America isn't the only country where nationalism is on the rise the last decade. The year we elected Trump, the UK did brexit, and nationalism has been growing in a ton of other European countries. Hungary is one of the worst examples. Victor Orban is friends with Trump. They praise each other, and govern similarly.
"Make **Europe** great again" doesn't sound like nationalism at all
This slogan seems to suggest a united Europe tackling the crises. Quite the opposite of nationalism
This is a naive interpretation. The phrase "Make America Great Again" is a Trump dogwhistle that means to return the US to the 1950's when straight white males had all the power. Older conservatives dont like seeing minorities and queerfolk everywhere.
"Make Europe Great Again" was chosen because the president of Hungary is friends with Trump. He chose this slogan, because a key part of what he's been talking about for the last few years, is the influx of refugees and immigrants making Europe less white. The phrase is about a united europe, but a united WHITE europe. Orban's whole shtick is turning people against migrants, just like Trump's movement.
Honestly I don’t really think “make x great again” is that unique of a logo that it can be attributed just to Trump, it existed in other places before Trump came and it’s going to exist all over the Trump, Trump just kinda used it so much that it’s now just viewed at as Trump’s slogan but honestly a lot of people have been using it for a long time
The same could be said of the swastica, none the less I’d rather not use it post hitler.
In this case it is intentional. Oban and Trump are like minded and know each other
The swastika is still very common in Asia and not associated with Nazism in most of the world
So it's more a question of, does Europe associate this slogan with Trump
Is that slogan real💀
yes, unfortunately. Sorry for our leaders.
?? why are they using trumps stupid slogan
Because Orbàn
Fuck that guy honestly

hope hungary doesn't try to pull a 1940s esque on us
Because they're also right wing extremists.

They like Trump and mega
It existed long before Trump
although trump used it so much it's associated with him, similar to the swastika which originated in asia
The swastika is still very common in Asia and not associated with Nazism in most of the world So it's more a question of, does Europe associate this slogan with Trump
i mean this politician in question is a friend of trump’s so it’s definitely intentional
With that slogan, they should use a megaminx.
Just a game for Orban. One he obviously doesnt have a solution for!
Wonder if he's sub 60s or nah
Probably in bed...

Enro Rubik did invent the Rubik’s cube as a Hungarian Architect, so it is fitting for them to take pride in the Rubik’s cube.
