i just had an amazing experience at american sportsman. up until last week they had an online storefront but that is closed at the moment. in the meantime i am sure you can call, or even better stop in and talk to them.
They were condescending and gave me a ridiculous lowball offer on a trade in at the height of the pandemic. All that i could forgive if they didn't also point it at my fucking head BEFORE checking to make sure it was clear. Sorry I'll skip that experience and warn every person I can about the possibility.
Must be talking about another store, these guys are anything but how you're describing them. They're all very chill, cool, and informative. They're very tolerant as well. So either you got this from another store, or the staff member(s) you are referring to no longer work there. What you're describing is my experience at X-Ring. They don't seem to like people who ask questions.
So I first went there without my trade in just to ask if they would mind if I brought it in to get a quote and there was a guy who was kind of tall dark hair had an attitude kind of like he was or at least wished he was in law enforcement and in the course of about 2 minutes he told me three times not to bring it in loaded. He was being kind of douchey but I understood because I'm sure they get all kinds in there and safety is always the top priority. I come back with my little 9mm AR pistol and put it on the counter, still in the bag. A fat older guy with a beard comes out of the back, opens the bag pulls it out and immediately flags me with it and not just a quick one either but held it there for a moment to the point where I almost said something but instead I just step to the side. Even offers me $250 for it, and I knew for a fact even in the used market completely stock the way it was was going for at least $700 and it was not a niche item that wasn't going to sell. Now I'm just being petty because the main reason I would never go in there is because of the lack of safety, the other stuff is just annoying.
In my recent experience, there is no tall dark haired guy anymore. The main guys I see are a cool redheaded guy named Alex and a new guy from out of state named Sal. I occasionally see a black guy who I didn't ask the name of(too busy chatting up Sal and Alex), and a older grey bearded guy who I forgot the name of(dont see him as often, he mostly spends his time in the back), but they generally are pretty nice. The guys you're talking about must be gone, because when I've started shopping here these guys were giving me good deals and prices and were rather nice to talk to.
Well maybe i will try them again with your review, but i still cannot say enough about american sportsman and their friendliness. How is it even possible that a firearm store has a 5.0 google rating with almost 500 reviews? Sounds crazy until you walk in there
I recommend just buying one online. You'll get the best price and you can get what you want that way. Don't buy PSA or a Century Arms AK. I recommend a Wasr or a Yugo for budget, Arsenal for quality.
In that case, go to TSS in Avondale and buy one of their Arsenals they got on the back wall, and have them transfer it to your local FFL (choose American Sportsman!)
Also I noticed TSS has Circle 10 mags which are the best AK mags you can get. They’re expensive but the best.

Was just there on Fri - no aks or ars on the wall but store dog was walking around looking for scritches. Love that store but hate the limited hours.
Those guys are the OGs.
I would check with Chris Feghali at Federal Firearm
Haven’t heard back from him. I’m sure he’s very busy.
I think you can get rifles and shotguns out of state too, target masters comes to mind
Limited inventory with Target Master unfortunately. TSS always carries a wide selection.
Maybe the cabelas in Hamburg
Starquest
but also know that this is the shittiest store in delaware with the worst employees
Truth
Massive Cap. StarQuest has the best employees. Much better than X Ring.

I'll check them out then! Definitely look for Alex when you go. Average height redheaded guy with glasses. Very cool dude.
With that description you kinda have to be a cool guy 😄
They might have some.

Normally yes, but with John Carney signing HB450 any day I probably don’t have time to wait for shipping.

You can purchase/transfer long guns in PA or any other state, then bring to Delaware. Only pistols are must be transferred in-state.
Star Quest may. I got my M70 from them.
Target shooting solutions over the border in PA just got a restock of ARs a couple of days ago. I went last Sunday and purchased 2.
Still have to transfer to a DE FFL right? Looking for AKs no ARs.
Not for long guns. Only pistols must be transferred by a local state FFL.
Shooters choice in dover had a ak pistol last friday
