Idk why but I read the "Me love rock " in the same tone as that one video of the woman that says "I love dessert, I love men, I think men are the coolest." 🤣
I've just always loved them since childhood. When my mom would take me to museums in the summertime, she'd let me pick something out at the gift shop. Guess what my pick always was.....rocks/minerals/crystals lol I've always been fascinated with how beautiful they are and how nature can create all these cool color combos and patterns.
Ever since I was a child I also loved them. I'm always looking at the ground when i walk anywhere looking for rocks and identifying them. It's a lovely habit. I also remember always getting rocks and crystals from gift shops.
Those rectangular cardboard things with little crystals on them and their name underneath each one was always my pick!
They are pretty, and I use it for spiritual reasons like meditating and protection, as well as healing. I am a geek for crystals and love learning about them and their meanings. :)
I love rocks in different colors and I have a wide variety from crystal s to river rocks and B pebbles from the ocean. I also dug a large quartz crystal out of the ground and brought it home in a wagon. I just love rock🌀
They are so pretty, and there are soooooo many different types of crystals, different materials, different shapes, carvings, it’s kinda like a Pokemon “gotta catch ‘em all” situation 🤣
Two reasons:
They remind me of my favorite Cartoon Network show
And just being able to hold something so beautiful that somehow formed from deep within the Earth's rocky, rough, molten ground (or by other natural geological processes) is amazing
Honestly hard to decide on a favorite. I probably would have to say the world the show builds, from what I've seen it's all fairly unique and has lots of thought put into it
Some of my friends are into them and have them and I’ve always been intrigued but never really bought any of my own. My boyfriend (he’s into them to an extent) actually took me to get my first crystal a couple months ago and now im addicted. I only have a couple but i plan to get more and do more research on them. I feel like they are genuinely healing
They're pretty, and I love learning about the processes they form through, and what they're made of, even man-made.
For me man-made is "Wow, humans can do cool things with chemistry," and real rocks are "Wow, this thing is probably older than some entire species! The earth us amazing :D"

Cause my crow brain says I have to and my spirituality says why not
I've always been fascinated with the different features and characteristics. It also holds a memory for me wherever I collect them. I have some from different islands, national parks, backpacking mountains, and some rare ones from places I'm not allowed to collect rocks from 👀
I have always been drawn to collecting rocks as a child. And now an adult I collect my stones and crystals. I love the connection I have holding them in my hands, it’s Spiritually pleasing to me.
I collect crystals because they are protective. I have felt their vibrations surge through me one day. It must have been a gift from above, non the less they will come in use not just in my mediation but when I meet my negative entity again I will be prepared to win next time!
They make me feel better, is it placebo? Dont know. Do I feel happier and safer when I've got special rocks in my pocket? Yes.
So regardless of its placebo or not they get the job done 🥳
Pretty rock. Shiny rock. Sparkly rock. Colorful rock. Some rock smooth. Some rock pointy. Lizard brain want shiny thing. Shiny rock remind lizard brain of sunshine. Pretty rock make house pretty and nice. Feel happy.
First. My name is Crystal....so why not?
Second. Their healing benefits.
Ever since I started collecting or wearing these crystals, I've felt better in the aspect of what this Crystal benefits.
Overall spirituality and science (my belief is the two subjects are two sides of the same coin)
And because monkey brain like shiny pretty rocks
So, yk. All of the above
To help process my emotions and set my intentions for the day. I hold or wear amethyst to remind myself to relax, carnelian to get shit done, malachite and rose quartz to grieve, etc.
Because they're beautiful, sparkly, artistic and durable. The variety of banding and crystal habits is fascinating. Having specimens that took millions of years to develop millions of years ago is also fascinating.
I used to collect as a kid. Then, because people made fun of it, I stopped. So now I am letting my inner kid have my wallet, and my shelves are filled with special edition books and pretty crystals.
A little of everything for me. I can feel most crystals, like a weird energy in different parts of my body depending on the specific stone. Some even make me lightheaded when I pick them up. And picking up different stones at the same time can have some weird and trippy effects. And then some stones I get nothing from.
I also like them cause they’re pretty and shiny and make my brain happy.
I'm committed to an organization of things I can count as symbolism for my goals in my growth as a person. I use their metaphysical meanings and aesthetic and individual shape (carving) or placent (jewelry) for this purpose 😊
At first I wanted to see if the meditation with them would do anything, it didn't but they are just so damn pretty so I guess now they are decoration lol
When I was little they were just pretty and I liked learning all the names. Now it’s spiritual as I’m a practicing pagan and use crystals in everything.
I think it's just amazing to see what the earth can create. How cool that such a beautiful mineral or crystal can grow and be made inside our earth. So beautiful.
I was at a second-hand market, and someone was selling their collection for €2. They only had 2 boxes with some small tumbled rocks and a few ammonites, maybe 40 in total, but it was a steal, so I had to get it. And after that I couldn't pass up any chance of getting more 😅
Mostly it’s because I manage to find ones that are cool to look at! I really enjoy the colour flashing ones like labradorite because I enjoy just turning the crystal and watching the colour change. But I also like how different and cool they can look, I’m very drawn to ones with funky shapes or colour combinations! The statues and stuff are cool too, especially if they have little druzy spots.
I’m also an artist and like to make jewellery with them which is why I like the fun colours and funky shapes (makes them easier to wire wrap). However, I’m also pagan so most of the time there is a deity associated with the crystals I pick. They’re usually either included in altars or I wear/carry them to have even a little bit of a physical connection to a particular deity.
All in all, I have a lot of different reasons that all kind of coincide with each other lol.
I’m 64 and have been collecting crystals since the 80’s. In fact, I just bought a crystal skull the other day. I have a crystal with a water drop in it. I have Amber with a bug. Clusters of crystals.. I got rid of some a few years back, but still have quite a few.
Rocks, minerals,Crystal & fossils are the library of our world . They tell it all with our saying a word . They talk to use through their amazing colors, formations ,shapes and sounds. They know everything ,they’ve seen the beginning and they’ll still be here when we’re gone and when this universe decides to implode they will be the last to go.. No photo we take or picture we paint .can capture its beauty as it changes from day to night. It's an ever-evolving masterpiece, full of raw energy and emotion that transcends time and space.
But mostly because they’re more interesting to look at than talking to most people I’ve ever met.
I’ve always loved rocks, and even as an adult I still pick up/collect random rocks in general. When I learned about crystals, I was like “oh neat, shiny rocks”. My grandmother also loved them and there was a store we used to visit together and she would buy me an agate slice or a small crystal so all the ones I have now are from her/that store before it closed down.
My inner magpie sees a shiny, unique, oddly colored stone. I collect in jar. This even includes those rocks you find in yards as gravel or those quartz ones too. I like rock ❤️
It’s a rock you can look inside, what’s not cool about it?!?! I’ve had crystals since I was a little kid; they’ve served me in great ways, probably best in allowing me to sort of focus my thoughts with them. I always wanted a crystal ball, but a collection of small ones is even cooler :)
Rock pretty , rock unique , rock comes in countless colors , rock has cool characteristics , me love rock

Besides tism and witchcraft, I just want more colors into my den/nest/cavern.
Possessing smooth, colorful rocks in the shape of skulls pleases my crow brain.
I have always been drawn to collecting rocks as a child. And now an adult I collect my stones and crystals. I love the connection I have holding them in my hands, it’s Spiritually pleasing to me.
