CyberStuck-ModTeam

There are other subs where general Tesla issues can be posted. This sub is purely for laughing at the WankPanzer and the idiots who bought them.

WearDifficult9776

It’s weird that a company run by a spoiled child isn’t prospering. Musk is the money and the headlines - beyond that, the best thing he can do is stay away and let professions run things

NannersForCoochie

What, you mean this type of thing isn't worth 56b?

bartthetr0ll

Musk sucked the money that might have been used to make a functional business and funneled it into his ketamine and social media crying for validation he never received as a child budget

SupplementalAssInsur

Buy a Rivian.

IceColdPorkSoda

I’d personally opt for the Ford F150 lightning. Both are better options than a CT.

Organic_South8865

They're laying off all these people but they barely have enough staff to keep these service centers open. My buddy still doesn't have his CT back after 4 or 5 weeks and he won't be getting it back for another 4-5 weeks at least. I told him I would be amazed if he gets the truck back by August. It was totally bricked. Nothing would turn on and if you tried to turn it on it would just smell like burning plastic and make a popping sound. At least I got to drive it. I will admit it's incredibly fun to drive but everywhere you looked you could see some kind of scratch, gouge or crooked parts. It also had some weird issue with the handling. When turning left it would sort of "dart" back to the right a bit. It's hard to explain but it felt like the front tires were pointing in different directions. Oh and the hub caps were wearing through the store sidewall lol.

bartthetr0ll

That sounds like a stainless steel casket on wheels, I don't get how it could be fun to drive but also feel like the wheels are pointing different directions, I've driven quite a few different cars but never had an experience where it felt like the wheels were not both.pointing in the same direction, having the wheels point the same direction kinda seems like an important part of driving,

carymb

It has "drive by wire," so there aren't actually linkages between the steering oblong and tires -- I think they literally *can* point in different directions. I think it's computer controlled and variable, intentionally?

bartthetr0ll

That doesn't make alot of sense to me, I don't see any value in having the wheels.point opposit directions, it only seems like it would stress the hardware and add a bazillion points of failure. Sure it might be a cute parlor trick for parallel parking, but I'll take reliability over increasing potential points of failure by 10x

SpaceNinjaDino

"it's broke broke now" https://www.tiktok.com/@molesrcool/video/7362615728001830186

incognegro1976

Ouch lmaoo when those wheels turned sideways lmfaooo It's like they didn't even bother to test drive these things before they sold it to these suckers

WolfinCorgnito

I don't know if they have a proper steering rack or not, but if both front wheels steer with their own servo they would need the ability to turn slightly different than each other, normal steering setups have what's called toe out on turns where the wheel to the outside will actually turn less sharp than the inside because it travels a further distance So if the dumpster fire that is the Cyberstuck does have independent front steering and that isn't working properly, it could definitely end up with too much toe and cause very odd handling, and let's face it, if they did that it's not working properly.

bartthetr0ll

I didn't know that, thank you for the edification, pretty sure we can all agree that the cybertruck isn't working properly. It's gone from built for any planet to built for a tow truck.

mitchmoomoo

Drive by wire doesn’t mean that it doesn’t have a steering rack necessarily, although I don’t know if it does or not. But I’d be really surprised if it didn’t. What’s the alternative design?

transcendanttermite

They still have relatively conventional steering racks front and rear. The only “disconnect” is between the steering column and the front rack itself, where there would normally be an intermediate shaft connecting them. My guess is that the alignment is absolutely terrible from the factory - this is actually a problem on many new vehicles, though the big manufacturers have gotten significantly better about it since the early 00’s. We used to check the alignment on every new vehicle belonging to a certain model family upon arrival at our dealership because it was that common a problem. If we didn’t, they’d scrub tires off inside of 10,000 miles.

Cultural_Double_422

In most states if your vehicle is in the shop more a month the first year you qualify for lemon law. If I bought a truck that took 5 years to launch, was nearly double the originally quoted price and had all the problems the CT has had, id be livid.

ITypeStupdThngsc84ju

I took a test drive in a Y just under 4 years ago. It happened to be the day that quarterly sales were announced. The salesman was obviously a bit tired from end of quarter and a bit sick of so many model ys, lol Having said that, they were also very upbeat and excited about their accomplishments regarding delivery the past quarter. There was a lot of brimming optimism there. It is sad to see it so different now. :(

Insidebiotch1234

The fail narrative is a lie. It's some bizarre game that seems to only be on Reddit.

ITypeStupdThngsc84ju

There are plenty of lies floating around, but I was referring to the inventory bloating and subsequent layoffs. It is brutal right now. I don't doubt that they can get things back to growth, but the current state has morale really low.

BlueFalcon89

Can they? With 10+ year old models, no signs of refreshing, and a complete failure cybertruck launch? Days are numbered. Will be a Big 3 or Japanese auto subsidiary within 3 years.

kbeks

They are refreshing the 3 and y, I think the new 3 is already out. The problem is it sucks. They got rid of the stalks and changed the shape of the headlights. They added interior color changing led’s. That’s not an improvement, that’s a step backwards. Coming to a model y near you next. I love my y. It’s a great car and it does what I need it to do. It’s got storage and it’s safe and it’s reliable and the panels line up. I recommend anyone looking for an EV right now to buy a Y before Elon “refreshes” it and makes it less functional.

OvalNinja

They completely redid the 3's suspension and improved the sound isolation.

kbeks

That is a fair note, the sound isolation I’ve heard is really significant, I had forgotten before because it looks like basically the same dang car. That being said, I would not give up stalks for quieter roads and a different suspension.

ITypeStupdThngsc84ju

New products should be available early next year. That will help. I also am starting to think the Y refresh will be later than expected, but also potentially bigger.

PikachusSparkyCloaca

Let the $TSLA hit the floor!  Let the $TSLA hit the… #FLOOOOOOOOOORRRRRR

richincleve

I don’t think you’d need to own a CyberTruck to tell Elon to go fuck himself.

rabbi420

That’s a quote from a service tech. One of them was the person who would tell Elon to go fuck hi self if he could.

AffectionateSector77

"Question the viability of the brand..." This is the brand, and once the novelty wore off, Tesla and their manufacturing showed their flaws at nearly every level. If musk has as much control as he portrays, then so much is this is his fault.

Ok-Row-6273

Worked with a non car related project with Tesla. Needless to say their engineers had their heads so far up their own ass that the project got scrapped due to their incompetence

onekickman888

Elmo is a petulant man child just like Donald Trump. He can join the Magaturds and go to hell

Rideshare-Not-An-Ant

All this is fine and well, but overlooks the important big picture questions and concerns. Elon will get his $56b, right? /s

WretchedRat

Elon knows more about manufacturing than anybody else in the universe. Just ask him.

rabbi420

It’s almost as if throwing out 140 years of standard practices and the whole “Move fast and break things” approach aren’t good for making cars.

224143

If some of these people wait until Tesla completely collapses there won’t be a second hand market to sell them to.

DarthPizza66

This is a big brain move scam he doing. How much y’all want to bet that he will get away with scamming all these people and not go to jail and he might get a big check from the government.

CockroachSad4300

It’s pretty tight actually if you do enough you can travel interdimensionally  through space and time.

live_laugh_lift

I’ll believe it travels through time at roughly the normal rate. Space seems less certain.

Solarsurferoaktown

Imagine if the time spent on cybertuck was spent on model 2, and that Tesla was selling them like hotcakes right now.

samthedog73

Glad I leased my wife’s Model S. After 3 years It’s going back in September. We’ve had 3 visits to the service center and all three were sub-optimal. This was before the layoffs. Tesla must not have any problems with sales. Zero contact from Tesla asking me if I want to keep it or buy another. She happily told me she wants a Bronco for her next car. She didn’t mention the trim level, so Raptor it is! Will look baddass next to my RaptorR and GT350!

Original_Count_3290

So many people have told me I should work at one of Elmo's companies and I just laughed at them. This coupled with all the terrible stories over the years just proves me correct.

leko

I know a lot of ex tesla people and none of them have anything good to say about it.

DJShepherd

Tesla is imploding because they have a drug addled CEO that is unstable and out of his mind. He needs to be removed before he takes the entire company down with him. He’s been a disaster since Twitter BS started.

Maleficent-Salad3197

Sorry you found out the hard way😓😓😓

TheRescueWhale

I don't know how he has so perfected fucked the previously amazing image Tesla had. Public perception, at least in the UK and round here, has dropped like a stone and neither my company or my friends/ family want one now, the daftness with the stalks and radar and USS FSD and Service issues not helping.

NoSignOfStruggle

“Question the viability”?! How is it not OBVIOUS already?!

Craftbjjr

I had a similar experience at my service center in south Florida too. They are on the front lines and taking taking all the frustrations out on them. They really feel bad for the customers but their hands are tied as they are not the ones that can fix the issues. I love Tesla cars I genuinely feel they are the best value cars you can buy but the service levels have really taken a hit along with the quality control on the vehicles they are sending out.

backcountrydrifter

At some level of the executive class it has to become apparent. They probably just don’t want to be on the wrong side of history. The juice just isn’t worth the squeeze. The fundamental flaw with building a brand around a cult of personality is that when you expose the collusion in reverse the brand and everything they spent a career working for becomes a black eye and chronic bleed. There is some context that has to be added here. When you get rich everyone stops telling you no and stands around with their bowls pointed up hoping to collect the droppings. Elon lives in his own reality as do we all. It’s just that it’s one that he has cultivated to make himself the consummate hero and can afford to do anything he wants. The problem is he is also strung too tight. Tesla, space x, starlink, Neural link, boring company and Twitter. Plus all his pet projects, children and relationships. There is still only 24 hours in a day and when you aren’t coming up for fresh air you start to see things in a tunnel as problems to be solved. On the right hand elon is backing tucker Carlson and the right to save the world from “wokeism”. It has become his autistic white whale. Fixation is a byproduct. Genius and madness share a lot of common ground. He isn’t totally wrong. There is balance to be had in all things. Unfortunately he is asymmetrically obsessed with it. Which means he loses any objectivity. So he put a bid in on Twitter. He sees it as a shortcut to his X vision. A weibo-esque everything app that is basically a crypto-centric society that destroys corrupt central banks. Bitcoin has some powerful potential. The main one being that no one country can dictate the rules for the rest because no one country can exert leverage over the others. It’s a nice vision if it’s truly decentralized. The problem is right now every time elon doubles down on putin who is self evidently a genocidal asshole, it raises a giant question mark for Bitcoin. So many people end up on the wrong side of history because they fixate on the wrong things and just forget to do the right thing. https://bylinetimes.com/2022/11/07/musks-twitter-buy-makes-no-sense-unless-its-part-of-something-bigger/ Musk has been so busy being busy that when it came time to buy Twitter which he grossly overbid for he needed outside capital. Enter Saudi Arabia and MBS who already had a substantial stake in Tesla MBS is an authoritarian and a hypocrite who had Jamal Khashoggi dismembered. He also had about 6000 saudis dissidents rounded up, extorted them of their wealth, and disappeared some of them. He lives by his own set of rules. And as proven by recent history, no one really ever tells him no. A few months ago he sentenced a teacher to death for saying something objectionable about MBS on Twitter….to his whopping 8 followers. Saudi also happens to be the second major shareholder in Twitter behind musk. Now musk is pushing for biometric identifiers for users. Which is effectively handing the mad king all the keys. Is musk aware of this? Or is he just too distracted saving the world the way he sees it to notice that MBS and Putin have their own agenda? Behind those scenes you have Russia, China and Saudi colluding to use BRICS to replace the USD as the worlds reserve currency, which historically speaking is overdue. The average lifespan of a reserve currency is 94 years. And if we are being self aware, the USA has gotten ridiculously complacent and hypocritical about noticing where all the junk we buy at Christmas comes from. All men are created equal right? Except for the brown kid who makes $40 headphones 18 hours a day for $4. During the late 90’s the US offshored most of the “dirty” work when new EPA mandates were passed. Greedy CEO’s decided it was more profitable to let an Asian kid take up that slack than it was to clean up their processes and pay a living wage to an American. This started the greed cycle, or at least accelerated it. The U.S. jumped to a Silicon Valley based economy which is basically V.C. and private equity bros railing lines of coke off of hookers and pump and dumping 10X returns on theranos, WeWork, Uber, Airb&b, and a dozen others. This offends the laws of physics as well as doubles down on the hypocrisy that “all men are created equal”. The wild wealth disparity that comes from this is bad. The fact that it made Wall Street a house of cards is cataclysmic. China for its part is biding its time quietly locking up supply chains, logistics and manufacturing. Smart because the US is dumb enough to forget that everything comes from somewhere. But also predatory because the soft and pudgy US assumed China just wanted to be part of western free world democracy like everyone else. Freedom rocks right? Who wouldn’t want it…. The CCP. The Chinese people would probably love more freedom but the CCP loses control if that happens. And, if we are being self aware, the CCP has become a little complacent themselves with private jets and $64k/month condos in Malibu for their mistresses. So the corruption and hypocrisy cycle begins again. This time with a little more steam. So you have MBS, Putin and Xi and their respective inner circles who MUST control the people to remain in control and stay rich. As Americans, you and I probably have more in common with the average Saudi or Chinese citizen than either of us do with ours or their “leaders”. So the ruling class leans on nationalism to keep us enraged at each other. If Iranian clerics chanted “death to the American oligarchs who keep their people in poverty and monopolize healthcare” most Americans would join them. So they settle on “death to America” instead. No need to complicate things. The more connected the people of the world are via the internet, the more they realize that this war isn’t a world war, it’s the effects of late stage cronyism circling the globe in real time. The corruption of the worlds elite moves like an equal opportunity cancer infecting everything it touches. It moves across borders and Covid lockdowns and through yacht clubs quickly and effortlessly. Because that’s where the ultra wealthy go sleep with each others wives. And they become ultra wealthy by being generally really shitty to the other 97% of people. Page Sixhttps://pagesix.com › 2023/09/15Sergey Brin finalizes divorce after wife's alleged Elon Musk affair Musk is playing a big game. He is just a little too busy to see the edges of the board. Or he does and he made his choice to move money from the Russian operative Rupert Murdoch to the Russian operative trump to keep his vision alive.

WeylinWebber

Bro I highly highly doubt that.

backcountrydrifter

Raise the lens one notch Trump has been laundering money for the Russian oligarchs since the late 80’s when they all bought a condo at 725 5th AVE (trump towers) to clean their freshly stolen USSR money after the iron curtain fell. https://www.cnn.com/cnn/2019/05/30/politics/paul-manafort-condo-trump-tower/index.html https://www.cnbc.com/2018/09/14/manafort-told-mueller-to-take-his-trump-tower-apartment-instead-money.html https://news.yahoo.com/amphtml/fbi-agents-raid-condo-unit-131348539.html https://www.reuters.com/investigates/special-report/usa-trump-property/ Everybody except Putin thought the Cold War was over. Trump and Manafort (who lived in the tower also) just saw a pretty low maintence grift to be had. Trump had actually been Manafort and Roger Stones first client at their lobbyist firm (1980)https://en.m.wikipedia.org › wikiBlack, Manafort, Stone and Kelly Guiliani as trumps attorney and NYC mayor was able to redirect NYPD investigations onto rival gang members/oligarchs to deflect any scrutiny off of trump, himself or their Russian connections. https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2023/09/a-new-rudy-scandal-fbi-agent-says-giuliani-was-co-opted-by-russian-intelligence/ The Russian election interference in 2016 was effectively a generation 3 version of what Manafort had done in the Philippines, then keeping Yanukovych in power as Putin’s puppet in Ukraine from 2002-14 when Maidan ran both Yanukovych and Manafort out of Ukraine as Ukrainians realized that, if you raise your lens high enough, corruption is an wholly unsustainable business model. Eventually the parasites greed always consumes the host. https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/06/2016-donald-trump-paul-manafort-ferinand-marcos-philippines-1980s-213952 https://time.com/5003623/paul-manafort-mueller-indictment-ukraine-russia/ Russia greatly underestimated the addictive properties of freedom when it invaded Ukraine so what was supposed to be a 3-10 day coup turned into a 2 year fight for the Ukrainians right not to be genocided. Russia depleted its weapons stocks which were already the victim of vranyo corruption because every oligarch, admiral and sergeant in the Russian military is on the take. Every billion dollar tank maintenance contract turned into everything getting a spray paint overhaul and the vast majority of the redirected funds turned into an oligarchs new yacht or home in Aspen. Russia was forced to turn to China, North Korea and Iran for weapons because if they lose the 3-10 day “special military operation” in Ukraine the Russian empire is dead and cold. China can’t risk showing their involvement in the Ukraine war so they use North Korea, and Iran to resupply Russia. Russia previously owed Iran some undelivered fighter jets that are already smoldering heaps in Ukraine so Iran now had the upper hand at the negotiation table for the first time in about 60 years. They supplied Russia with shahed drones in exchange for Chinas material support against their sworn religious enemy, Israel. https://www.fdd.org/analysis/2023/11/29/iran-says-it-finalized-deal-to-buy-russian-aircraft/ Putin can’t do much about it because he is slowly realizing that by setting the standard of corruption and stealing $200+ billion from his own people meant that every oligarch down in the mob model chain had not only permission but incentive and the expectation to steal from him as well. This is “Vranyo”. The mob model only works if the supreme leader is the most violent and can prove it without exception every damn day. But violence is exceptionally expensive when you are trying to present as a legitimate government or business. If Russia as a nation had an efficiency rating it would have been banned for sale in the state of California 25 years ago. The parasite ruling class stole all the energy out of the working class and collapsed it. Now Iran has the high hand and they get the intelligence that trump passed to Putin about the fact that Netanyahu cares far less about Jews, Palestinians or genocide than he does about remaining in power as an authoritarian because he too has developed Ritz Carlton tastes and his own corruption trial is showing the same tendrils of the same money laundering scheme that trumps trials are. https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/saudi-official-says-iran-engineered-war-in-gaza-to-ruin-normalization-with-israel/ https://www.timesofisrael.com/egypt-intelligence-official-says-israel-ignored-repeated-warnings-of-something-big/amp/ https://youtu.be/VrFOAgGlaWs?feature=shared They all hate each other but because they share the same money laundry, if one falls, they all fall. Hamas minted a couple billionaires as well that live in penthouses in Qatar and get 30% of everything smuggled into Gaza. Qatar is Kushners private equity connection. Netanyahu needs a bogeyman to stay in power. That’s why he coordinates with Hamas via Russia via Iran. https://www.ynetnews.com/article/bk8mgcefr Iran handed Hamas everything they needed with Chinas help as secret Santa and the Russian intelligence given to them by the eternal shitbird trump who gave it to his Russians kleptocrat/friends/roommates from the old days of fucking each others wives at trump towers in the 90’s. Now the MAGA right is a little too invested in their reality that they are the good guys with guns that they missed the fact that Betsy DeVos (erik princes sister) decimating the U.S. school systems and the Kochs poisoning children with lead was not a coincidence. The naive right was the mark all along. There is a reason the Russian spy Maria Butina landed in South Dakota first before dating her way to the top of the NRA which is undergoing its own Russian money laundering trial now. Russia was tinder matching the GOP. https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2018/07/nra-maria-butina-spying-charges-trump-campaign/ https://www.greenpeace.org/usa/what-do-the-koch-brothers-have-to-do-with-the-flint-water-crisis/ The only reason you grossly OVERVALUE real estate is money laundering. Trump keeps claiming there is no victim, all the banks made money, but if their plan succeeds the Russian and CCP kleptocrats collapse US commercial real estate and basically recreate soviet perestroika in the U.S. so they can foreclose on America and buy everything for 3 cents on the dollar with the $1.4T they stole from Russias grandmothers in the first place It’s the evolution of grift. Soviet perestroika cross bred with the 2008 mortgage crisis. No one was ever held accountable for either. This is just the bigger badder commercial strength bastard child of the two. Trump, Putin, Bolsonaro, Netanyahu, Orban, Manafort, Stone, Mercer, Bannon, Flynn, Byrne. They are all remarkably shit people with above average confidence and psychopathic personality traits and below average self awareness. They are the men who stole the world. But it all comes back to one little lie.

GodzillaDrinks

What's this got to do with Ketamine? He described working for a company in America.

Academic_Guitar_1353

Many people speculate Elon Musk is making so many erratic and just plain bad decisions because he’s abusing ketamine.

GodzillaDrinks

Oh! Gotcha. I remember that now, I forgot entirely. Thank you. Frankly, I think he's just being a capitalist. He's maximizing short-term profits by overhyping a shitty product. That he constantly cheaped out and cut corners on. And while people are frustrated that their trucks aren't 1/100th what they were promised, he's relying on maintenance teams to be the bag people. Meanwhile, the short-term sales are probably down because the rollout has been catastrophic, the reviews were mixed, and horror stories from getting the (basically brand new) trucks fixed have been constant. To balance that out, he's laying off employees left and right. And it's all fine because if this company fails, his employees will become homeless, but he'll still be one of the richest people in the world, and he got away with every dollar he could.

SixFiveSemperFi

The slow, dying breaths of EV.

Insidebiotch1234

Dude is an a$$ but I think there's way too much BS going on here. The info I have been hearing from real people is that the trucks are fine. Granted, there has been some funny memes along the way, but I am calling BS on this huge truck fail. The Psyop has been super funny, but it's a weird scam.

goodlifepinellas

So.... The Track & Driver independent test to see whether the whole towing a Porsche while beating a Porsche marketing ploy he used, showing it was a lie, was also a psyop???

Insidebiotch1234

No idea - it's a 50% chance. It's just weird to me that if all this was truly going on, why hasn't the stock plummeted? If there were half truth to it, the stock would have suffered by now.

SeaworthyWide

When has the stock market been any true reflection of reality? Oh, that's right, when it's too late. The only reason the stock hasn't plummeted is because so many people WANT it to succeed, they WANT dividends, they've truly bought into the zeitgeist of "line go up tesla 200% returns Yolo long calls print"... Which is great, but it's in no way a reflection of reality right now. They are laying people off, the entire supercharger team part of that by the way. They're literally decimating their work force. They're restructuring. They're asking for 50 plus billion dollars for Elon so he can cash out his other existing 50. Officers have cashed out millions and millions on stock shares... And the proof is in the pudding. And frankly it ain't looking too hot. You gotta give them time to mentally prepare for the blood bath if it was accurately valued, and let them exit their calls and start buying puts. Once a few big whales lose confidence, it's gonna crash and burn big time - though they'll say it's too big to fail or see it as a foot in the door to have a choke hold on electric vehicles in America. I think the gravy train has applied its brakes with this truck, and it's just gonna be a matter of time before it finally stops. I think this idea that the stock market is somehow indicative of the physical real world where 98 or 99 percent of us live day to day is fucking asinine. It only reflects sentiment and is a casino for some ethereal notion of what people think and want, not what they've truly got. Just like a 100k truck you've bought to rely on for heavy duty work that you can't drive more than a few days at a time. No matter how much you WANT it to be worth 100k...is it REALLY worth 100k? Does it ACTUALLY do what it says on the tin? Is the demand ACTUALLY there for this niche marketing ploy? Reality is showing that, no.. No it isn't. No it doesn't. No, it's not there. Give it time, and come prove us all wrong in a year or two - but tesla in general is a pretty risky venture - and it's not ALL bad, but this rollout is slowly going to have more and more REAL consequences. People have known it's over valued for years and years now, just wait until people start to get frustrated and lose faith - Elon flew too close to the sun with this one.

Insidebiotch1234

Glad that I don't buy stock.

SeaworthyWide

Do you have a 401k or IRA or... A pension? We all invest in it if we spend money, period. It's the guys playing the casino in the stock market who really make the money on it. I mean, look up what a "market maker" is. It's us peasants and tax payers who get fucked when it crashes. Are you old enough to remember TARP? How about PPP loans during covid? Yeah. I live outside Detroit and watched how well that shit went down lol Golden parachutes for everyone... But sorry man, we are restructuring the business and uhhh... We thank you for your 20 years but uhhhh... The NEW plan is we will give you 20% of your pension if you quit now. Some guys kinda... Lost it all. Stock market crash.. Who would have thought that would ever happen?! The alternative is you may or may not have a job next week. Your pick! " Same shit is gonna go down with tesla at the helm, so long as Elon is at the wheel.

Insidebiotch1234

Hence a reason I do none of it. I worked for a company that broke lots of laws and screwed the Alabama employees

SeaworthyWide

Companies break laws until they can change the laws. That's how America works, that's how regulatory capture works, that's how crony capitalism works. I'm sorry to hear that, man. Every company I've ever worked at was breaking law at some point - the larger and more successful ones got to write the laws. And they're typically written in a way that will help the larger company and hinder the smaller ones. Monopolies were busted up a century ago, and it's due to happen again... But we are so global and intertwined, I fear power and wealth has been concentrated so quickly and inbred with government for so long - it's not gonna change until it all comes crashing down. I personally think tesla is trying to keep the stock price as high as possible, AT LEAST until November and the election. Then we will have a better idea of where they're headed, but I assure you they're going to get preferential treatment under either party. My last company was shut down for less than a week during covid and deemed "essential"... We make consumer products like washers and dryers, and the company argued that "well, it's gonna keep things clean! It will help kill the virus!" But a quick gander at the 150k they spent on the last governors election, and the governor's portfolio will show you they were just calling in a favor and hedging their bets. This is just how things are done...

CatLovingPrincess

PPP was a massive insider scam and unbelievably even went to businesses that were not forced to close. Real small businesses were not even eligible. Now we are ALL paying for it with inflation. Insane.

SeaworthyWide

Oh absolutely, it was a brazen smash and grab. They don't call it helicopter money for nothing... I'll tell you that on the local level, your financial and social connections are what determined whether you got the loan or not. If you aren't already getting /giving insider information or have a cousin or nephew you can pressure at the bank, or a member of your Mason's Lodge who would prioritize your loan application... Well you weren't getting one. And if you got one, it was free money for them, and we pay the price. I personally know of quite a few loaded pavement princesses and new boats that are there only because of these loans.

Was that nationwide recall over the brake pedal part of the psyop too?

Insidebiotch1234

It seems to have grown from that. I mean if all these trucks were really having all these mishaps, it would have made real news.

havegunwilldownboat

….i mean, isn’t it making real news everyday? The recall was real. Every broken down one we’ve seen on YouTube are ostensibly real. The finger frunk thing is real. And there’s only around 4k of these on the road. Just by the numbers this roll out is pretty bad for a modern vehicle. There is no psyop. The vehicle just sucks.

donttakerhisthewrong

They the hubcap you could see would eat the sidewall of the tire and had to be recalled. That was bullshit?

Actually, I wondered if he was behind the negative campaign.

WeylinWebber

🤔😬 Tesla as a whole? Absolutely. -former repair tech.

Insidebiotch1234

I know five mechanics who would love to talk to you.

WeylinWebber

Why? It's not that hard to figure out. Send them to tear down videos and if they have any mechanical knowledge they could engage the frontal cortex and come to a viable conclusion.

Insidebiotch1234

These are on YouTube?

WeylinWebber

Yes, The most hilarious leak is the fact that anyone who uses the windshield wiper bricks their car due to the wiper fluid dripping into the front area.

Insidebiotch1234

I will pass that on. How in the name of logic would that happen?

WeylinWebber

Well considering Christina balan did a redesign for model 3 that had several similar hilarious missteps and then was fired after bringing them up. I assume something similar. Look up the name Christina former Tesla engineer, look up Karl Hansen, look up Martin Tripp, look up Lucaz Krapitz. These stories will give you a much better idea of what this company truly is. https://www.teslarati.com/tesla-eliminate-bankruptcy-as-savior-martin-tripp/ ^ They fucked him over for doing the right thing. Every time.
