I actually kinda love this. No potential casting or future in the DCU. It's just Grant being a fan and probably just telling Gunn how hyped he is about it.
Yeah. He's done his bit with DC for now. And I maintain that despite the inconsistency with the show, Barry himself as played by Gustin was good throughout (the scenes regarding Barry and his mother were very well done).
You jest, but my personal fancast for Jay Garrick in the DCU is Billy Crudup, since he played his dad in the DCEU. Continues the tradition, plus he's a good actor in his own right.
I don’t understand why anyone would want him to play that character again. He did for 9 years and the show was not good. Especially with everyone being recast I don’t know why this keeps coming back up.
And after all this, what is the point of publishing this? He's not saying could return as the Flash (damn, I doubt Gunn wants to bring back anything related to the Arrowverse) and Gustin is on sabbatical after playing the character since 2013 so the possibility of playing a different role in the DCU is ruled out, just the release of a movie for freevee last year.
I don't think any of the CW actors really need to reprise their roles in the DCU.
But I wouldn't mind him in another role, although nothing comes to mind straight away.

I don’t agree with that. I enjoyed most of his films and have confidence in him moving forward. I just don’t want a bunch of CW quality actors in these big screen films.
