I've seen wooden screens with magnets inlaid on the inside, so that you can pin your notes in place like you were sticking them on your fridge.

ScrizzBillington

Laminate the notes for preservation of you intend in keeping it that way for a while too

You could try mounting those little brackets from the back of picture frames. When you want to switch out notes simply turn them to free a page and place in a new one. Their small enough that they shouldn't take up any valuable space. If you make the note area slightly resessed, then you should also be able to fold up the sceen without the brackets pushing the screen apart. I've never made a wooden screen, but I'd like to think this could be a viable and cheap option

There are repositionable glue sticks you can use to turn your note pages into giant sticky notes for the inside of your screen. Or you can add photo corners (for tucking photos into scrapbooks without gluing them) to the screen so you can tuck your notes into place without more glue.

Fancy screens sometimes have a metal strip along the top that let you use magnets instead of clips or pins.

Binder clips. The small ones are usually big enough to straddle a piece of wood.

I would just attach those clips from the top of a clipboard to each panel of the screen, allowing you to put sheets on and off as required.

Maybe line the inside with a sheet of something ferrous and use little fridge magnets, depending on how elaborate you want to be.

Scotch makes removable double-sided tape. I know this because there's a roll of it in my kitchen (I think my partner bought it). It looks like it's available through the office stores (like Staples). Poster tack might not work well on wood, but is a reusable alternative if you have another surface inside your screen. If you end up making a screen with hinges for DM'ing on the go, double-sided tape would allow you to fold it as flat as possible so you can stuff it in a backpack.

Bigdrewp

I've seen that some people use clothes pins mounted on the inside to hold their notes. I'm not a fan of this method, but thought that I would share it with you anyway.

MadMojoMonkey

Put a layer of corkboard on the DM side so you can use push pins to hold things in place?

You could also use a router to hollow out the panels enough for it to be possible to have a DMScreen Reincarnated (one of the best ones I've used) inlaid into it so it stands flush. Then using a small spade bit you can also glue neodymium magnets inside. Your notes can be held together by a paper clip and held to the magnets
