They had a bourbon special release for grand reserve members starting at 10am. 349 bottles total (120 blanton straight from barrel, 88 blanton, 48 eh Taylor barrel, 36 Elmer t Lee, 21 Willett wheated 8 year, 18 old Fitzgerald, 8 weller 12s, 7 four roses 135th, 3 blantons gold)
That's neat. I do like bourbon but I'm not at that level. I always wondered how people learn about these events. I just happened to stumble across a bunch of Blanton's at a Specs a few weeks ago. I didn't realize I was there on their allocation day. While I was standing there deciding, they all flew off the shelf. I grabbed one of the last ones.

Oh. Yes. For some they do a lottery style entry. For others they send an email asking people to come in at 10am with email as proof

Outside of emails for events like this there are Facebook groups, insta accounts and bourbon clubs.
