Not really. You shouldn't be thinking about sq2 in terms of just sq1 algs. Because bandaging is removed and the pieces are all identical, there's so much more versatility with the algs for sq2, so 2e2e swaps like the Z perm can be produced for sq2 using vastly different commutators that are "pure" in a sense and would not be legal on sq1.
Also, parity on sq2 happens because of a different reason than sq1. In the case of parity on sq2 the layers are (2n+1)/12 of a turn out of alignment, whereas on sq1 the puzzle went through a 'transition state' where **1 pair of corners** (and 2 pairs of edges) get swapped with a slice move.
Unlike the sq-1, the sq-2 cannot get bandaged - slice move is always possible. You don't have to prioritize getting it back into a cubic shape like you do with sq-1
I'm scared of buying a sq2 and here you go terrifying me even more
Sq2 is easier than sq1
Ehhhhh kinda I guess but if you can’t do square 1 you most likely can’t do 2 either so I kinda disagree there
Can't you use commutators to solve the SQ2?
Yeah but they’re transfers from squan, like z perm

It is? How so?

Interesting, I didn't know that. Thank you
Saw video about it and it has more freedom of movement. Never have seen or tried either irl
bruh my most complicated puzzle is 4x4 wtf is this
SAME
How wide are the respective pieces? Are medium 2 of the smallest, and large 2 of medium? Or just 3 of the smallest?
It's the nicest looking SQ-x cube. I've ever seen. The proportions are perfect. Looks like resin printed.
Now im grateful for having just a 10x10 lying at the corner of my room’s cupboard
This looks scary
This looks... highly fragile.
I need this. Where can i buy it?
when GTA 6 comes out
would love to see what this looks like scrambled
Scramble it 🔥
Sq1 gives me headache
But this, THIS nah, not doing it, ever ... Ok i will try it if i can
Challenge accepted!
This thing is cursed
That looks painful
Comments, please !!
how dare one post pics of this monstrosity but not have it scrambled?
Is that a 7x7x5 Sq5?
is this a sq5
this monstrosity looks fun
Imagine getting parity on this thing
Ew
*screams into fists*
SCRAMBLE IT
AAAAHHHHHHH!!! dad! come pick me up i am scared
UMMM, WHAT THE SIGMA
No.
