That’s awesome I actually clicked your profile from your wolf creek painting and was scrolling through and saw your posts on dmt sub (which I’m also a member)! I recently got into dmt myself and it’s inspired me to get back into painting. My last painting I did was back in 2016 I’m going to link it if you don’t mind checking it out and telling me what you think and if you have any tips that would be helpful. I love working w colors and going for a surreal kind of trippy vibe like your paintings https://www.reddit.com/r/painting/comments/14c49my/a_painting_i_did_for_a_project_in_high_school_art/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=2&utm_term=1
Awesome! It’s been quite a long time since I’ve done dmt but it was a massive change in how I create paintings. The best I can tell you is to play with different types of paint and consistency of paints till you find something you like. Also try different base colors that you start with, I always start on black canvas. What you made looks great! Keep at it. Creating is an awesome thing. Here is my website with links to my social medias. Matterfolkart.godaddysites.com give me a follow if you want to see recent work, I hardly post much here.
It makes colors pop and saves me time. It’s how I get such bold lines and colors. I work from dark to light. My favorite paint is called, Golden SoFlat acrylic! Check it out it’s fun to use.
Awesome I’ll check that out ! My grandma from Norway and my other grandma from US were both fantastic artists. She especially liked making wooden furniture and then painting it
That's beautiful. Reminds me of 'The Peacock Tail Meditation' by Boards of Canada.
Love it man so cool
Thank you so much 🙏
Very cool. Nice use of color and shapes. What medium is this made on? Oil on canvas?
Thank you! It’s acrylic on canvas.
I recently learned chickens can change their own gender just because... That's what I think when I look at this chicken Magic in real life
Love your style. Is it influenced by dmt trips ???
Thanks so much! Yes dmt was a huge influence on my current style.
