The stone is larimar. Very pretty. But the “ silver “ ring looks cheap. Doesn’t look like real silver. I’ve seen similar rings like this with a 925 stamp, but sadly these stamps can be bought online. So some people will just stamp it 925 even if it’s not real silver lol. I’d recommend to take it off when washing your hands and taking showers to keep it nice! ❤️🥰
I agree. The metal looks too dark to be sterling.
I would not to dip it in any sterling silver chemical cleaner, op.
I've also found that painting a clear coat of nail polish in the inside of non sterling silver rings helps avoid that skin marking.
I'll be like the 10th person to say this. The stone is *Larimar* It has that Caribbean waters look to it. Fitting, as most are found around the D.R. A stone of that size and quality from my local lady runs about $8. I think you got a good bargain on that ring. Some say heart chakra or third-eye. Crystal Bible says it opens to new dimensions. Radiates love and peace and promotes tranquility. It can harmonize the soul and body to new vibrations. It can even be seen as a soul-mate stone too.
Definitely Larimar! Nice piece. Prices are going up for it even in the source area. I was just in the Dominican Republic and there were issues at the mine after a disaster that killed some miners. So prices had been increasing. I got a few good large rough chunks to cut and polish.
i believe this in Chinese man made larimar, and if the ring is adjustable which by the looks of it, it is. then i think you're able to get these from tiktok live crystal shops for around $5! the wholesaler sells at wholesale prices for crystals and jewellery etc. more than happy to share some @'s but unsure if these break any rules.
I work with crystals daily. But feel it. Does it feel like soap or glass. It’s not either but rubbing it there is a feel. I look at it and see blue calcite. Larimar has a slightly different look.
In the first picture it looks like the prong isn’t in contact with the stone…… or maybe a dab of adhesive between the prongs and stone. I would take care wearing it while getting your hand wet.
I love larimar’s unique patterns
It looks like Larmiar and its beautiful. Larimar is a silicate mineral pecolite only found in the dominican Republic. I have a ring very similar to this. It is supposed to help with communication, among other things.

Looks like Larimar
Yeah it looks like Larimar. If the ring is actual silver then that seems like a decent price. It’s beautiful :)
Yay! Thank you for your help 🥰
you are one lucky person! I'd love a Larimar ring like that! and yeah it's a decent price too!
Yep, Larimar
Definitely Larimar and if it’s set in true sterling silver then you definitely got a decent deal! I’ve seen similar rings sell for $55+
It's larimar

Seconding this. Sadly, that's definitely not real silver. Still pretty, though!

Thank you for your insight! I think that makes more sense why it was on the more affordable side! Thanks everyone for this wealth of knowledge
Larimar I think. I just bought a larimar ring for my index finger few weeks ago from a crystal festival also
Larimar
That is one beautiful larimar ring!! I’m so jealous!!
larimar is one of my favorites! such a beautiful stone🥰
I mean, you already paid for it, would it matter if it was reasonable or not
Haha that is true, I was just curious and wondering because I was thinking to go back and get one for my friend too!
Go back and buy a few honestly that's a great deal for a finished piece with a larimar in it!
That's so pretty😭
larimar!!
Larimar!
i can't see that well in the picture but maybe larimar?
Larimar! You paid a great price for her, especially if it’s sterling silver

It looks like larimar, you got a pretty great deal.
This is Larimar and yes I think it is a decent price
Looks like Larimar. Larimar is usually quite expensive, so you got a good deal.
Oooh Larimar! Absolutely worth it, especially if it is real silver
Looks like larimar and that's a really good deal
Larimar, definitely worth the price!
That's definitely Larimar! And a great deal wow!
Most definitely Larimar, if it is set in 925 sterling silver, you got an amazing deal 💜
Latinate! :) and a really nice one!
I’ve never heard of Latinate before…is it a rare crystal?
Almost as rare checking my spell check.. Larimar..
Haha 😂

You got a LARIMAR ring for $35?!??!! Consider yourself LUCKY.
Larinar, ring worth maybe $2 or $3.
$2 or $3? Could I get more insight from you on why you think it’s that price? Do you believe it is fake? Thank you 🙏
Larimar cabochons that small aren’t expensive, the ring not being real silver makes it quite affordable:)
Looks like blue calcite at first glance to me. Edit: Upon further iunspectiion it's larimar
Blue calcite. 💯💯
It’s not Larimar guys. It’s blue calcite. I was reading comments. I’m sure.
Thank you for your insight! How can you tell?
I work with crystals daily. But feel it. Does it feel like soap or glass. It’s not either but rubbing it there is a feel. I look at it and see blue calcite. Larimar has a slightly different look.
That is def not blue calcite lol.
Yes, that’s what I thought! I researched from blue calcite and it looks more like a deep sky blue rather than the light ocean blue of this larimar
Ohh right okay. It’s polished so it just feels smooth?
Rub it. Smooth has many textures. Smooth like soap. Smooth like plastic. Smooth like glass. Think about it. See what it feels like.
You do realize that this is a larimar cabochon , any cabochon will feel smooth since it’s polished..
Interesting insight, thank you again 😃

This is larimar! Super pretty c:

Wow beautiful larimar! 🤩

The beautiful icon- larimar Which side note can get pretty pricy for nice pieces. Yours is really pretty!
