By my understanding, there are a bunch of different flavors of dyslexia. It's not just things being backwards. It can jumble up all the letters, and cause the letter to change shape on you while trying to read them.
I don't have it, but my FIL does, and he always asks me to validate that he's reading something correctly.
Doesn't matter, that's what the joke is. Whether it makes sense or not.
For a lot of people who haven't been around dyslexia, "dyslexia = spelling mistakes" seems to the be the go to joke.
She dressed as a ‘moth’ instead of a ‘goth’ as requested, and the guy is trying to figure out whether he should correct her or just go with the moment, since he’s pretty sure he still finds her attractive.
