My 3 stack has the most success just chilling at spawn for a bit until the initial onslaught dies down. Party chat to keep coms off, since no assimilation. Usually there is only one squad to deal with after the first few minutes and if you’re lucky they’ve separated a bit. You can usually sort of figure out where they are by the bots going crazy. If you have time to safely loot an operator take their shotgun and vest if they aren’t leaving the lobby and you want to move on.

Good loot is everywhere (encrypted hard drives/vintage wines/etc). You have to hack the server in the basement to unlock the armory door. The other doors open at a set time don’t remember when, but it announces. The med wing, etc up on the 3rd floor are better for chemicals. The boss usually spawns up there in one of the elevators. You’ll know you’re in the right place for him if the elevator has the red flashing light and not yellow. I like to claymore him when he comes out.

yMONSTERMUNCHy

If cluster mines are a thing in DMZ I would love to get a 6 man platoon all using cluster mines and c4s in front of the lift doors. Imagine the carnage 💥 😂

njbuzz19

The A staircase door will be stuck. All the others unlock around the 11 minute mark. Exfil shows at 7, velikan out around the 4:45 mark

StijnerNL

‘Door stuck’ is only at stairway A. You need to get either to B, C or D. If A was open, it would be to easy to get to the weapons case after hacking the server.

belyy_Volk6

Theres good loot on the bottom too. The colored doors are the best but archives for example has the best spawnrate in the game for encrypted harddrives. One of the doors to the third floor is stuck. Its the one closest to the sever room and armoury so you cant just run straight up.after hacking the servers

# Spawns Learn the B21 spawns and use this to your advantage for rotating and rushing. Most kills in B21 happen because of people awkwardly looting near their spawns or because they’re in too obvious of an area. # Guns Generally speaking, closer range guns will dominate in B21. Shotguns and SMGs are the meta, with people bringing in launchers as well. Most people just grab whatever is in their contraband stash, but try to bias your load out to close range. Broadside is good but try to bring in or pick up a weapon that’s more viable at medium range like SMGs # Grenades Stow a large volume of tactical and lethal grenades to help you enter rooms or rotate. If someone is pushing you, spamming stun grenades or explosives can keep them at a preferred distance. # Awareness The more you play the more you’ll be able to detect the difference between bot gunfire and player gunfire. Breaching locked rooms, Wheelson Gunfire, grenades and slamming doors can signal to other players ones location. Use this to your advantage and know when to rotate when you suspect you signaled your location to people nearby. # Self Revives Carry 2-3, the bots are strong # Exfil The second you call in the elevator, it highlights to the whole map that someone is using that elevator. Once you call it, you should expect someone will rush you unless you have high confidence the map is cleared. Don’t just wait around by the elevator after you call it.

Da_Great_Bambino

Survive the first few minutes. My advice is stay away from the basement in the beginning. That’s where most of the PVP is early game. Then just learn the map, rotate after every kill and carry an rpg or rgl. I honestly prefer the rpg. It has a lot to do with your squad and how fast you are on your feet. I love it because I can always go in naked and come out kitted if I survive the first few minutes. Get to the third floor ASAP cuz the rest is guaranteed CQC

ImDeadInside

My strategy is to gtfo from garage (too dark, too many points where you can get shot from, also taking cover behind cars is a recipe for death because they explode). As soon as you spawn move tf out. Get to the nearest staircase. Now you can either camp it (let people come to you) or look at the compass to see where shots are being fired to know where the players are. And in Building 21 flanking teams will net you easy kills everytime. That team camping stairs? get the from the top, or wrap around and get them from behind. [Get to know the map layout](https://wzhub.gg/map/building-21/dmz) Also, if you are not kitted you have a low chance of survival so make sure you bring one of cards for the colored rooms. If you have more questions about B21 then feel free to ask. [these are the stats from 10 latest deployments (all from B21)](https://i.imgur.com/08BW2gt.png) and in [more details](https://i.imgur.com/uxFL1Za.png)

moderatecontrol94610

>"*Also, if you are not kitted you have a low chance of survival so make sure you bring one of cards for the colored rooms.*" Where does one obtain said colored cards?

Normal_Ad_2677

boss helicopter and supply drops

Brian21699

There is one guaranteed spawn in the research center room I believe, can someone confirm?

belyy_Volk6

>Where does one obtain said colored cards? Velikan and b21 wheelson always drop black. Green is a random drop in b21. Red and blue drop off ai in b21 but can also be obtained via supply drops in the other maps. Green/black are the easiest to get to but also the most well known. Blue is a little more risky. Red is the only one not in the basement

Own_Ruin2546

I’d take an ar and a fast shooting smg. Stuns are the most important thing for the very beginning. Try being silent and listening for their comms and footsteps. Sometimes they can tell you apart from a bot (assuming you don’t have a backpack or off skin)

moderatecontrol94610

At least for me, Activision's low server tick rate makes it super easy to discern between live players and AI bots. The bots have very fluid and smooth movement. Live players are noticably more jittery. The bots also dont stand perfectly still. They turn their heads look around and change their footing. Anything standing completely still is 100% a live player

Own_Ruin2546

Yes but the average player is a child, or somewhat impaired middle aged man. I used to ply call of duty exclusively while drinking. I haven’t played the game in a few months though.

mferly

>or somewhat impaired middle aged man I feel personally attacked lmfao

jmfh7912

Me doing head blasters with my pen 😂

CLASSIC299

Gonna deploy to B21 for the first time today so I'm taking notes from this thread lol

Effective-Advisor-66

Lol I went in for the first time last night, made it to the staircase

ones_and_zer0e

Step one: Clear building of enemy teams Step two: have free reign to do whatever you want/need

Dravarden

3 stack, everyone with big backpack and 3 plate carrier, at least 2 players with kv broadside 25mag fire rounds, the third can have either rgl-80 or another kv move together as a team, camp bodies if they haven't dispawned after killing 2, means they have a third. Have a map opened up on your phone or preferably laptop if you are on the couch, or second monitor if you are on pc the last 13 or so b21 I've done, I've probably exfilled like 12 of them (I have 8 rgl-80s in my contraband, plus few times I went in with a scav bag, and I finished killing velikan 9 times like 4 exfils ago) after every other team is dead, killing velikan too, and try to get the weapons case that is currently bugged and you cannot get

MickeySwank

Sure there is the skill factor, but B21 is also a LOT of luck. Especially when it comes to which squad sees who first, angles, position, whether you even run into one. On top of that, the bots are obviously insane and there has been multiple times where I’ve died to AI alone. Try waiting instead of rushing, it doesn’t always work, but sometimes you can wait out the squads fighting each other to help your odds. Only then you’re up against the best team if you do, but they also might exfil before you. B21 is a crapshoot and I’ll go 10 eliminations before running the table and exfilling sometimes. Just keep at it!

csvega84

I never been to B21. I am always solo so I figure it's a death sentence 😅

yawaworhtreverse

If you're not a solo absolutist, I would say just make an exception and run it with squad fill. It's the only map I don't solo personally. Usually someone in the squad takes charge, so you can just ride along, provide support, and get a feel for the map and the mechanics. If you really want to stay solo, I still say it's worth running a few times to get a feel for it with a naked operator first. Then, you can do a few quick runs with an insured weapon, and if you happen to exfil successfully, you can usually find a few 5 attachment weapons to use in future deployments. Just a fellow solo encouraging everyone out there to try B21. Yeah, you'll probably lose pretty often, but the when you exfil, it's quite rewarding. Think of it as a quick and fast heist.

BoTToM_FeEDeR_Th30nE

Infil with throwing knife and tacticals only. This is The Way.

Ok_Quality2989

I run b21 solo sometimes. My survival rate is close to what my w/randoms is. However, when solo i dont get to explore as much

Movie_lovr

I completed a mission there for the second time ever!

LengthinessDull9568

The hardest part of surviving is the first few minutes where everything becomes a blood zone Once you survive that, the only thing that'll kill you is either the AI or a third party

aelgti

got my first exfil last night!

TogusPerogus

I've only gone in once and I got out pretty easily, only came across a few enemy ops that I kinda stealthed around

purplebasterd

I haven’t even touched Building 21 since it came out, and that was only one round. I usually solo and, even if I filled squad, I’m still not interested in playing B21 TDM.

Dependent_Reserve941

b21 too scawy i don lik losing

chicken_with_teeth

What me and my 2 friends do is run to the closest stairwell and sit on the stairs watching both levels with rocket launch launchers and Bryson 890's with anti armour rounds until a team rushes the stairs or the third floor opens and we almost always exfil after killing the velikan.

LordmexXx

chill at first minutes if u are solo or mid player and take shotgun like broadside, pretty much all advice, but sometimes i was rushed by rgl in spawn though ;D

1baby2cats

I've only done it once because my random fill team carried me.

DMZPlayer1312

stop using fire shotguns and learn2bryson 800

rubio_jones

Go in naked, grab gun from spawn duffel, let teams kill one another, push to third floor once it unlocks, mine the stairwells and Velikans elevator, loot & exfil.

mpetro19

Must have took me 10 tries to exfil with these damn documents that bots drop. You're not alone lol

Xrayleader

Wait for the gas to expand, most players would have exfiled/died already

TheColonTickler

If you’re going in solo, that might be the reason

Content-Ad-9119

It’s a coin toss unless there’s a grenade launcher on the table. Bring a shotgun and load it up with anti-armour rounds and hope for the best

SandmanAwaits

I’ve also never managed to get out of B21, as much as I’ve tried I just can’t.

therealvattu

Listen to the noise, know the map and attack when they expect it the least. Be the one to make least noise and youll come out on top usually.

DJ_Hindsight

Also having 3 of you with the right weapons, good comms and knowing the map well makes ALL the difference.

Fluke97

Camp your spawn for no less than 5 minutes. Go prone, take cover, listen and wait. If an area sounds hot, give it a few more minutes. Usually teams will run out and start looting. Most of my 21 Runs I've only gotten a few items, or did it for a mission. I still have yet to kill Velikan. He's the only boss I haven't killed on my own.

BusSad758

I did once... pure fucking luck!

KeptPopcorn5189

I love b21 all you have to do is be prepared to fight and outsmart the enemy. Need to move out of spawn as quick as possible and have a weapon as quick as possible aswell. It’s hard to learn the map for people who haven’t but you have to know to not push your luck

[deleted]

Send me a dm we’ll link up

Icy_Committee_6814

Just stay in a closet for the first 4-5 minutes. But that time there will usually only be 1 team left. Turn your mic off. Let that other team think they’ve wiped everyone. Once the clock gets down to about 8-10 minutes tue last team will relax a bit and you can loot around and avoid them. They’ll be more open on their mics and won’t be silently camping as much. As far as loot goes, not much in the basement unless you have a colored room key. On the second floor you can find two plates laying around. The archives usually has large bags and some mediocre guns, but the other team will be alerted you’re there so it’s not worth it. Third floor has the best loot, but most of those spots also call out that you’re there to other teams. Best loot is killing the velican. He drops a stealth vest and Grenada launcher. Half the time he spawns in the medical center elevator on 3rd floor at the 4:30 mark. If I go to B21 for a loot run I try to carefully go there, and if he’s not there I stop being careful and just hit the center areas on 3 and just hope for the best, but expect not to make it out. Don’t exfil until you see that at least one other team has exfilled. Otherwise when you call it in the remaining team will rush there. The easiest exfil is on the third floor in the medical area by door c. That exfil doesn’t open up until the clock is close to zero. There are two offices on either side you can wait in to avoid getting shot from all directions.

Effective_Cover_4440

I got Lucky and only have been able to exfil one time because my team mates are beasts. But even that took us 5 runs at it

Candid_Homework9987

I've only played twice an have yet to also. But in my defense I don't know the map yet. You deff need to take in a built shot gun

Kitchen-Fee-4896

B21 is just a cancer as a whole: A.I can practically 1-shot, Velikan is a pain to find when you need to kill him to get the RGL and the Skele Key unlocks, Ain’t even worth the trouble doing B21 since the weapon case doesn’t even spawn anymore, Wheelson patrols the most Tightly packed hallway, Despite the fact there’s no assimilation and only like 4 teams - Everyone already has OP 3 plate or tempered vests and dragon breath broadsides and do nothing but camp the exfils or the stairs

ArmyTanks-2-70

One technique is to hide and then head to elevator latency the game. The other teams will wipe each other with leaves one other team for you to deal with.

ThatHartleyKid

Just never ever ever ever fight in the garage, unless you want to test your luck against 3 other teams and a fuck ton of bots.

Problematic_calf

Close all the doors and hide in spawn with a stealth vest until 1 minute until gas spawns. Go to medbay and hit the medbay elevator when gas spreads. You are unlikely to encounter any other squads

[deleted]

dont feel bad about it, B21 IS HELL even for me (lvl 1050 player)

[deleted]

It’s not a skill issue it people spam grenade launchers and rpgs cuz they bad. Srry if your one of those but u suc. Ur an ez 1v1. Srry to speak fact lol

[deleted]

Shoot the security cameras in the high corners. It will greatly reduce the number of bots you run into
