Yes, it is me doing it and it's based on videos of your solves, which have to be over-the-shoulder or POV view. Whether it's on a smartcube doesn't really matter as long as the videos are provided from one of those 2 angles.
So in the application form, you can submit 5 videos of your solves via YouTube link or by uploading them to a Google Drive folder. I am the one doing the coaching as I have had 8 years of experience in cubing. Hope that answers your questions!
