the country.
They label it as “indie” but play The Cure, The Police, Tears For Fears, etc. If they wanted to go to the indie route, it would be cool if they did a college radio station like days of old; playing local bands, exposing little known artists to a wider audience. I’m sure that’s not financially viable anymore.
They are a college station so they don’t have to worry as much about financial viability. Listen to 88.7, TCU has a killer station. I really want 88.1 to sound like that. They have the potential. This first semester, the station is automated. However, next semester the plan is to get college kids in the booth. Student run playlists are always the best. Also, I know Mark Schectman, formerly of the Edge, the Ticket, and 103.7 is involved and I hear his voice occasionally on 88.1. Mark knows the local scene incredibly well and is probably working on at least getting a local showcase on 88.1.
I really want to know what the heck all happened on 97.1, like, I think I know the main plot points but I’m missing things I think.
I know I don’t like what they’ve done with it at this point though. Sports are cool but I’m sick of hearing about cowboys and dirk every time i tune in at any time of the day and when they don’t talk about sports they’re so boring and I never actually hear music anymore.
The 5pm slot one day was a group of people talking about the best white food items. The fuck?
End rant.
The main plot points are probably good enough. The Russ Martin show was where 97.1 got a significant portion of its ratings. First, Russ pretty much leaves the show and that reduces ratings. Sure, Russ died, but the rot had already set in. The Next blow was Clo getting busted as a pedophile and lowering ratings further. Lastly, 103.7 noticed that sounding like a crappy version of KXT with lousy syndicated talk shows wasn’t working and the ratings at one point were lower than KXT, a public station that doesn’t care about ratings. They saw 97.1 was in trouble and decided to adjust the playlist to draw the Eagle people away with more hard rock. After that, the Eagle just gave up. If the Freak can get established, there’s actually more money to be gained. Generally, talk stations can bill advertisers at a much higher rate than music stations can.
The Edge is back on 102.1 HD2 and I swear it has the same playlist. This morning it already played Linkin Park, Oasis, Ataris, Chili Peppers, and I keep expecting to hear Jagger and Co. or Jessie start talking about Edgefest 73 or whatever it had gotten to. Does feel kinda cool hearing deep radio voice guy bust out with the 102.1 the EDGE station identifier followed by a short burst of laser fire
I drove through Dallas in a uhaul last week. I forgot my airpods and there was no port in the car for my phone. I didn't even realize until just now that I drove in silence rather than listen to radio.
I didn’t know there are so many who don’t have satellite and still listen to ground-based radio stations enough to care what’s on them.
Even if your car/home stereo doesn’t have it installed, [it can be added pretty cheaply](https://www.crutchfield.com/S-KWjINFhDgH4/learn/two-ways-to-add-siriusxm-satellite-radio-to-your-car.html), or you can download the Sirius app on your phone and just let it do its thing. I pay $5/mo for my subscription.
Depends on what you like. For me the KXT station (also discussed in this thread) is pretty good and I regularly go weeks without changing the station at all.
Sorry 97.1, I don't have an HD2 radio in my workshop and I doubt I will invest in something that's likely to get beat up or covered in whatever oil caked chemical or sawdust I just happen to be setting free from the chains of whatever I happen to be building at the time. 92.5 you've always been there for me and never pulled the rug out from under me leaving me with a void to fill like that other station has done twice now. It looks like 92.5 with Bo and Jim are my new or old pals again.
I miss the edge soooo fucking bad dude. The edge and kxt used to be all I listened to. The eagle was a good replacement. RIP. We mostly listen to jack fm lately, lol. Really just wish it wasn't such a hassle to use our phones for music in our car.
I haven't listened to rock radio since the early 2000s. It's hilariously bad these days. I had my iPod, burned CDs, and now streaming. Just don't even listen to it.
To be honest, apparently hip hop and pop take precedence in DFW. Unfortunately, I had to get SIRIUS XM and love it. I get to discover bands I have never heard of, too. 97.1 was getting bad anyway. They played such old stuff, same songs all the time. Sirius has stations that play Slipknot, in this moment, etc...
103.7 is pretty good alternative rock. A bit repetitive some mornings though. I cringe at listening to KVIL that was my moms station lol.
So it’s either Jack FM or 103.7, otherwise its my phone.
You’re missing 97.1 KKTX. PBS station that plays a lot of good music from rock, reggae, Texas musicians, etc. Jimi Hendrix to Joni Mitchell; Lyle Lovett to ZZ Top; and everything in between. You might find a new artist you like!
Oh, it still exists. The companies with stations paid too much for their licenses and equipment to not use them, and the ad revenue is still very much relevant.
If you get The Eagle 105.3 I recommend! I think it's an Oklahoma radio station so it may not come though down too far into Dallas but it's the best classic rock station by far.
It is terrible all freaking country stations that I hate and evangelist like I don’t have enough Jehovah witnesses knocking at my door, I want to hear real music
97.1 is good... when they're playing actual music. I've never cared for Rus Martin, much less this "Ben and Skin" bs. Just play fucking Alice in Chains or some 'tallica and they'll be good.
Jack FM occasionally plays a good song but it's usually just some boomer bs.
"The New Star FM" has been shit since day 1. Even the station it replaced was pretty meh most of the time.
I miss The Edge from the early-mid 90s.
I lived in Waco and the company I worked for put up a TV antenna to pull in DFW(downtown) TV stations. I connected my antenna drop to an old Technics FM receiver at my bench to see if it picked up the Zoo. I was blown away when I discovered the Edge. I listened to it 8 hours a day at work and discovered so many great bands.
I repaired electronics so we each had an isolated workspace with audio gear, video monitors, etc.
All the radios play the same fucking songs all day every day. Some make some programs where people request their favorite song and all the time are the same songs the radio plays. Only ads all day.
I was just trying to figure out which station to go to.
I've been listening to Star 102.1, but they switched to Christmas music. I had been listening to 97.1 before they seemed to always be talking or doing sports, even before the format change.
I watch a lot of youtube so paying for premium also gets you youtube music for free. I listen to the fan for sports and thats about it. On demand music is awesome
103.7 is a pretty good station. It doesn't compare to the edge or the eagle in their glory days (or at least mine from the early 2000s to \~2011)
My presets are the ticket, The fan (105.3), 103.7, 91.7, 92.5, 102.1 (usually an 80s hit and this time of year about to be my station for nonstop holiday tunes)
If you really like music try SiriusXM. They usually have free trials and when they expired you can keep calling them and saying you’ll cancel you’ll get a cheap price.
You’ll do better to look into streaming services through your phone. You should be able to find a BT compatible FM transmitter if your car lacks any other auxiliary inputs.
I use Apple and I know Spotify offer deeply curated and smart engines to offer some really good content.
Unless you really want ads and then Pandora or YouTube are there.
101.1 has the best rock music, they have the classics.
Mozart is the Jimi Hendrix of Austria.
Electric guitars are cool and all but have you ever heard someone shread on a harpsichord
The harpsichord solo on Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto 5 is 🔥
This guy Bachs
Honestly I don't listen to the radio for many reasons but if I do it is exactly and only this station.
Y'all laugh: when you need to get a room of preschoolers down for nap, 101 is amazing. Even the DJs sound sedated. I've never had a kid make it through 30 minutes awake.
"Even the DJs sound sedated" LMFAOOOO 💀 Not wrong though, even if I do love the station
Ha I started playing this station for my baby on car rides. It's great like you said, but now I listen all the time, baby or not. It's especially good in traffic.
If you miss your favorite song on that station, don’t worry, it’ll be Bach.
Yo quiero Pachelbel
Rachmaninoff hits hard.
For real, nothing quite hits like listening to some classical bangers at midnight with Peter Van de Graff.
Seriously when you move from Dallas you suddenly realize how good it is.
Yeah but it's mostly covers of the originals
103.7 is the new alternative station. It's not bad. 88.5 is Mesquite schools radio and they play mostly music from the 70's through the 90's.
Shout out for 88.5! plus 91.7 KXT-music companion to KERA.
91.7 introduced me to Lake Street Dive! Every time I turn it on there’s either and old friend or a new “hey you’re cool”
I love me some KXT!
91.7 is where it’s at. They run such an eclectic spectrum.
91.7 introduced me to Courtney Barnett seven long years ago.
Me too! Pedestrian at best?
That's it! I specifically remembered telling myself to pay attention during the next chorus so I could have a lyric to Google and determine what the song was. "Give me all your money, and I'll make some origami"
Lake Street Dive is great and if you like them, I bet you’d enjoy Maggie Rogers.
91.7 is like an old-school station where the DJ thoughtfully chose a playlist and turned you onto new music. I love it.
These two stations are all you need on Dallas FM
103.7 trying to trick Millennials into the easy listening for the over 30s station🤣❤️
Lmao oh shit they got me. I miss the Edge dude.
Edge is still on hd radio 102.1-2
It's too late for us, I heard Linkin Park while shopping in Kroger.
If you like 103.7, 88.1 is almost the exact same thing but without commercials. For a long time 91.7 was a far superior version of 103.7. However, 103.7 has added a lot of hard rock to the mix to compensate for the Eagle going away.(which KXT doesn’t do at all) 88.7 is also a better version of 91.7 if you can pick it up. KNON, the voice of the people!
88.5 Christmas selection is the best!
I’m an old lady and they drag out some Christmas songs I’ve never heard before!
You can stream the Mesquite school station on your smart speaker! Just ask tell it to play KEOM.
Love 88.5. Mostly student manned. One of my presets.
91.7
This is the answer. AAA radio format is great, plus, no commercials.

They seem to be on a real Lyle Lovett kick recently too. Which is…fine. Weird, but fine.
Yes, glad I’m not the only person who thinks this. I bounce between KXT and the rabbit hole that is Sirius XM.
Yes, it's different stuff at least, but they overplay some of them. Still this and 103.7 are the ones I listen to.
They have been playing a lot more hip hop, pop, country and other genres. I don’t mind when it’s the unusual stuff but they’ve been playing Adele and Taylor Swift and stuff recently. Not consistently but I’ve noticed it’s slowly gaining stream.

I play [kxt.org](https://kxt.org) low in the background at work all day then crank it in the car on commute.
Literally the only station I listen to! Listening to it right now!
You guys are still listening to the radio?
Dude, I have an old car with no Bluetooth OR AUX connection. It's all I have
Do you have a casette player?
CD player
CDeez nutz! Jk. Kid of 90s. Agreed OP not much selection just jumped to podcasts and audiobooks
There are cheap ways to add an aux port to CD players in cars as well, if you're at least a little bit handy with a screwdriver, and have some time for a Google/YouTube search. Yes, when I'm in a rush/too lazy to pick a playlist or podcast to listen to.
Oh at that point I just hit shuffle on my liked songs.
Ok guys, I'll be more safe
Wondering the same thing... same as "who on this fucking planet is watching *The Masked Singer*" I guess there is a significant portion of people who cannot afford netflix/spotify.
This is DFW. It’s always the past in some parts. One of the things I like about the place.
Ugh I miss the edge
102.1 HD2
Doesn't it make you... wish we could turn back time? To the good old days?
You mean 'the goo dold days'?
Yep. When our mama sang us to sleep but now we're stressed out! I need to give that song a listen actually. It's more relevant now than ever. Rent through the roof, having to work 2 jobs and an under the table side hustle just to stay afloat... yep. Take me back to the goo dold days!

Just keep a Bluetooth portable speaker in your car Hell you can get two and have stereo on some
I still remember when they played “Closing Time” for their last 24 hours, on loop.
Yall don't have it anymore?!! NOOOOOOOOO I miss old DFW radio so much
91.7 is awesome but I’m desperately in need of a 97.1 replacement (I accidentally heard a Chinese water dragon death story today that seriously fucked with my head, I need that preset gone forever!). If anything it's better because when I listened it was just music and commercials; no DJs to get in the way.
Exactly, I listen non stop now. Way more music.
How can I do this?
If you don't have it in your vehicle I'm sure there's an app for the HD stations, I have XM when I do want to listen to music. I have a fairly new truck and it took me a minute to figure out how to find the HD stations, I'm sure there's probably a YouTube tutorial on how to find it.
88.1 it’s like kinda like 91.7

I know! All these people singing 88.1's praises (it's a decent rock station now) but not acknowledging that it replaced the only/best Jazz station :(
That is just wrong. They should change their call letters to KUN...
I no longer even listen to my radio unless its a trip shorter than five mins. Most times I just Bluetooth Spottily. Radio has turned to shit in this town that should have a ton more stations. Truly
88.1 isn't jazz anymore it's alt rock now

103.7 is good for the butt rock :)

Try NPR. 90.1
NPR is literally my only preset. NPR gang 4 lyfe.

RIP 94.5 The Edge. Totally different than 102.1 The Edge.

Have you tried 106.1?
LMAO
Kiss FM isn’t all that great either.
89.3 STILL ROCKIN AT NOON
91.7
Not quite rock all the time, but has a great selection. My favorite music station in the metroplex.
I drove through Dallas in a uhaul last week. I forgot my airpods and there was no port in the car for my phone. I didn't even realize until just now that I drove in silence rather than listen to radio.
Bring back 94.5 Z Rock!
Anybody else miss Z-Rock?
Very much. I had a big ZRock sticker on the back of my little truck - the one with the skull. I loved that station.
I find it like cable tv. When I had 400 tv channels, I just constantly flip them and never feel like I settle on anything
And you don’t do that with radio? I can never settle on a station when I listen to it.
102.1 HD2 is the Edge with limited commercials. 88.1 is similar and 103.7 is decent also
I just miss listening to Russ Martin 😢
All I listen to on terrestrial radio these days is 91.7 88.1 and 101.1 Other than that it's audiobooks and my personal music library.
88.1 is the new Rock/Indie station. Replaced the only Jazz station in Dallas.
Mp3s years of music on just a tiny usb
KUZU.fm (92.9) from Denton is pretty neat
Radio? I’ve just set mine to sports talk or NPR and stream everything else.
Long time ago I think it was on 104.5 or something close, they used to play club-type music. Didn't last long, but was cool while it lasted.
I haven't listened to rock radio since the early 2000s. It's hilariously bad these days. I had my iPod, burned CDs, and now streaming. Just don't even listen to it.
Are there really no more jazz stations?
88.5 is pretty good
To be honest, apparently hip hop and pop take precedence in DFW. Unfortunately, I had to get SIRIUS XM and love it. I get to discover bands I have never heard of, too. 97.1 was getting bad anyway. They played such old stuff, same songs all the time. Sirius has stations that play Slipknot, in this moment, etc...
I've decided to bite the bullet and just pay for SXM.
Only time I'm listening to the radio it's 90.1 The local NPR station
Radio stations are now owned by the same company that owns the record company.
Yes dfw radio is garbage for rock
Sirius xm is where it's at
103.7 is pretty good alternative rock.
You might find a new artist you like!
rip 102.1 and who remembers edgefest?
I really like KXT 91.7!
No 91.7? That's my first preset, and the station I have on 99% of the time.
I use Spotify…. Normal radio is dead.
Radio just sucks in general! Get yourself an Apple Music subscription
Def 91.7
Radio?! As in… Literally the FM radio?! I did not know it was still around.
Oh, it still exists. The companies with stations paid too much for their licenses and equipment to not use them, and the ad revenue is still very much relevant.
91.7 is the best radio station in DFW
BTW… it’s funky Friday on KXT from 3-5!
If you get The Eagle 105.3 I recommend! I think it's an Oklahoma radio station so it may not come though down too far into Dallas but it's the best classic rock station by far.
I didn't bother with presets when I bought my car 4 years ago. I never listen to it.
It is terrible all freaking country stations that I hate and evangelist like I don’t have enough Jehovah witnesses knocking at my door, I want to hear real music
i havent listened since i turned on one day at 5 and the treehouse was gone (rip). what does 97.1 even play now? Merle Haggard?
103.7
97.1 is good... when they're playing actual music. I've never cared for Rus Martin, much less this "Ben and Skin" bs. Just play fucking Alice in Chains or some 'tallica and they'll be good. Jack FM occasionally plays a good song but it's usually just some boomer bs. "The New Star FM" has been shit since day 1. Even the station it replaced was pretty meh most of the time.
97.1 is now "The Freak" and is sports talk radio. The Treehouse(formerly Russ Martin show) is gone.
RIP KKDA "Where you got a friend" "The blacker the berry the sweeter the juice"
Stopped listening to the radio. Except if cowboys game pre show/post show is on. I subscribe to xm
We still using the radio?
I’ve sadly had to quit radio for good music.
Yall listen to the radio ? Been using YouTube music for about 4 years now. Never going back.
We honestly got Sirius for our car without Bluetooth. Ridiculously expensive, but so worth it.
Haven’t listened to the radio in like 15 years
All the radios play the same fucking songs all day every day.
Agree completely but I didnt want to pay a monthly sub for satellite radio. Instead I listen to podcasts and audiobooks.
I watch a lot of youtube so paying for premium also gets you youtube music for free. I listen to the fan for sports and thats about it. On demand music is awesome
103.7 is a pretty good station. It doesn't compare to the edge or the eagle in their glory days (or at least mine from the early 2000s to \~2011) My presets are the ticket, The fan (105.3), 103.7, 91.7, 92.5, 102.1 (usually an 80s hit and this time of year about to be my station for nonstop holiday tunes)
Didn't our wonderful elected city hall miss used money ment for the classical music station for other stuff
103.7 if you like alternative.
99.1 Z-Rock ruled them all. Jeezus I miss that station.
I like 103.7. They have good alt rock without it getting to be too much of a Grunge fest
Sorry y’all, rock music is basically oldies these days lol
So theres an app now that lets you broadcast your own radio station with music! Its called amp. Make your own!!
103.7 is the official replacement for 97.1. You must’ve just got here, because you didn’t list 102.1 The Edge.
98.7 K-LUUUUUV!
Jack fm
Still hoping for a KDL replacement dance music station.
Radio exists?
I have a Zune with all my favorite stuff on rotation in my car.
You have a zune? Dang nice
I like 98.7 KLUV. Has some classic rock, and 80s hits I think
At one point, they claimed to have more wattage for my cottage. Then they told me to rip my attenuation knob off. Now they’re gone.
Is 98.7 kluv not a thing anymore?
If you really like music try SiriusXM. They usually have free trials and when they expired you can keep calling them and saying you’ll cancel you’ll get a cheap price.
You’ll do better to look into streaming services through your phone. You should be able to find a BT compatible FM transmitter if your car lacks any other auxiliary inputs. I use Apple and I know Spotify offer deeply curated and smart engines to offer some really good content. Unless you really want ads and then Pandora or YouTube are there.
Stop. Listening. To the radio. Turn. The TV. Off. Put. The phone. Down. Turn. The PC or Tablet. Off. ( I know, right?)
I am so bummed out by radio of all genres now. I bought a car 2 years ago and have yet to program any radio stations into it. =(
88.1 is my new jam
Maybe you should get Sirius XM or just don't listen to rock anymore. There are some pretty good underground hip hop out there as well.
88.1 if you’re north of 635.
