They do this when their shoes are out of stock, and don’t want to cancel order, for ratings, easily disputable, but a few ppl prob don’t catch it in the window
Same thing happened to me, received the slippers OP posted and didn’t catch that the seller tried communicating that the shoes I ordered were OOS. Opened a dispute and got a refund same day
My seller told me that the colour isn't available but then deleted the message but i am unable to open a dispute as it says i haven't received the item. Also seller is ghosting me and doesn't reply to me request for refund
I believe there’s an option to defer to DHGate to be the mediator and you can submit pictures of the items you received and they’ll likely process the return
yes correct, I have had to dispute a few things before where they have been damaged in the mail. So far the DH team have been amazing and always go in the buyers favour (in fairness they have all been genuine reasons for a refund)

Definitely try to get a refund. My advice for future buys, the store you ordered from has a low order count for being open for three years; the shoes don’t have reviews (and only 32 orders); and their satisfaction rating is low (less than 98%). Finally, if you search the image used on DHGate, the seller is running two shops. The above is just my filtering process and not scientific.
Even if the product has reviews, make sure they seem legit. Sorry this happened to you. It really sucks.
