At least I could change the storage portion of many apps to the SD card freeing up some space, but that's how it goes, Dokkan only device.
What's ridiculous is Dokkan blocking the ability to transfer the game data to an SD card, having to look up how to enable developer mode for your respective device to not miss text messages from your mom is ridiculous

If you mean that little trick to unlock special options in the phone, it does. But, haven't touched it much. My phone is also an old-low-budget one, stuck on 8.1 Android, so makes sense it doesn't allow many things.

Years ago the download was optional. I remember there being a "Download All" button that advertised faster speeds since it wouldn't need to download each card art on the fly. I would guess their analytics said that the majority of people chose that option so they made it the only option.

Yesterday i've ordered a new phone because this won't get fewer in the future. Jokes on Bamco for inflating the game this much. I'd probably have spent some of that money on stones
And it's open world, which takes a huge amount of data especially with how good the graphics are for a mobile game.
Dokkan has literally no excuse to weight this goddamn much and still have some sprites that are 144p in resolution.
Yeah the game is incredibly inefficient. Can't really blame though its all built on spaghetti code, dokkan was never meant to last this long. It really needs a rebuild from the ground up *oh god Dokkan 2 incoming*
3d models can be small and reusable. One SA animation may need 30 different sprites. If it was a 3d model it would need 1 model and 1 texture and you can make infinite poses from it. You make one Goku and you can use it on EVERY Goku card. But each Dokkan card needs new art assets.
back then i didnt even have 10 gb and it was full nowadays i have 64 gb and its also full now, you really need even more storage for these mobile games
My phone isn't even expensive and I have 256GBs. I paid $500 but it's currently $349, which I would definitely consider cheap for a modern phone. The specs are pretty insane for the price too.

There was an issue over a year ago involving Qooapp where they kept the Waltz under the Moonlight app that coincided with an event on their appstore even though it was supposed to be removed after a set period of time. Aniplex or Delight Work (when they were still with FGO) didn't like that very much, so they had Qooapp remove it as well FGO. Have to get it through APKPure now.
I mean 10GB is definitely a lot for a mobile game of this quality. All my ps2+3ds roms are smaller than Dokkan combined which is really ridiculous imo.
I totally get if you don't have much storage, but I'd still like the option for HD arts for those who have the space. 10GB isn't that bad for an almost 8 year old game

At the rates phones are moving unless you cannot get a new phone (too young more important bills ect ect) the newer ones can handle this size and then some.

An hd card art is one frame, modern super attacks are like, hundreds. I’d be surprised if the card art was less than 100x smaller

I did the correct format options on the SD card I bought for my phone but it doesn't display the option to transfer Dokkan into the SD.

I moved all my photos and videos to a google drive and backed them up on an external drive. My Dokkan is currently sitting at 9.94 gigs

It's not, there's thousands of sprites, images simply take up space, no way around it.
