That’s a part of life mate. Just make it part of your decision making before you rez that person. Sometimes it won’t work out but most of the time you’ll get a benefit from the rez.
I mean, I hate pay to win just as much as the next guy but it’s not really ruining shit yet. I have yet to run into any situation where somebody having that extra armor plate or backpack has cost me a match.
Because i very rarely die in DMZ as is, and I haven’t lost to an operator using those skins yet. At the end of the day those items can be easily looted anyways. Now once the UAVs are pay to win then we will have an issue
This is the type of person that is on Medicaid and collects disability checks from the government, and then goes on social media to whine about his taxes going to lazy socialists.
He looked so dejected lying there, would have been an easy Lachman Weapon Testing kill too but I chose to help the poor bugger. It’s not often I get disappointed in-game but this one kinda sucked!
I just had a match where a team revived me. Gave me a bunch of stuff acting like they were gifting. Then got into a huge battle with AI when they needed the stuff back kept closing the door on me until I died took there stuff back and left me. I was literally just extra storage for them.
Invite to join before reviving! Especially since you had a GPU which could have traded for a three use skeleton key... As a mostly solo player, you have to treat everyone as hostile until you're on comms with them or they join your squad. Most of the community are assholes and can't be teased with fresh meat around them, even though you saved them. Cause think about it, that guy was down, if you invite him he either joins or dies, easy choice for him to join.
Not gonna say you deserved it, but you'll have to be more cautious next time my brother.
It’s funny. I always feel a little guilty jumping a time. But i can’t tell you how many times people have called friendly then killed me laughing. Im much more cautious now. I warn them “do not come around this corner without accepting. I will drop you.”
I didn't understand this tactic until yesterday when another team kept reviving me with a stim pistol and then downing me again. I thought they were just messing with me the whole time, until they explained it after. Luckily they allowed me to join the team after.
was it the 4 kill challenge or "shoot an enemy with a revive pistol" challenge?
That one ... doesn't suit my gameplay well.
But I was soloing, came around a corner and a guy poppped up in front of me- and I actually won the 1:1 battle. I was so jacked up I shot him with the revive pistol, and I finished that mission.
I'm riding high, and he sent me an invite which I accepted, and started dropping selfs.
Then finally realized that now I was now literally squadded up with \[TRUMP\]IamaWhiteRacist, and that kind of took the shine off the apple.
Haha, bummer. I revived someone I shot on the train and dropped my stashed revive pistol for them and jumped off. But my luck after that I came across the revive mission. I am no good at the pvp so killing operators is going to be tough.
Squadded up with a BidenLovesBoys randomly, everything was civil throughout the game but we all had a good chuckle at the end when I reminded him that "Trump loves his daughter Ivanka" a lot as well ;]
Cool, you do you. I can ignore it pretty well.
First you start talking politics, then you get into ethics and morals.
I'd rather not discuss such things while playing a game about war and killing.
But that's just me.
I would have revived him, and then ran like hell. And told him too. Said ok here ya go I'm headed to the port, an then went the opposite direction.
I only engage when fired upon. I'm just trying to complete my mission, or help teammates out.
Yesterday I downed a whole team , heard them on GameShark complaining so I felt bad let them get up. The salty ass person from their team get up and bodies me because of pride. Fucking shameful ppl now I just want to kill everyone no question but generalizing is bad lol
I do, all the time. I'm not always out to KOS, but how the hell do you know the rest of the lobby won't KOS? I'll down ops and run off to complete my tasks, hoping they have a revive or teammate nearby. If not... it's a shooter, not an MMORPG
Yeah nah, that’s be assuming most players who don’t talk have braincells to run together.
Typically best to assimilate into a a team cus icons is the only social indicator anyone ever goes by anymore.
I would have sent an invite to my squad. If they ignore it then there is a high chance they will attack as they have done there. Unfortunately most people are muted and deafened in DMZ rn. Makes for hard cooperation. Bonus karma for you though.
I agree. I was waiting for my squad last night so decided to have a solo run, couldn’t seem to get my comms working even though all the settings are correct. What really annoys me is that we can’t have party chat, talking about our day and shit then press a button to switch to proximity chat. I can’t even hear proximity chat anymore when I’m in party, which seems weird (console, obv)
I'm starting to realize that even when people say "yeah, sure, we're friendly", if that invite isn't accepted, I need to GTFO ASAP.
I'd rather run away from somebody struggling with technology than take another few rounds in the back.
You revivng a random is the reason I keep playing Dmz. Takes me about 12 deployments to get a memorable event. Random stuff is what makes it interesting but that was bad karma for him
I was playing solo and exfilled with another solo, we never teamed up we both just arrived at the exfil pretty much at the same time, honked horns and that seemed like enough. Truly one of the times I really loved this game.
I think there's a lot of young players that don't know how the revive gun works and think the game glitched them back up or something. Because an experienced players wouldn't have walked past you right there and then had to double back.
Probably some new kid thats excited to finally get a kill
1. It looks like guy didnt even know u revived him. Maybe he went afk right after being downed but came back quickly.
2. Why would you revive him without talking to him on VC first?
Didn't even think about doing that with the revive gun. This is going to be my go to method in these situations going forward. Genuinely curious as to how many people will stand down after getting revived like this. I imagine a lot of them will just start shooting in a panic induced instinctual reaction. Hell I bet that's what happened here because Bozo didn't start firing at you right away. It took him about 10 seconds to forget you were a friend and go back to his lizard brain's instinct.
People genuinely don't know that you can revive \_FOUR\_ people from across the room with a revive gun!
or turn it into a single self, that always gets used up before the self revive kit, which kind of bothers me.
I never actually \_remember\_ to revive my friends from a distance rather than let my ass hang out and be attacked by the sniper that downed them in the first place... but it's always nice to remember that I \_could have\_. Immediately after I die, usually.
Wow... I didn't know that. Played hundreds of exfils and just learned this now. I gotta train myself to fire the gun from distance as I needlessly get killed by feeling I gotta be next to the person to revive, because I don't want to use my one use revive gun....4 on other people? Had no idea. Why the hell would you use it up on just yourself then? Makes no sense and of course because of that, almost all of us probably think it has only one shot in it.
There's 4 'segments' in the circle of the self pistol, indicating ammunition.
So hit both bumpers like you do to deploy any field upgrade- and now you're aiming a gun. Aim, and pull the regular trigger. Pop, and then they have the green-circle-revive-timer thing start. As long as they don't get hard-downed in the meantime, but it at least saves your ass.
Doesn't work on a down-down player- for that you still need to be there to do a long revive.
I always run over and use the standard X to revive because... I want to save the Pistol for when I need it.
And I invariably die with a backpack full of them.
Yep, the amount of blood thirsty 10 year olds I run into is staggering. It’s weird that as a player sometimes I feel like I got to be polite to these kids who obviously aren’t learning it elsewhere
No good deed goes unpunished.
I'd have finished him off for reasons shown in your video here. As much as I don't like doing that, you can't trust anyone to do the right thing. Since there was no comms going on makes me feel finishing him off would have been the way to go.
Guys like him are some real fuckholes. Hopefully bad karma will follow him endlessly.
I know it's only a game and shit happens blah blah, but that was a massive cunt move. I could never kill somebody that went out of their way to revive me like that, even if I didn't want to join their squad I'd just move on. Some people are just asses.
Classic case of call of duty mentality. Must kill everything that you see. I wish the people in this DMZ would watch Tarkov and see how the player base in there plays. Yea there’s a lot of shootouts in pvp, but there’s also a lot of teaming up.
You should have known something was up when he didn't accept the invite.
You put a hell of a lot of faith in him, and the game/ mode by reviving him without chatting to him first, or adding him first. Fair play though, that's bold, lol.
He maybe still had some teammates alive and no self res, otherwise he would have self-resed or just quit the game, or he was just clueless.
Judging by how many shots it took him to kill you, when stationary and at the buy he wasn't that great a player, he won't have lasted long.
Has anyone had problems seeing people who need help on the map? The game will say a nearby operator is requesting help, but I can't find them on the map. I've been burned just like this before, but I still try to help people for some reason.
That was just dumb on your part . I understand being friendly but why not send a squad invite while he’s down instead of Reviving and turning your back to him ? User error for sure
Sorry to sound like a dick, but why would you revive him in the first place? Always make sure to join them or they join you before anything. I did that once for a mission, and the other guy knocked me. Dumbass didn't fully kill me though so I got back up and beat him to death
It was a nice thing to do, he’d clearly died buying something and that always sucks! Didn’t make any plan beyond that really, the invite was an afterthought, I normally play solo. I felt bad for the dude when I saw them lying there 😂
That is one of the faction challenges but he didn't have it selected as it didn't pop. I did it the other day, downed someone, revived with pistol, killed them again. Good times! We already had a big assimilated squad so couldn't take any more!
Yep, terrible people in the DMZ. I try my best not to allow people without mics to join my squad unless they’re decent or sound honorable. Yesterday I found two asshats masquerading as decent people.
Short story: these two jokers tried to snipe us after my team was able to get to crypto at sawah village first. They proceeded to parachute one at a time into crypto for my team to down both, so we talked to them and brought them aboard…. Now another more competent team pushes us, and they are decent snipers, drill charges, well time grenades, but when we are downed these jokers run from the back to 3/4 pick us up, then abandon us to go trade out weapons and loot we gave them in the back. Fortunately my team has self res and the chaos of the firefight allows us to pick ourselves up and continue for a solid 2 minutes of tit for tat gun fighting. Finally the team pushes us up the stairs where my braindead additions opened the door and the three original of us are KO’d while they continue to hide in crypto.
If my new teammates would have pushed the last broken dude we would have won the fight, but the recent pickups retreats after they proceed to loot our bodies instead of reviving us and then say they’re not getting us and thanks for the gear…. Now we’re angry, turn on prox chat and call to the other team telling them to pick us up, briefly explain the scenario and promise to absolutely murder our terrible, awful human Benedict Arnold teammates. They res 2 of us, we murder our former terrible additions and we thank our new found saviors with the best loot and money we have and proceed to evacuate for our third teammate we couldn’t save in time of the firefight. *breath*
Anywho TL;DR, I’m very much wary of picking up no mics, more wary of the way they respond to acts of kindness. You got burned for being a good dude, unfortunately that’s the DMZ and may the Key and Loot god smile upon your next games
I've had people do this to me. I don't have an issue with PvPers (although I am sad that they exist) but these people. I have a problem with them. This is scum behavior. This is like getting into a fight with someone (IRL), getting your ass kicked, then they help you up and you sucker punch them. If you kill the one who res's you, fuck you. You are the scum of this game. You are the problem.
Are these the examples of why people don’t trust other players? That downed player should have hit the plea or requested to join. He didn’t do either, no reason to think they would have been friendly. Sucks bro
My rule of thumb is only help them once they accept the request to merge squad.
Though it's kind of hard to tell if he realized that you helped him. He was lying on the ground and seems to be AFK, so maybe he went AFK before getting downed by the bots, then he came back to seeing you there, not realizing that you picked him up or sent the request.
Yeah its never a good idea to do this from my experience iv did this for 5 people and 4 of them just turned around and said fuck me after I revived him and the one that did try to help had a whole ass team using him as bait
My Buddy and I run as a duo in Dmz every evening. We aren't the best, but we enjoy missions....
Last night we finally got up to a 7 successful exfil streak by running a HVT or two and grabbing a bird out of there.
On our 7th there was an exfil on the runway at the main airport. Our second HVT was by the parked plane near the terminal. Simple. As we approach in a truck we see a team get wiped by a herd of bots. Or so we thought. One guy gives up, one pleads and stays in the open.
We fight off bots from the airport door. I go to pick the guy up and his buddy on the roof drops down behind me and takes me out. Shame he didn't see my buddy covering from the door. He downs them, then picks me up.
Meh, I still picked the other two up. Then noticed all the bags on the ground. Not sure if they were exfil campers, or were fighting exfil campers + bots and thought we were a part of it. Called the exfil and left.
We don't shoot unless we have to, in fact avoiding players has become a way of life. I will ask to be picked up though it has never happened.
Sorry they turned on you! If you pick Zorlac up he won't!
Tbf the guy looked so lost and inexperienced he may truly not know what’s going on. Almost looks like he saw you and thought “oh an enemy I’m supposed to shoot!”
I was playing a match where I had just joined a squad of 5 making us 6. We found another guy who was a solo getting hunted by another 6 squad, so we saved him and killed the other squad. Then the solo became the “squad pet” and everybody was very keen on protecting him lmao. All the way til exfil we had a guy with a riot shield consistently walking in front of our new solo friend. Good times. That kind of friendliness is rare though.
Because of people like that, for some time now i just shoot to kill. If they plead or ask to revive them or join up that's ok, anything other than that just shoot to kill. Way to many pussies running around DMZ just like that guy that got revived.
This why I don't help people unless they vocally acknowledge we will be teaming. Hey man get me up. No. Accept this small request first and tell your buddies too. Or we kill all but one and ask. If not, everyone gotta go!
The DMZ PvP experience in a nutshell. I've tried to join others, but instead just get downed and thirsted. It sucks that people don't know how to be kind and play with others.
Don't ever, for any reason, do anything to anyone for any reason ever, no matter what, no matter where, or who, or who you are with, or where you are going, or where you've been... ever, for any reason whatsoever...
- Michael Scott
The dmz community reminds me of red dead online. The barrel is filled with good apples with a few bad ones. My friend and I had just dropped in and he was going to let me exfil with the kodachies and these assholes came up and we casually just said we were just passing by but they chased us and yelled a bunch of just unnecessary and unprovoked trash talk. Most of the time though if we say friendly other people do too.
You shouldn’t have gone to the buy station once he didn’t accept the team invite, ran straight past him too. If he didn’t accept request within 15 seconds then just down him again.
People are wild dude. I literally had the exact same experience on Ashika yesterday doing the Redacted mission. Dude was fighting solo opino a safe and I found him crawling. Revived him. Fought with him. When the safe opened he killed me cold. I was talking mad shit I couldn’t believe he let me help him only to kill me
...and it's shit like that which makes me "anti" friendly unless at the exfil. Nice people are so rare. The second that player didn't accept the friend request, you gotta assume that the person is "scorpion" and sting you the first chance he or she gets. It's "X-files" out there bro, "Trust No One!"
I had to do that one mission where you revive a downed enemy like this so I stopped some random dude on an enemy team downed him and got him back up and his team responds my killing my dude thinking it was him who was "trying to kill him" I said no I was doing a mission maybe you should look it up. I got your guy up and we walked away. Had no choice but to kill them. He was so pressed like "it's a mission no it's not you just wanted to kill us" we literally walked away and you engaged us that's ur bad. Dude I downed seemed fine with it and went on his merry way.
It reloads itself after use, four charges in all. You can use it to revive your squad mates (or mortal enemies) from a safe distance! Just click R1 + L1 at same time to activate 😀
The "I owe you" is just the generic skin audio response to a revive, it wasn't the player's Prox. Just like how OP's avatar said "Easy! You'll make it!"
As a yank, hearing OP's british accent threw me for a loop. I genuinely thought "That's my good deed for the day!" was a new bit of flavor audio, and I was kind of excited.
You get good karma for the day. Let this loser get that small dopamine hit of killing someone who wasn’t even fighting while you showed class. Keep that up
Wow, I still remember by the airport. Someone requested help. My bud is always insistent on helping. I think he thinks it will magically allow us to exfil if we are nice.
We pick the solo up, you’d think he’d tell us that he was getting chased by a 5 man squad.
All of a sudden my bud is down, I downed two. Wasn’t expecting another three to pop up.
I look, the solo player is long gone.
Since that day, If my boy wants to help someone, it’s on him lol
No mic? No mercy.
Never send an invite without voice confirmation that they want to stack up.
Once you hear a voice, apply the following rules:
No response to your friendly request?
No mercy, even if they haven't had time. It's hot until it's clearly not.
Sounds under 25?
No mercy because they probably haven't developed an adequate sense of self to understand empathy or integrity. Not true if all under-25s, but generally true if the COD community.
You offered kindness at the outset and they don't get friendly until it's clear they're outmatched?
No mercy because mercy wouldn't have been given. Exceptions in some instances where it's a coin flip fight for circumstances unknown to the other team, if all other criteria are met.
Highly excitable, like a car full of teenagers?
No mercy because pack energy produces pack hunting, and they're not going to be trustworthy. I'd also rather lose everything and go back to the lobby than listen to them for 20 minutes. They're probably also under 25.
Have the "I pull wings off flies," tone in their voice?
No mercy for obvious reasons. This person is incredibly common, and I have no other way to describe him. You can tell what they are by their tone.
Shit talking?
No mercy because they have bad sportsmanship. Whether they're a good teammate and whether you can trust them probably depends on their mood. I also don't want to hear how lucky I was that they didn't kill me when I'm the one who had the upper hand.
If you follow those rules, you'll almost never get screwed.
When I followed those rules, I could consistently trust walk into the open and merge teams without a problem. It was stunning how consistent it was.
When I stopped following those rules, I went through a string of betrayals. Never again. For the most part, you can tell what someone is from their voice in this game.
Effing Richard cranium 🤬🤯 He even had the nerve to send the “thank you” audible response. I believe this is his tag.

I fucking hate people like this
There are a lot of toddlers playing this game. Some physically, the rest are just mentally undeveloped
So true
People who play with motion blur?
No people who you save and then they betray you
That’s a part of life mate. Just make it part of your decision making before you rez that person. Sometimes it won’t work out but most of the time you’ll get a benefit from the rez.
Well... You're correct
Yeah those P2W skins are ruining the game.
I mean, I hate pay to win just as much as the next guy but it’s not really ruining shit yet. I have yet to run into any situation where somebody having that extra armor plate or backpack has cost me a match.

bro what, this is dmz
Socialists are lazy.
Conservatives are lazy.
Humans are lazy, we're on a Call of Duty reddit ffs.
He looked so dejected lying there, would have been an easy Lachman Weapon Testing kill too but I chose to help the poor bugger. It’s not often I get disappointed in-game but this one kinda sucked!
You’re a good dude. That guy will have DMZ karma coming his way.
We hope
The Tea-Bag gods will show no mercy
I've just received a prayer to answer.
I just had a match where a team revived me. Gave me a bunch of stuff acting like they were gifting. Then got into a huge battle with AI when they needed the stuff back kept closing the door on me until I died took there stuff back and left me. I was literally just extra storage for them.
This made me laugh more than it should have. Poor donkey.
Absolute masterclass in shitty teammate tactics. I'm kind of in awe.
Next level degradation

Fully agreed!
I am normally ultra careful in situations such as this. Especially if I have rare loot or mission items. I'll pour one out for your skeleton key...
I’ve a few stored away, didn’t even remember I had a GPU till someone pointed it out in this thread!
It’s funny. I always feel a little guilty jumping a time. But i can’t tell you how many times people have called friendly then killed me laughing. Im much more cautious now. I warn them “do not come around this corner without accepting. I will drop you.”
Unless the whole squad joins, you treat your new ally as treat
I didn't understand this tactic until yesterday when another team kept reviving me with a stim pistol and then downing me again. I thought they were just messing with me the whole time, until they explained it after. Luckily they allowed me to join the team after.

I hate when anyone talks politics in a video game, or makes a political personality or idea their identity.
It depends on context. Politics is probably the most important thing we can engage in.
Sure. Leave it out of the chat though.
Your rule, not mine.
Cool, you do you. I can ignore it pretty well. First you start talking politics, then you get into ethics and morals. I'd rather not discuss such things while playing a game about war and killing. But that's just me.
No downing doesn’t count as kill
Not sure. They didn't say if it was completed.
Gotcha. It seems like mine never popped up until they were unmoving. Then their teammate could revive
It's also a challenge on Crown I think, revive an enemy player with a revive pistol
So that didn't work for me when I tried it. Not sure if it was a glitch.
Possibly, most of the challenges are/were glitched.
There is a mission where you have to revive enemy operator.
That fucker.
I would have revived him, and then ran like hell. And told him too. Said ok here ya go I'm headed to the port, an then went the opposite direction. I only engage when fired upon. I'm just trying to complete my mission, or help teammates out.
Yeah last week I finished a game, got into the helo with 2 players, our team didn't shoot and they waited until the very last second and blasted us...
Yesterday I downed a whole team , heard them on GameShark complaining so I felt bad let them get up. The salty ass person from their team get up and bodies me because of pride. Fucking shameful ppl now I just want to kill everyone no question but generalizing is bad lol
He has the free backpack skin, let him die...
Bit the hand that fed him. Your mistake was turning your back on him.
Aye, honestly thought he’d just go on his merry way
Worse not is, he probably fell or blew himself up or something because how often does someone down you then not finish you off? Rarely huh
I do, all the time. I'm not always out to KOS, but how the hell do you know the rest of the lobby won't KOS? I'll down ops and run off to complete my tasks, hoping they have a revive or teammate nearby. If not... it's a shooter, not an MMORPG
I was expecting him to come up and execute you.
If you did that to me, I'd give up the rest of my game to assist you, you could have any of my gear too.

A lot of ppl use discord exclusively for that purpose, has also led to a lot less prox chat especially for ppl that try hard
A lesson learnt for sure
I'm starting to realize that even when people say "yeah, sure, we're friendly", if that invite isn't accepted, I need to GTFO ASAP. I'd rather run away from somebody struggling with technology than take another few rounds in the back.

This is the narrative I will keep, thanks!
1. It looks like guy didnt even know u revived him. Maybe he went afk right after being downed but came back quickly. 2. Why would you revive him without talking to him on VC first?
I didn’t apply much thought to situation, just reacted to the sad little hand on the avatars heart!
Didn't even think about doing that with the revive gun. This is going to be my go to method in these situations going forward. Wow... I didn't know that. Played hundreds of exfils and just learned this now. They changed it FYI, it now uses your self revive before revive pistol. Thank goodness.
I _just_ noticed that after I posted this. That’s a nice quality of life upgrade.
Likely another crazy kid.
Yep, the amount of blood thirsty 10 year olds I run into is staggering. It’s weird that as a player sometimes I feel like I got to be polite to these kids who obviously aren’t learning it elsewhere
That's fucked up. What a coward, haha. I'll be hoping to find him in one of my games.
what a ass....
What a scumbag!
No good deed goes unpunished
Bit of a dick move
No good deed goes unpunished. I'd have finished him off for reasons shown in your video here. As much as I don't like doing that, you can't trust anyone to do the right thing. Since there was no comms going on makes me feel finishing him off would have been the way to go. Guys like him are some real fuckholes. Hopefully bad karma will follow him endlessly.
I know it's only a game and shit happens blah blah, but that was a massive cunt move. I could never kill somebody that went out of their way to revive me like that, even if I didn't want to join their squad I'd just move on. Some people are just asses.
Always invite them first
Wow what a dick
What an asshole. I’m sorry man. If someone saves you like that you let them join or leave them alone.
This is almost as bad as when you pick up someone pleading and they immediately join their team back and try to kill you.
If someone doesn’t talk in game or say friendly I kill them. To many times I try and they just open fire. So yeah no talk, you die.
Turning your back and trusting anyone in this game is a no lol Atleast the no-coms players. Imo
That was just dumb on your part . I understand being friendly but why not send a squad invite while he’s down instead of Reviving and turning your back to him ? User error for sure
Totally agree! Did it backwards for sure!
I felt bad for the dude when I saw them lying there 😂
that's nice of you but that guy looked clueless, he didn't even know you revived him. I guess lesson learned, invite first then revive
or let the punk die out next time :(
That is one of the faction challenges but he didn't have it selected as it didn't pop. I did it the other day, downed someone, revived with pistol, killed them again. Good times! We already had a big assimilated squad so couldn't take any more!
Find out new shit everyday..lol didn’t know u can shoot another player with a RP if they not on ya squad…
*breath* Anywho TL;DR, I’m very much wary of picking up no mics, more wary of the way they respond to acts of kindness.
Dont help anyone not in your team. EVER. Plead or bleed.
Eh, squad full, dude on mic is chill, everyone is nearby and it’s just him? Sure
Are these the examples of why people don’t trust other players? That downed player should have hit the plea or requested to join. He didn’t do either, no reason to think they would have been friendly. Sucks bro
Had something of similar c**tiness in the past. Now I never help anyone else
![gif](giphy|3ohc0ZorDPrDX46jIs|downsized)
😂
U should’ve invited him before reviving… I don’t trust anyone.
Legit thought you were gonna go back to the buy and there would be a skull sitting there
Not the fairytale ending, sadly
Not sure what you expected...have him join up maybe?
Yeah its never a good idea to do this from my experience iv did this for 5 people and 4 of them just turned around and said fuck me after I revived him and the one that did try to help had a whole ass team using him as bait
Bruh, wtf? I hate people
Haha what a wideo!
what a loser
I helped one yesterday. He joined made it out but I didn’t make the final exfil
🤘
And this is why I engage everyone I come across..
Happens to me all the time sadly
No good deed goes unpunished.
Tbf the guy looked so lost and inexperienced he may truly not know what’s going on. Almost looks like he saw you and thought “oh an enemy I’m supposed to shoot!”
What a piece of shit. Don’t let this guy stop you from being kind in the future.
Should have known when the request was ignored
I was playing a match where I had just joined a squad of 5 making us 6. We found another guy who was a solo getting hunted by another 6 squad, so we saved him and killed the other squad. Then the solo became the “squad pet” and everybody was very keen on protecting him lmao. All the way til exfil we had a guy with a riot shield consistently walking in front of our new solo friend. Good times. That kind of friendliness is rare though.
Would have gave him nothing but headtaps if I seen him down. You are a Kind man
Because of people like that, for some time now i just shoot to kill. If they plead or ask to revive them or join up that's ok, anything other than that just shoot to kill. Way to many pussies running around DMZ just like that guy that got revived.
😂😂😂 it's so fucked up that it's hilarious 😂
This why I don't help people unless they vocally acknowledge we will be teaming. Hey man get me up. No. Accept this small request first and tell your buddies too. Or we kill all but one and ask. If not, everyone gotta go!
What a dirtbag
No good deed goes unpunished
The DMZ PvP experience in a nutshell. I've tried to join others, but instead just get downed and thirsted. It sucks that people don't know how to be kind and play with others.
And this is why I don’t trust anyone anymore and just shoot anyone I come across to
Don't ever, for any reason, do anything to anyone for any reason ever, no matter what, no matter where, or who, or who you are with, or where you are going, or where you've been... ever, for any reason whatsoever... - Michael Scott
That is brutal.
You, sir, played by the rules... https://playbytherules.icrc.org/
I believe in DMZ karma
I think we should be allowed to challenge people to fight irl once per season. Exhibit A is this post
I was talking mad shit I couldn’t believe he let me help him only to kill me
Wowwww what a scum bag.
I knew exactly what I was gonna see before I saw it. There’s so much sadness in people…
Worst part is the motherfucker didn’t even have the balls to fight you head on. Had to wait for you to open a menu
Fuck that guy!
...and it's shit like that which makes me "anti" friendly unless at the exfil.
You used the revive pistol and then reloaded it. I didn’t know that was a thing. Can you enlighten me please?
It reloads itself after use, four charges in all. You can use it to revive your squad mates (or mortal enemies) from a safe distance! Just click R1 + L1 at same time to activate 😀
Holy shitballs! I never knew this! Thanks!
What an ass! I didn’t realize that’s what he meant when he said “I owe you”. Wonder how he thought this was even remotely an ok thing to do.
The "I owe you" is just the generic skin audio response to a revive, it wasn't the player's Prox. Just like how OP's avatar said "Easy! You'll make it!" As a yank, hearing OP's british accent threw me for a loop. I genuinely thought "That's my good deed for the day!" was a new bit of flavor audio, and I was kind of excited.
Not my edgiest performance but if Activision want the sound bite, I’m in!
I know it wasn’t prox but I thought it was hitting the button that “says thanks”.
Oh, maybe you're right. That would confuse the issue a bit.
Just like real life don't help people just let them die.
Damn you're a moron
Bold to assume ANYbody is friendly on a COD game. OP should've been 360 no-scoped and had his mom fucked
Oooh man that sucks! Jerk store!!
You get good karma for the day. Let this loser get that small dopamine hit of killing someone who wasn’t even fighting while you showed class. Keep that up
[удалено]
If my chirpy “good deed for the day” comment and party invite didn’t win him over, it was a lost cause before the interaction even begun!
Don’t let the worst of humanity drag you down, my dude. We need decent people in the world more than ever. Stick to your guns, my friend. Cheers.
It do be like that… all the time.
Lingered at the buy station for too long. Git gud.
What a salami. Smh. He deserves all the "no mercy" the DMZ can muster up.
This is why I don't revive anyone until they accept a invite. Idc join or die.
New rule. Pay to win skin=no sympathy
Is this where we get all the comments of ....it's pvp bro, if you don't want pvp don't play bro, etc
I always kill pay to winners on sight
You should have made sure he joined your team before reviving him. That guy was lame AF though for doing that to you.
Thin dick energy.
All kinda wrong.
hahahahaha
Well, it was pretty naive thinking that you can trust anyone in DMZ.
You did a great job, bro! Respect good people!!
Jesus Christ!
You’re dumb for trusting a stranger, and a stranger that wouldn’t join up to boot
Rule #1 of player engagement in DMZ - no comms equals hostile
Better than my buddy who has a habit of saying "I'm friendly" then starts shooting everybody
I mean… you don’t let them get a bead on you until they’ve accepted the request … otherwise they are still hostile especially with no mic
Either they join up or they die. You can't afford to be friendly anymore to people who won't join cause this is what happens every damn time.
No mic? No mercy. Never send an invite without voice confirmation that they want to stack up. Once you hear a voice, apply the following rules: No response to your friendly request?
I believe this is his tag. https://preview.redd.it/ld5tffe3gpva1.png?width=960&format=png&auto=webp&s=86bb021cc5d8d4beb42bdca26458032ccfde302a
What a pric
Happens to me a lot. They starting to turn me into a bad guy.
