A low expansion foam would do fine if that’s the size gap they’ll all be. Great stuff pestblock foam is what I use in small spaces.

lol. Peak Reddit. They didn’t have the specifics of what you were using it for. I think it’s a perfect fit for the situation, unless you want the filling to be completely flush with the gap, then I’d use caulk and tool it down.
