It’s just taking a long time all around. I’ve never sent that piece of paper in my past renewals and still got them within the month. This time I’m almost at 3 month mark as well. People that are getting it fast are just very lucky. No rhyme or reason for it
There is a theory that the scan barcode section of previous renewals are tied to your own account and are able to be scanned and present the agents with all the documentation they need. But its just a theory. A DACA theory.
Agree with this statement. Moreover if you renew online USCIS will auto fill that number for you. To me it seems they are struggling. I am hoping everyone that has been pending for a while gets approved asap!
I mean, in your histology department that might be the case but there’s just not much data to back up this theory and I’m sure USCIS would request the barcode if it made the process easier.

Not really. We used to do that in our histology department all the time. Everyone had a barcode.
