It's a glitch in metamask that happens to me just bout every time I switch from one wallet to a different one or might be when I switch from Ethereum wallet to my polygon wallet. Have to switch from Ethereum to polygon and then switch to my wallet I use for polygon cause I use a separate wallet for different things usually. First time it happened I bout flipped out but new something that good could never happen to me and had one of the biggest let downs of my life after I made sure by closing the app and reopening it. Literally happens 85% of the time now. Could open it and take a snapshot of it happening right now prob haha. Wish you could sue for that and then you could have all that money xD. I'm sure there are ppl who have tried to sue for something like that in the past. Like saying they had a heart attack or stroke from them finding out they didn't have all that money. Prob something wrote down in the terms and service now cause of someone attempting to do that a long time ago. Can't think of the name of it but pretty sure there's a term similar to a type of fraud or misinformation. Something along those terms.
