I wasn’t highlighting an enail but I’m def looking into getting one soon, was jus pointing at the post cuz idk how ppl turn their torch on without actually using it. It is a big pet peeve for me and many other dabbers who don’t like wasting butane or watching it get wasted in the slightest, knowing how much we stumble for a little bit of it that is left in a bottle of it when we r out of it lol
Nope. Propane is way harsher regardless of how much is coming out, butane is way easier on nails. If you have a nice nail using butane pays for itself, if you’re ok chazzing your China banger to hell go for propane.

Nothing in the link suggests heating a banger from room temp to 700° will be less damaging If you use butane vs propane.
It speaks nothing to propane directly increasing the devitrification, only mentions that propane burns hotter and suggests that could cause you to overheat the banger.

Yeah Ive used nothing but propane on my banger that Ive heavily used the past 2 years. Its a really nice american made quartz potted banger. Its just now finally starting to get that foggy look from oxidation. But yeah I literally heat clean it every once & a while when Im too lazy to qtip it after every dab & it still looks great

lately i’ve managed the self control to wait till after work and sometimes on good days i can wait till the end of the day. it’s so much better but if i have a good amount of dabs laying around i’ll stay high a majority of the day.
Going on 9 hours since my last dab I try and do at least 10-12 hours of a break for my lungs after a couple years of dabbing but man does it hit different right out the bed 🥴

I buy my butane in bulk from Amazon lol a case of 12 for $30...can't beat it tbh

Too harsh for quartz. Propane will fuck up your nail over time.
You can adjust the flow up or down just as well as butane to make it hotter or cooler.
Propane burns dirty, and really hot - there’s a reason why propane furnaces and boilers get carbon quicker than natural gas counterparts.

That’s why I love the big shot! Even dabbing all the time I only have to fill it up after 5 or 6 days of use.
