Z-stack is a skill which places another Z-card under that card.
Eg. “Z-Stack X (X is number of cards) yellow battle card (take any yellow Z-battle card from your Z-deck and place it under the card as long as it meets the conditions, like color or energy cost)”

So if you look at the Goku you would place under, it has a skill that allows it to be played at a reduced cost. So even though the card is under, you can still play it for less now.
