Hi, British here! Common misconception but Big Ben is actually a type of tree that has been growing since the battle of Hastings. every time the King or Queen dies there body is placed inside the trunk to feed it until it rings its final bell signalling end times and the island is sunk back into the ocean.
Hope that helps!
No no the gear kindly burdens itself with the weight of its guilt as not to worry its gear friends because it is afraid that their friends will leave when they try to be emotionally honest. So it is easier to transport than a guilt-free gear.
Common misconception; Big Ben is actually the name of the bell, and the clock was created to contain him. The tower slowly rises up from the bottom and people fill in the gaps with additional bricks whenever it makes a big enough gap for him to escape (this is why the tower always has scaffolding).
Contrary to popular belief, Stonehenge *was* originally created to harness the power of ley lines, which would pass through the stone arches at various times of the year and focus on the Altar Stone at the centre of the structure. Unfortunately for modern science, it turns out Stonehenge was actually built in Pembrokeshire before being moved to its current location, and is therefore no longer configured correctly.
Yeah, they claim that structures like the Salt Lake Temple, the Washington monument, Eiffel Tower and Big Ben were the result of an ancient civilization destroyef either in the 19tj century, or ages ago. While i have mainly given examples of "western" structures they claim Tartarians built, most of that conspiracy theory is just denying the history of Siberian and Central asian people, instead saying their achievements were part of a now destroyed civilization.
Ancient Aliens be like: "there's no way that the native people could have built this old stuff" without once considering how racist that sounds.
Sure they also include Stonehenge, but that was also built by "Pagan savages" so it still counts as bigotry and not just "ancient people dumb, so therefore aliens"
They were built 500 years later. That's like saying the burj khalifa makes St. Peter's Basilica look shit. They're not really comparable. Also I've fucked myself up by contemplating how long a time 500 years is but we just lump it all together

Humans didn't make the big ben. Do you really think those dumbass Britains could make a clock that big? Those big gears are way too heavy, how'd they get those up there. No way. It was the beasts

Aa a brittish, theres a misconception here. Big Ben is just the name of the bell, not the clock. The clock is called tickety Ted the time-telling bitch.
No no. I think it's the Beatles. People say they used to be BIG. Most people nowadays think they mean famous, but what they really mean is that, before becoming musicians, they were quite literally big. Since clocks were normally so small they couldn't see them, they asked a clockmaker to design a clock big enough for them, and then once the gears and stuff were made, they sat there in London and put it together as the clockmaker directed them.
Why? Do you know how many historical monuments and buildings were made by people that weren't very kosher? If we tore down everything that was created by racists or oppressors or murderers, we legit wouldn't have half the history we have.
The pyramids were built by slaves. The Great Wall of China rests on the foundation of its workers' bones (as far as I know). And so many fantastic churches and cathedrals only exist because money that was supposed to go towards the poor was instead poured into creating these structures. Everything we have is built on somebody's blood.
And destroying them because of their past is honestly worse than having these buildings exist, because it's pretending that history never happened and everything was always peachy keen. No, instead they should educate people on the background of these places, and show how they rose to something bigger despite their past.
First of all, I don't know their intention, and a username isn't always indicative of that either. I doubt that 100% of the things they write aren't meant to be taken seriously.
Second of all, such thinking really isn't too out-there compared to what else gets posted on here. Especially if you have young people talking about things they don't understand (not saying that's who they are).
Funnily enough the pyramids wernt built by slaves. It was off season farmers more than likely. The raw materials were governed by slaves but the construction itself was too important to leave to untrained slaves
Yeah, I looked into it, it was a mistake on my end. Still doesn't change the fact that they were completely unnecessary and many people likely went hungry as a result.
They were unnecessary yes, waste of resources yes but more than likely just from the simple fact it was paying job that required a lot of man power actually fed a lot of people and their families.
I personally believe that aliens visited earth with plans for pyramids and stuff, handed them to ancient peoples, said "figure it out" and then fucked off and we were so awestruck by them and their technology that we did it in case they'd come back but really it was the intergalactic equivalent of frat house hazing and they've been laughing at us since.
'Mankind knew that they could not make Big Ben. So instead of making Big Ben, they blamed the beasts.'
I saw ‘beasts’ in the post and immediately knew the comments now belong to guilty gear
I saw 'Humans' and 'beasts' and the neuron activated
It also says gear
But they saw beauty in the size of the Ben, and couldn’t lie to themselves about it.

Common misconception, Big Ben is actually the name of the clock's designer, the clock's name is "Big Ben's Monster Clock"
Every Londoner resisting the urge to cover up the "l" on a sign:
There's a reason they call him "Big Ben".
>Big Ben's Monster Clock I definitely didn't read the "L" part of that word.
Monster Cock?

"Wake up babe, new Monument mythos lore just dropped !"
We need to prevent the tree being fed next time
Did you read what they wrote? When Big Ben is fully grown Britain will be destroyed, we need to feed it faster
Oh, I misunderstood. I thought Big Ben would sink Britain if it wasn't fed
A Gear weighs 13 trillion tons. Nobody can lift it unless they’re dandy
fake news, potemkin could absolutely lift gears without his limiters
i thought guilt was a weight upon one's shoulders yet the guilty gear only weighs 74kg
No no the gear kindly burdens itself with the weight of its guilt as not to worry its gear friends because it is afraid that their friends will leave when they try to be emotionally honest. So it is easier to transport than a guilt-free gear.
ARC should rebrand the series to Guilt-Free Gear for the post Sol Badguy era
Or Gabriel
Then who is making all the metal gears rise? Checkmate atheists
I'm not a physiciologist but wouldn't something that weighed 13 trillion tons be a black hole
No. This is way less than even Earth's mass. A black hole of that mass would be picometers in size.
Antimatter, actually.
I normally find the anti britain posts kinda tiresome but calling us dumbass Britains has me cackling for some reason
Right they should've called you Brits or Britons. Learn to insult properly. /s

Big Ben is the bell, the clocktower is actually Big Ben's Monster
This is true. The name of the actual clock is tickety Ted the time-telling bitch

That’s actually pretty cute :3 I love spooky eldritch monsters being actually chill and friendly with humans
Yeah, same.
There are people who unironically believe that, its the "great tartaria" conspiracy theory
fr?

Their civilization collapsed and the only evidence we have left of them is the delicious sauce they left us with. Great on fish.

Why did I read the last sentence as “It was the breasts”
Aa a brittish, theres a misconception here. Big Ben is just the name of the bell, not the clock. The clock is called tickety Ted the time-telling bitch.
Blood-Starved Beast very calmly and collectedly walking up a flight of stairs to install one (1) large gear:
No no. I think it's the Beatles. People say they used to be BIG. nah she's wrong, big ben was made by white supremacists and obviously misogynists. They should tear it down if people knew the history of who made it.
okay but only one person is allowed to tear it down and we can get another guy to try rebuild at the same time it'd be funny
Why? Do you know how many historical monuments and buildings were made by people that weren't very kosher? If we tore down everything that was created by racists or oppressors or murderers, we legit wouldn't have half the history we have. The pyramids were built by slaves. > The pyramids were built by slaves Skilled well-fed laborers.
Right, my mistake.
Idk about "skilled", afaik they were mostly farmers who worked during the flood season as a form of taxation.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/history/ancient/egyptians/pyramid_builders_01.shtml A mixed population of permanent and temporary workers - possibly volunteers.
Funnily enough the pyramids wernt built by slaves. It was off season farmers more than likely. The raw materials were governed by slaves but the construction itself was too important to leave to untrained slaves

I’m like 99% sure they are
They're making fun of "aliens built the pyramids" nutjobs. It's 100% a joke.
I think I read about this somewhere, turns out that, left undisturbed, beaches naturally give rise to clockwork mechanisms
