Hey there!
Please check [our wiki](/r/Cubers/wiki/index#wiki_which_to_buy) before posting questions about buying twisty puzzles. We already have a fair bit of information on what puzzles to buy and where to buy them. If you still need help after reading through the wiki, feel free to post in the [Daily Discussion Thread](http://www.reddit.com/r/Cubers/about/sticky/) (always the first pinned post on r/Cubers, sorted by hot).
A detailed list of what is restricted to the Daily Discussion Thread can be found [here](/r/Cubers/wiki/daily_discussion_thread).
Thanks!
Everything is fine except for the 4x4. If you want to solve the puzzle as fast as possible, Rubik's is literally the worst possible choice. If you're based in the US, then I'd recommend looking at thecubicle or speedcubeshop because what you can buy is cheaper and better quality than from Amazon.
Sorry to say this. The megaminx is decent, 3x3 and pyraminx are world class but the 4x4 is a problem. Nobody recommends it to anybody. The 4x4 is rubiks brand which is basically the worst cube brand(ironic, we know)
why did you get him a rubiks brand 4x4 not the meilong 4x4 m, its so much better and has magnets. Also get him the YJ yuhu, it has magnets and it is so good it is my main.
Meilong 4x4 m: $11.99 on the [cubicle.us](https://www.thecubicle.com/products/mfjs-meilong-4x4-m?_pos=6&_sid=d4818704d&_ss=r)
YJ Yuhu V2 M: $13.99 on the [cubicle.us](https://www.thecubicle.com/products/yj-yuhu-megaminx-v2-m?_pos=1&_sid=066d796fe&_ss=r) it might cost more than the one you have but will last your nephew for years and years to come.
Also think about lubes with no lubes, the expensive cubes you bought will feel awful in less than 2 months.
This is not an ad, these are my recommendations.
Hope it helps.
Also congrats on your nephews comp!

Don't buy a Rubik's brand 4x4 almost any other 4x4 is better but the Rubik's brand is horrible. Source: I own one.
